+ -1 moreGentleman showed close to appointed time but was ready to work - no delays. He survey the entire house and informed us what would be covered with the deal. We asked for some additional work and were quoted a price, which we accepted. The entire job took about 4 hours. The gentleman worked productively and did not require any assistance.
Description of Work: The windows never looked better. We were pleasantly surprised how well it turned out.

+ -1 moreCompany did not return my phone call. Left a message and they never called me back. Finally reached them after several attempts. Sales person very pleasant on the phone. Date time set up. When the contractor arrived he did not have a 3 story ladder, even though I told the sales person I had a 3 story home. Another day/time was set up--on a Sunday afternoon--. Before the appointment the contractor called and said it was going to rain and asked to reschedule. The only day i had free was a holiday. The job was completed as expected in a timely manner.

+ 0 moreI don't blame the late start on the workers, though. The main office needs to coordinate better with their staff. They scheduled the crew for 3 large jobs on Saturday in different areas of Houston. The driving time alone can eat up a significant portion of a day. The workers also did not have my phone number on the Saturday they were supposed to be there so they could not call to tell me they were going to be late...when they finally drove to my house they got there after 6PM. Of course they asked if they could do the work the next day, a Sunday! Bye bye weekend! I did have things I wanted to do but had to be there the whole day since the job took more than 7 hours, start to finish. I never received a phone call from the main office in California though I asked them to call me back after the job was done. In fact, I called the main office twice and left 2 messages.
Description of Work: Pressure washed house, driveway, and back porch. Also cleaned the exteriors of all windows. They did a good job when they finally got there.

Description of Work: I purchased the $99 special coupon from Angie's LIst. Then I added extra services when they arrived. I had both inside and outside windows cleaned plus all my screens.

Description of Work: They cancelled my first appointment at the last minute after I had already taken the day off work. In exchange for the inconveinence, they agreed to clean my screens for free. They only sent two people to power wash my house and clean the windows and screens. They did a nice adequate job.

Description of Work: I purchased the coupon for 20 inside/outside windows to be cleaned for $99. I have a two story home which makes it difficult for me to clean the outside upstairs windows. I have a very large picture window above my front door which is also difficult to reach and clean. The gentleman that came to the house was very pleasant and did a great job with all of my windows. I was aware that I would have to pay more for my large picture windows and also needed to have more than 20 windows cleaned but the price was great and the finished product looked great. I will definitely use this company again.

+ -1 moreTook advantage of the $99 special for twenty windows. Jesus arrived within the scheduled time period. I had a few additional windows plus I wanted my screens cleaned. Jesus explained the pricing details for the extra windows, solar screens (which needed to be unscrewed) and the sill cleaning. The extras were also expalined to me when I called to book the cleaning. Price seemed reasonable, but I thought cleaning of the sills (extra $3 per window) would have been included since the windows where being hosed down with water anyway. Jesus did a real good job. Since he was by himself, it took ~ 4hours (longer than I would of liked). I'm sure the 95+ degree Texas heat slowed him down a bit. Overall good job.

+ -1 moreCame on time and were very polite. Washed all 20 windows (outside only) as agreed to on the Angie's List Deal we paid for in advance. The windows looked clean when finished. The only windows that were not perfectly clean were the ones that needed to be cleaned on the inside also. (They would have cleaned the inside for an additional charge.) I would definitely hire them again.

+ 0 moreIt started with Jesus coming an hour early - WOW, I wasn't expecting that but since he was here I thought we'd get started. We worked on the price to clean ALL the windows and screens - then I asked how he cleaned the windows...whether a pressure washer was used or not and then we went into pressure washing the house (almost the driveway and patio too). We came to an agreement and Jesus started. 6 hours later he was finished, I paid and he was on his way...it wasn't until I walked around the house that I found my sprinkler heads and plants had been abused. I was disappointed but the windows look great!
Description of Work: We had our windows cleaned inside and out and had our home pressure washed. The service went fine and I enjoyed working with the laborer.

+ -1 moreWe have a lot of windows on our house -- around 25. I picked up an Angie's List coupon for $99 for window washing. This was the "base" package, so we ended up spending an extra couple hundred since we have solar screens (screen cleaning was included in the per screen price). Three workers showed up for the work, and they spent several hours washing the windows and screens. Because a few windows were really high, they had to come back the next morning with a longer ladder. This wasn't an issue for me, and they showed up early on a Sunday to complete the work. Overall, I was pleased with the work and while i did not anticipate the extra charges for the screens, it was explained up front and I was given an estimate which ended up being accurate.

Description of Work: The company was quick to response for pricing and was interested in my business, however, the great deal I bought was no deal at all. When they stated 20 windows in the deal, they only meant one side of the windows. Then, all these other rules apply, like it is glass on a door = surcharge, if it is 6 ft or over = surcharge, Inside is less than outside, but they offered no price breaks if the window was free from blinds, etc. I prefer straight answers.

I'm ashamed to say it is the first time in many years that they have been done and I am amazed at how good they look. Will definitely have them back on a regular schedule to maintain the nice view. The follow up from their office to facilitate the scheduling was also very good. Had some problems due to the weather and other situations and they were always on top of it. This kind of service makes all the difference when dealing with a company. Definitely a repeat.

+ -1 moreI had a deal from Angie's List for America's Best, Inc to come clean my windows. I called to schedule my appointment and they called back within an hour of my call. Desiree was kind, helpful and very friendly. She explained the service and how my deal would work. She even called back when my cell phone cut out! We scheduled my service at a convenient time for me. The day of the appointment they showed up on time and were very friendly. They got right to work and cleaned both the inside and outside of my windows within an hour. They were neat, did not leave a mess and put everything back in place that had to be moved to get to the windows. It started to rain during the cleaning and the tecnician told me to give him a call and he would come back and clean the outside again if I wanted. They did an excellent job and my windows looked brand new! They even cleaned my vinyl window frames on the outside!I would highly recommend America's Best. From start to finish they were a pleasure to work with and were so professional.

Description of Work: I signed up for this Big Deal because I have windows I cannot clean by myself--mostly because they are storm windows. I was very pleasantly surprised when the Houston office called me the same day to set up an appointment for the next morning.When the tech. arrived, I told him I really needed all the windows done--but especially the ones in the back of the house. I expected him to clean the inside & the outside panes. What I didn't expect was for him to disassemble the storm windows and thoroughly clean everything--including using a "Shop Vac" to clean up any dirt that was in the "nooks & crannies". He not only did the two largest windows--which took him over two hours, but since I had to get back to work, he asked if he could return to do the bedroom windows. At this point, I was ecstatic, so I quickly agreed. Again, I was pleasantly surprised when the scheduler (Jessica?) called and said he could be there the next morning (because he had already told me he had two other jobs that next day). And, again, he did such a thorough job; my windows haven't been this clean/spotless since they were installed over 20 years ago! After over 5 hours of hard work, I expected to pay much more than the $99. So, again, I was ecstatic when he said the total would only be $35--over the amount I had already paid Angie's List! I am still absolutely ecstatic and would not hesitate to use this company again--or to recommend them to someone else!
