America's Best Inc

It was very easy to schedule our service with America's Best and they gave us the exact time we requested when scheduling. The service installers did not have the equipment that we needed when they arrived, so had to come back the next day, which was a bit of a hassle on our part, and they were a bit slower than providers we had used in the past, but they were very thorough and did a great job. I had no complaints about the job once completed and they were very nice.

Everyone was very friendly. It is a bit cumbersome to deal with the company located in California who relays the information to a company where you are located, in my case Houston, rather than dealing directly with the local company for scheduling, questions, etc. Also, it's a case of the right hand not knowing exactly what the left hand is doing in that the Ca company will book an appointment not realizing how big the city is or how long it will take the local company to complete their current job and travel to your location, etc. We had to have a couple of appointments just to get to the final day they did the work. I had to follow up several times to make sure they were coming or to find out we needed to reschedule. The windows were cleaned, and when I noticed they were putting the dirty screens back on (they didn't ask about it), I was informed there was an additional charge per screen to actually clean those. Of course, I went ahead and had them clean the screens rather than putting dirty screens over clean windows, and I paid the additional charge. I would much prefer a complete bid in the first place rather than finding out after the project has started that there are extra charges for each little thing - windows with multiple panes (French windows?), cleaning the screens, etc. Just kind of felt like I was being nickle and dimed for each part of the job which, in my mind, should have been included. In the future, I'll probably just deal with a local company directly and have them figure in ALL the details in order to give me a firm bid before engaging their services.

America's Best was very professional and courteous, and went above and beyond the scope of work to ensure our windows were clean, that we were satisfied and that they delivered value.

Only thing is to make sure you don't forget your appt. as they charge a service call for the next appt. for $30 plus the $99. Otherwise, great service!

Excellent. The technician had a great attitude. He did a great job. There was no disagreement over counting the windows. Price at $5/window for external only cleaning was okay; $3-4 would have been ideal.

We had an issue with scheduling and decided to get a refund and not hang lights this year.

They did a very good job. The job was thorough and the windows were clean.

I was less than pleased. He left dirty puddles on the tile in my house. The house had been spray painted and he did not make an effort to clean the paint on the windows.

They came out late. They did not have their own water hoses and mines had the sprinkler attached and we could not get it apart. So, they borrowed my neighbors water hoses. I thought they should have been better prepared by bringing their own supplies. They also used my ladders and wrenches. They did a pretty good job of pressure washing the house; although, they did not finish all of the lower areas of the house. I would say they completed about 90% of my house. Overall, they did a pretty good job and the next time I would probably just point out the areas where they did not finish for them to complete it at the time. My fault for falling asleep and not checking their work before they left.

It was a mother and son. Wasn't 100% sure they'd ever done it before. The mom was very overweight and I was worried when she climbed the ladder. They both seemed lost at times. Don't think she spoke any English. Not professional, but you could tell they needed the work, so I wrote (at the time) that they gave a good service. Don't want to see anybody lose their job in this economy.

after repeated cancelations and reschedulings, 6 months after my initial purchase, the contractors finally came to my house. But they told me that the coupon covered only the first 100 ft of my gutters, and I would have to pay extra for the rest of the gutters (another $93). Yet the coupon wording has no such limit. Even after my wife showed the actual coupon to them, they still refused to do the gutters for the whole house. I suggest to them to call the office of America’s Best to resolve the issue, but the office was closed at that time (Sunday). In the following week, the office informed me that the coupon I had was incorrect. After I emailed them the coupon, they still insisted that it should have a 100-ft limit.

Went fine, as expected except that they did not do the repairs on the spot but instead picked up the screens and said they'd return later. For several days they kept saying they'd come by the next day then didn't and called to reschedule again. New window screens are nice and just what I wanted. Also I had one that was bent out of shape and they fixed that at no extra charge.

They came, they cleaned, I was satisfied and I would use them again.

I was expecting a professional window cleaning crew. What I got was a crew of people wearing street clothes with nothing identifying them as America's Best, Inc. employees. The vendor did not have the proper equipment (appropriate ladders, cleaning solution, etc.) or personnel to properly do the job. Prior to purchasing the service, I spoke to a representative at America's Best on the phone and let them know that I had some oversized, hard to reach windows. I was let to believe that there would be no problem. We discussed pricing for oversized windows, etc. I was also led to believe that they were not a franchise type of company. After the service was concluded, there was confusion as to the pricing even though I did a walk-through with the crew prior to the commencement of the work to confirm pricing. I was sorely disappointed with the job that was done and the experience as a whole.

Arrived on time. Did the work and then left.

It turned out very well. They didn't charge me anything extra. They did the work and the gutters are now all working perfectly!

The workers seemed conscientious and did a very good job. They were careful to avoid property damage as they moved their equipment from location to location.

They arrived on time, performed the work as detailed and removed all debris.

I contracted for the work in August, but asked to delay to October, since it would be cooler then, and the window washing would go better. I was told that they would show up in the morning, and they arrived at about 11AM. We discussed the windows to do (I actually was incorrect in thinking it was 20 complete windows, but it was only 20 window sides. This was spelled out in the contract, but I hadn't read it carefully). We agreed that they would do the outsides, as I could do the insides easily. They cleaned, I cleaned, and within 2 hours, I had wonderfully clean windows again. I would use Marisel and her son again with no hesitation!

I expected the window cleaning to be both inside and outside cleaning, but because of the type of windows I have, which are French pane windows, the company was only willing to clean in the outside.

Service providers were ok, but did not "wow" me. They completed there work in a timely manner, but were not over-friendly.

The workers were on time for our first meeting. They measured the windows and said they would be back with the screens that day. They never came back and I was unable to reach them for several days. They had a voicemal with no outgoing message and I wasn't even sure if they were getting my messages. I finally called America's Best to track them down. Finally AB called me and said my screens were on back order. Several days later the workers showed up unannounced, during dinner time, but the windows they brought with them still didn't fit right. It was impossible to communicate with them due to a severe language barrier. They left for several days and again showed up unannounced to put the screens on. After they left I realized they two of the screens on the WRONG WINDOWS!!! So frustrating. Very unprofessional. Overall a bad experience. Screens look cheap.

Mary and Martin were prompt and called on their way to advise they were coming. They were friendly and professional in appearance. They were meticulous in cleaning the windows, screens and solar screens. They left no messes and were sure to clean up after themselves. I had a good experience with them and would not hesitate in hiring them again.

The workers arrived on time which is big with me. One person worked outside and the other worked inside. The window cleaning when as expected and the windows look great when they were finished. There was no mess left behind. I am please and glad I used them.
