Not sure. At first I felt like I was wasting my money because the tech seemed unclear about why he was there, i.e. "well, there aren't any coils on this system to clean." But he did later explain what he checked. I still didn't have the warm fuzzy I got when they installed the 2 systems, but I will probably continue to use them unless they screw up.

Because the repair estimates were so high, we called another air conditioning company for a second opinion. The second company discovered that the only problem was that the breaker had been tripped. Once they turned it on, the system worked fine. They also found that the freon level was above the recommended because Absolute Comfort Air Conditioning had added a pound that wasn't needed. We have called Absolute Comfort Air Conditioning repeatedly. Each time, the only available person is a dispatcher. When we described the problem, they said someone will call us, but no one has ever called.

Excellent!! I bought my house in August 2007 and got a home warranty as part of the deal. The warranty required that I call Absolute Comfort for HVAC problems. I thought this would be time-consuming and I was in a hurry for help the day before Thanksgiving (it was 80+ degrees outside) and I had company coming. I called another AC company first; that other company's technician said my AC system was "completely dead" and it would be $1800 to fix. So I said, "If it's gonna be that much, I have to try to use my home warranty." Well guess what? That tech suddenly "realized" my AC was having an "electrical problem" and all I needed was to call an electrician. I did, there was nothing wrong with the power supply. So to wind this up ... I called Absolute Comfort as I should have done from the start, and the warranty process was a breeze. They came out at the first opportunity, fixed my AC and only charged $60 for the call, as required by the warranty. I WAS VERY PLEASED. No more problems.

I think that this company has always done and excellent job. They have been to our home on several occasions for various types of work. I would recommend them to anyone for their loyalty to the customers. They really put you first every time they come to your home. It doesnt have to be a big job they are very friendly no matter what. The price of the service is paid on a as needed basis.

Our home heats and cools much better now that we have the additional ducts. They were really nice people and were really helpful with scheduling their work to fit our schedules. It took them about a day to get all of the ducts work done and ready for us to use.

The initial, estimate interview was impressive. We were so impressed, that despite previous estimates that did not quote a need for a new compressor, we opted for Absolute. The estimate was $3000 less than the leading competitor, including the compressor. Given the magnitude of the job, we felt confident in the decision. After three UNRETURNED calls to the main office, we opted to call the project manager (Stanley), directly to schedule the job. My husband spoke at length with him, leaving the conversation with his, the project manager, returning to our house in a few days to measure parts, etc. for order. We were surprised since during the estimate he promised the job would be completed within only a few days, but understood the need to order parts. After three weeks, Absolute and Stanley, failed to return to our house to measure for parts, follow-up with a phone call explanation, or make any contact. We were shocked! Given the heat of Houston in August, this is unexceptable.

The AC tech, Dan, obviously knew air conditioning thoroughly. He explained everything to me in terms I could understand. He was courteous and friendly, and performed the work quickly. He discussed with me the pros and cons of replacing the whole system vs fixing it. My aging AC unit is working much better now, and hopefully its life has been extended by a few years.

A/C went out just after 5 pm. Called several companies but it was difficult to get someone to come out the same evening. This company wanted to schedule for next day but when I said I would call someone else, they agreed to come out the same day and the technician arrived around 6:30 pm. Technical was very friendly and explained everything in detail.

Good experience over all. The tech knew what he was doing, he was friendly and on time. He was reasonably priced and able to get the needed parts and get the A/C fixed in a short amount of time.

Absolute Comfort Air Conditioning & Heating was honest in telling me what exactly was wrong with my system. Another company told me I needed to buy a new air conditioning unit. He was very experienced and gave me a good deal. I felt he was trustworthy. I would recommend him.

Absolute Comfort is a very dependable company that takes good care of my air conditioning unit. The most recent visit, they did only a few minor adjustments to make sure the unit stays up and running. When a repair was necessary, they did a great job of explaining and showing me what it is and why it needs to be done. They are very knowledgeable. I trust their assessments. The prices they charge are fair. They have a great attitude and I enjoy using them.

Absolute Comfort Air Conditioning did a satisfactory job on the repairs for me. I wasn't exactly thrilled by the pricing, but they were comparable to others in the area. They were about the only one I could get to do the two units. They were very respectful in all fashions. The job didn't take long and wasn't drawn out. My air conditioner works great and that's what I needed from them.

MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS WHEN THEY INSPECTED AND SERVICED MY A/C UPON BUYING MY HOME. I APPRECIATED THEIR HONEST EVALUATION OF ONE UNIT; VERY OLD, BUT WORKING OK AND NO NEED TO REPLACE (AS OPPOSED TO TRYING TO SELL ME REPAIRS OR NEW UNIT). SECOND EXPERIENCE, MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY HAD VISITED +/-6 TIMES TO REPAIR A UNIT THAT WASNT WORKING PROPERLY, WITHOUT SUCCESS. I CALLED ABSOLUTE COMFORT AND THEY IDENTIFIED AND FIXED THE PROBLEM ON FIRST VISIT.
