Description of Work: I used All Star Stone to polish and reseal marble floors on the first floor of my home. They did a good amount of prep work, covering the walls and crown molding to prevent staining. After they finished, the inside floor and our travertine front porch looked new. They removed the streaks that years of cleaning products left behind and restored the shine to the floors. The only issue I had was the price. For about 1000 sq ft of marble floor, they charged around $2100. I had misgivings when they quoted me that much, but I had trouble finding a good floor cleaning service so I accepted All Star's quote. The quality of their work and their customer service was good. The price is the only thing that would make me hesitate to use them again.

 + -1 moreMy tiles were in pretty bad shape... Had them installed 6 years ago, and they weren't good quality. All Stars came in and tried very hard to work magic but there is only so much you can do. The tiles did look significantly better afterwards. The technician even cleaned the foyer tiles even though that was not in the plan... the foyer came out very nice... As for the Kitchen tiles.. I had them removed can got new ones... I give All Starrs an A for effort and trying hard to please the customer.

Description of Work: Unfortunately, due to my condo's location, the service could not be performed because the necessary equipment did not reach. However, the technician that came out was very helpful, professional and gave me some tips on how I could get the grout cleaned on my own. My money was promptly refunded by Angie's list.

 + 1 moreInterviewed top rated companies to seal all grout (floors, showers, tub surrounds, back splashes) and counter tops in newly constructed home for the day before we were to move in. They were $1000 less than my second choice after phone interviews of the company and were able to come on the specific day and time they were needed. They responded to calls and questions immediately and did a very good and thorough job.
Description of Work: Had the tile grout in a 3550 sq ft house with tile in large kitchen, 3.5 baths and hallway sealed as well as all the granite and marble counter tops. They were $1000 less than my other quote, were available within a week's time and did a great job. Warranty repairs of the grout a month later required re-sealing of two areas which they did at a 25% discount.

 + -1 moreI hired them to clean the tiles floors. Maybe I expected too much. The tile and grout looked worse than before they came in. It was old tile, but I really expected those grout lines to be thoroughly cleaned and to pop once again. Not even close. Like I said, not sure if my expectation were too high or if the quality of the work was just bad. Either way I ended up p****** away $500 and then just had to rip out the old tile and put new wood floors in anyway. Had I known having the tile cleaned would not yield the results I expected I would have never done it. Dealing with the company was fine. Nice folks, showed up on time. Maybe my expectation were too high.

 + -1 moreThey came out right away. The man was professional and experienced. He tried a couple of things first and then told me he would not be able to do what I requested. He then called back thirty minutes later to ask if he could return. He came back and tried two other things but still could not honor my request. He was professional, prompt, honest, and really went the extra mile. He did not even charge me for any of the service calls.
Description of Work: I called because I wanted them to remove a stain in our grout. I saw a special on Angie's List and decided to give them a call.

 + -1 moreThey did work in a kitchen, large sun room, two bathrooms, a hallway, and a laundry room. They came out within a week of calling them. The experience turned out quite well.They were professional, prompt, and knowledgable. They steamed the floor, hand painted the grout, and then sealed it. It looks amazing and I am really happy with the work. At first, I was leery but so far I am really pleased. I feel I never have to worry about the grout again. They even cleaned several of my rugs. He was also very honest and when he returned with my rugs he also returned some money. He explained he did not originally honor the deal within the final cost. I was very impressed and pleased overall.
Description of Work: We just moved into a home with white grout. I originally purchased a Big Deal for $195 for grout cleaning and sealing. After speaking with them I decided to have them hand paint the grout as well.

 + -1 moreIt took them several days. I even had them return to fix things. I eventually gave up because I so disgusted with the situation. Originally, they assured me they could do the work. They did tell me of certain troubles with the floor and I assured them it did not have to be perfect. However, the floors now look worse than they did before the work.

They then cleaned and polished a sample area for me so that I could be certain I was happy with the polish. The travertine was very dirty and scratched up from a dog, but the men made the tile look great. The were pleasant, professional and thorough. Highly recommended.

He explained it would be noisy, that they're be some water and what he was spraying. He didn't hold me up at all. He was in and out in about an hour.

This last visit we had a new employee clean our home, Joey and he was very professional and super friendly and most important ON TIME. We have a dog and a baby so our carpets are always in need of cleaning. Our experience has always been positive. I live in Bellaire and many of my neighbors use All Starrs Carpet Care and have all had a positive experiences.
