AirCon Service Co

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They came out, they did a great job. As a matter of fact, I had a maintenance contract with another company and I switched to AirCon based on their performance.They honored the price that was part of the deal and they came out promptly and have been out since because I did have an issue within a week with it and they came out promptly to correct that, I've been happy with their service.

My experience with them was good. They showed up on time. They did a service call charge and it was good. They were easy to work with.

Will showed up on time quickly diagnosed the problem and took care of things.

AMAZING WORK! Jonathan, the AirCon technician, was running late because of all the calls he was doing and was supposed to be at our house from 3-5. Around 4:15 or so, we got a call from the AirCon office to inform us he would be running late and that we were the next person he was coming to assist. They apologized and were very curtious. I thought it was nice they gave us such a "head's up" about the time delay and that it was a real person who called and not just an automatic prompt. Jonathan was very polite and really took his time examining both our units. He DEFINITELY did not rush through anything but really examined any and all problems we could have had. Our upstairs AC has not worked in over 2 years and our downstairs main one has not worked in over a year. He replaced the regulator on one of them. He found a slight wire connection issue that was causing one of them to not power on correctly because the motor was not making its electrical current correctly. The wire was very simple and tiny and behind our unit in the back yard. He said that they can come loose sometimes and it can cause the whole unit to act like it is not working. He not only reattached it but covered it with electrical tape and mended the area. He checked both units for Freon. One did not need any but the other was almost completely out. He said it means we have a leak but that he could not tell how long it would take for it to leak so much Freon that we would need it recharged or that part replaced because that is virtually impossible to tell. We bought their monthly Service Partner Relationship plan that is only $10.75 a month and applies to 10% off the bottom line for their heating and cooling services; as long as the machine is in running order upon the start of the program. For the first time in 2 years, our house is not burning up. I am not burning up. They truly are an amazing company. I have met other companies who try to take advantage of situations, claim to be Christian but DEFINITELY do not exhibit the morals, or who add random fees on at the end or say all kinds of problems exist and you should just replace everything. They stand by their Christian background, there costs are upfront and not misleading, and they are understanding and realistic about your situation. I could not have asked for better service. We received several quotes to replace our 18 year old HVAC system. Aircon provided by far the best estimate. At first I was worried about what they might skimp on because the price was so much better than others, so I asked specifically what would be included. Their price included more than some of the other bidders were offering! The installation crew arrived on time as scheduled. They were courteous and professional, and patient and knowledgeable when I asked questions. They put down protective covering around the work area and were careful not to damage anything. I inspected everything after they finished. They did everything they promised and it looks great. Best of all, it works very, very well. We are very pleased with AirCon and would recommend them to anybody looking for a fair, honest, professional heating and air conditioning company.

AirCon provided us with a portable AC unit to use in our downstairs living area so that we did not burn up that week while waiting for the part. Not onyl that, but we had several estimates prior to AirCon that told us we need to replace the entire unit, which was false information. AirCon was honest about what repair needed to happen and they were so very generous by helping us keep cool with the portable unit. I love AirCON!!!

Job was smooth start to finish with an excellent crew that worked nonstop with out a break for eight hours to finish my job.

I had them replace the duct work in a 60 year old house and the AC and furnace. I felt very comfortable talking to them about the different possible ways that it could be done (replacing all the duct work verses replacing part of it and whether the furnace would be replaced). The staff was courteous and on time. A complex job was completed in 2 days. There was some damage to the sheetrock when new ducts were installed in one room - they pointed it out to me and quickly offered to pay the cost of fixing it.

They arrived on time and worked most of the day doing the installation. There was a minor issue with my ceiling that I will have to have repaired, however this is the least of my worries, because I know that I will be reimbursed for this expenditure when I have the repair made. I am pleased with the installation and do not have to worry about cooling issues with this unit for the summer. They have a great warranty for their work. It is my pleasure to do business with Aircon.

Everything went well. Company called me that same day to notify when the techs are on their way which is good. Work was completed in the estimated time that was originally provided. Payment wasn't due until all work was done to satisfaction. Will and Brandy was excellent. Will actually came back the next week to inspect the work their team did and fixed any minor installation issues to perfection.

AirCon Service Company come twice a year to do my AC and heating check. I have a contract with them. I pay a yearly fee but it comes out monthly so its a lot easier to deal with. They are very professional and very quick to respond. I had a whole heating and AC unit replaced by them, I was very, very pleased. They left mu house exactly the way they found it. The heating and AC check gives you a piece of mind and I feel very, very comfortable with them. I would recommend them without any hesitation or whatsoever.

I called AirCon based on Angie's List reviews, having never used them before. I was very pleased with their service in every respect and will certainly use them again. They came quickly to give a quote, explaining details of the equipment and revisions needed, the units available and the pricing. When I had a question about the units based on another quote, Wayne came back again to verify things and explained the basis for their recommendation. The quote was the lowest of 3 received and included new thermostats. The work was scheduled within 2 days to accomodate our schedule. The installers were professional and polite and truly left things cleaner than when they came. Not only putting a drop cloth on the stairs and other areas they walked through, but also vaccuuming everything when they were done. They were also very good about calling to confirm the timing and calling when they were on their way. I also appreciated the call received a week after the service to make sure everything went well, thank us for our business and hope that we will call them again if the need arises. We would definitely recommend AirCon after this experience.

They have great customer service, and they allows follow up and check to make sure everything is still good. The technicians are thorough. They bill monthly. I still use them.

The technician arrived ahead of schedule. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He checked out my unit and advised me that there was not a problem. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. This will be company that I will use in the future for all of my heating and air needs. I really enjoyed the experience. I felt that he was honest and not trying to sell me something that I did not need.

I called AirCon in the morning and they had two very nice technicians at our home the very same day. These employees were by far the most knowledgeable, proficient and professional HVAC personnel that I've ever encountered. They did a complete inspection and were able to rule out several issues (claimed by a home inspector) as being unnecessary or unwarranted, thereby saving us a lot of money. They also discovered a repair that needed to be made and immediately went to pick up the new motor and installed it the same day. The technicians were extremely polite, on time, wore shoe covers and were not pushy at all. The bill was actually lower than I had estimated and they also happily accepted my $25 Angie's List coupon. I would definitely recommend AirCon to anyone needing HVAC work. In fact, I wouldn't use any other company for HVAC work than AirCon!

The 2 person team arrived right on time. They took the time to let me explain exactly what has been going on with this house the last few months. They assayed the situation, and then began to work. They were very courteous and polite, and made sure I understood what they needed to do to solve the problem. At the beginning before they started the work, they gave me an estimate on cost. Once I approved, they began to work and did not stop until completed. With information I had given when I called in for service, they already had the parts they needed to do the job in a quick amount of time. I will retain them for my annual heater/AC checks each year. They were knowledgeable and I was very comfortable with them in my home.

Though the UV light may have made a difference in the air quality of my home, it was not apparent in the frequency of sneezing that continued to come from members of the home. It did emit a semi-foul oder at times, but I was warned this may happen prior to installation, and it was a sign the light was working. My wife grilled me on several occasions, suggesting that all things considered, it was a poor investment and waste of money. She went so far as to say UV lights were scam. I neither agreed, nor disagreed w/ her, as our home's ductwork probably deals out more allergens than a UV light can handle, and the UV light's responsibility stops at the plenum. Any latent mold/pollen that had entered the ducts before installation of the light would not be affected by the light. I also wasn't dilligent enough to periodically check the device to determine when it may have needed replacement. I therefore, can't say in confidence, that my wife was the least bit correct. I guess I need to clean my ducts then replace the light and monitor it more closely next spring. Overall, my wife and I both feel Air-Con is one of the best A/C contractors in town. We had an A/C nightmare concerning our home warranty company, First American, just after the light was installed. The shade-tree techs sent by First American came to my home about 3 times a week for two months before the unit was so much as temporarily repaired. We hired Air-Con to back check their work to allow us possible legal recourse against First American. Air-Con was very knowledgeable and accomodating. First American refused to honor their contract and replace the unit, resulting in our having to do so at our own expense. We gave Air-Con the first opportunity to sell us one. The tech said, they personally owned American Standards, for which he would sell me one in excess of $8-grand and offered a cheaper Ruud or similar model. Another really good Angie's List company whom I've reviewed before, offered us a simialr American Standard for under $6-grand. We obviously took the lowest bidded American Standard, which has had no problems and cut my light bill in half. I did refer Air-Con to a wealthy client of mine in the Tanglewood Area. They too, were very happy with them.

Our furnace was running non-stop and had problems keeping the house at a comfortable temperature. I called near close of business one day and the service technician (Will) was there next morning at 8am ready to work. He quickly determined the problem and knew how to fix it. The high temperature limit switch had failed and was disabling 2 of 3 heating elements. Unfortunately he did not have the replacement part in his truck and he had to drive from Galveston all the way back to Clear Lake to get the part. This took over an hour, but I was not charged for the extra travel time. Everything was completed quickly at a very fair price. Will was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely use AirCon in the future.

The job went very well. The service tech was very nice and professional. I was very happy with the work performed and the HVAC filter has helped with the dust in my home.

They were great! We had been having issues with our AC overflow backing up several times over a period of several months. We had called another big name in town, and they had come and flushed the line several times. They never could tell us the problem. They would typically blame it on a backup further down the line (we lived in a condo with shared main pipes). I told AirCon about our issues. They flushed the line, and all seem fined. It started dripping again shortly after they left. They came right back and found an issue that no one else had found. They tried a free workaround first and said that if that did not work they would need to do something different. The great news is we never had another problem with it! I would totally recommend them!

The furnace checkup was done last month. The technician arrived at my house on time (actually about 5 minutes early), and spent about 10-15 minutes doing the checkup. He explained what he had done and the results of the checkup and gave me a detailed list of what had been checked as well.

They came did what they said they would do. I was satisfied with their work.

Provided estimate in a timely manner. Showed up promptly and finished on time. Like the way they always call before dispatching for an appointment and always call after in case you have any questions. Very professional.
