Technician stated problem was A/C unit needed replaced due to excessive current draw by unit. Second opinion determined that instead there was a circuit problem in that the line to the A/C unit was damaged and causing A/C to go out. This was an intermittent problem; the second company stated that they would not have recommended replacing the unit regardless, but that it was lucky they found the problem as quickly as they did -- they happened to be there when it blew the circuit again, and were able to smell the burning wire (!). They were timely, polite, just wrong. I have used them for appliance repair repeatedly, very successfully.

We were very pleased with them. We have used them for a while, and I felt their price was fair. They have great customer service. Also they are very attentive. They work well with us and answer all of our questions.

AirCon Service Company came to the rescue for us! From the person who first answered the phone and took our order to the installers who replaced the bad unit, we received extraordinary service. We had previously recieved poor service from a large, local League City company and wanted to do our due diligence before making such a large purchase. AirCon's on-line review reputation is excellent as well as it's Reliability Report with the BBB in Houston (A+). We solicited three competitive estimates and AirCon presented the best quote with the best after hours, weekend and holiday maintenance coverage. And, according to the 2010 Consumer Report Buying Guide, the best Central Air Conditioning system with the best repair history is, Ruud, the system we purchased. We are very please with AirCon's service and will recommend them to friends and family!

I recently had a bad experience with a company, Certified House Cleaning, that specialized in carpet and air duct cleaning. They had to come out twice to complete the duct cleaning job because they had not properly sealed the plenum. Even after they came out for the second time, they did a poor job to seal the leak. At this point I decided to call AirCon to see if they could help me out. I recalled a friend of mine from church was working for AirCon and I decided to call her and tell her of my experience. She transferred my call to Derek, the owner, and he patiently listened to my dilemma. He was very understanding and indicated he could send out a technician to assess the problem, at no cost to me. I received a call within 30 minutes of our conversation informing me that one of the technicians had a cancelation and could be at my house in 40 minutes. I met the technician and showed him where the leak was and the terrible taping job the Certified technician had done. He resealed the plenum and showed me that there was no longer any leaks. I later spoke to Derek and he provided suggestions on how to keep the mold from coming back. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the owner and the personnel that work for him. They were all very courteous and professional in helping me out in my situation. I am sure I will come back to them for any other AC needs and plan on setting up a yearly maintenance agreement with them. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend AirCon for your AC service needs.

Called in the morning and was able to have service the day of the call. Uniformed worked arrived on time as arranged. Took one look at condenser and knew what had happened. Repaired cut wire in less than 10 minutes. Charges seem excessive for services. $60 cost to "drive to your house" and $76.67 to repair a "minor electrical problem" which was actually reconnecting the wires and putting a new cap over the connection. Speed of service and punctuality certainly earns high marks, but the charges for the service performed certainly seemed excessive in my mind. Received call from company owner, apologized for not following company policy and refunded cost of repair work.

I met some of the folks at AirCon through mutual business friends who said good things about them so I decided to give them a try. I needed some routine non emergency service on one of my A/C systems. Their technician was punctual, professional and polite. He performed the service I needed in a timely manner and left the area where he worked clean. I consider the price charged for the service rendered to be reasonable and was well satisfied with the overall experience I had with AirCon. In fact, I was impressed enough to sign up for their regular maintenance service so I will definitely be using them again.

I called several companies that couldn't send someone now but Aircon did send someone immediately and he was courteous and very professional and quickly fixed my problem at a very reasonable price.

They were prompt. I called them and that day they came out. He listened first and then said let’s see what we can find. We were experiencing health issues from this and literally the next day after his repair we felt better. I have their service under contract at my business and my house. I’ve had multiple honest dealings with them and will continue to use them in the future.

We called AirCon at 8am on a Sunday morning during Memorial Day weekend. Our AC had quit cooling during the night. By 11am, the problem was fixed. Leon, the repairman on call, returned our call within 15 minutes of our leaving a message. He was at our house within 2 hours, and I must say that Leon was the BEST. He was professional, smart, friendly, and quickly determined the problem. Although our AC is old, he didn't push buying a new one. He just said he'd help us keep our old system running for as long as possible. When we mentioned getting in on their maintenance plan, he suggested we wait since our system was old and not worth pumping alot of money into. So who will we call for that new system??? AIRCON! The service call charge for 8am on a Sunday and holiday weekend was only $85....very reasonable. The whole thing cost us less that $250. Even my husband was impressed.....and he's a pretty hard sell on stuff like this. I have met the owner of AirCon, Derek Stewart, and I was equally impressed by his professionalism and dedication to providing quality service at a reasonable price. If you need AC work, don't hesitate to call this company. They are simply the best.

The project went on very well. They were very polite and punctual, as they came on time. There was a background check and a drug test being done before hiring them. They were very knowledgeable. I felt a little more comfortable, as they came in a vehicle which had the company name on it and they were in uniforms. I work for a security company and I know how many crooks are around there. I did get several estimates, but the price charged by them was excellent and less compared to the other companies. They installed the new air conditioner in one day and took away the old one. Their responsiveness was very good. The quality of their product was excellent. They were professional, as they were very clean and didn?t make any kind of mess. They protected their shoes while walking on my floor. They were prompt and did a fantastic job. I will hire them back in the future, if needed.

From the initial request for an estimate through the completion of the work, we found the office and technical personnel to be extremely courteous, empathic, punctual. The estimate was accurate and fair and the company was very helpful, patient, and understanding in answering all of our questions factually and completely. The technicians demonstrated an exemplary work ethic and were protective of and sensative to our home environment.

Both appointments were routine services, but the work was done professionally and because of that we'll continue to use them.

They are very professional. They did what they said they were going to do. They didn't press me for new business. They were knowledgeable and shared information.

Aircon Appliance Company could come out when another company couldn't for a spot job that I needed to have taken care of. They came right out, assessed what I wanted, & quoted the price. The serviceman was very courteous. He even put booties over his feet when he came inside to make sure he didn't track up the house, & that really impressed me. The ice maker was a small job & didn't take long at all. It works great now so I definitely can say I got what I wanted.
