I like them because they are very sensitive about the chemicals they use. We live next to Buffalo bayou and we have a Coy pond as well. They are very good about taking precautions.

They always come the day they are scheduled. If I complain that the weeds are not gone, they will come out again. They will add weed killer any time I want. Lawn has been doing better since treatments.

They were very professional. They did take a long time getting the job done. They came promptly and took the lights down. The storage for the lights that they gave us was very easy to use and we plan on using them again this year.

I met with the landscaper and he drew up plans. He told me it would take a week or two to do the work and it ended up taking seven weeks. The work looks great. There is a problem with my jacuzzi. He never told me that I would need an electrician to finish up. The follow up was very poor and it takes him awhile to get back to you. They do good work but I would not recommend them.

I really like their philosophy on treatment.

They did not show up for the appointment, I had prepaid for the appointment. I called them and they told me someone was coming so I waited the time frame that they gave me and still no one. I called back and was told I was wrong that they were to come the next day. I then asked to speak with the manager, I was told there no manager available to talk to me, I was sent to the manager's voicemail and I left a message and I still waiting for a call back. They still haven't came and did the work. I then asked for them not to come out and I wanted my money refunded. They never contacted me about the refund so I canceled the check. It has been three weeks and still no word from them.

Our pool was clean by another service when we hired them to take over. We thought it would be easier because they were doing our lawn and termite/pest control also, but not because we were unhappy with our former company. They had kept the pool clean and in use for 2 years. Our pool went down hill very fast when ABC took over. The service seemed unmoved by the state of the pool (it was GREEN!) and would just check the "algae" box. They came ever week and the pool only got worse and worse. We called and nothing changed. We were also having a hard time with the other services. This was no different. The employee would come and do minimal work (one time it was raining and they were here for 2 minutes or less and still charged the $44 and it stopped raining as the pool man was getting back in his truck but he didn't come back). They would randomly check boxes on the bill and leave it on your door so they could bill you for the week, even if they did nothing. We fired ABC and ran to the pool store to get some shock and algaecide to start turning the pool around while I found a pool man to come over. We shocked 3 times and soon the new pool man was over. He found that the filter was very dirty and in desperate need of a good cleaning. ABC had not cleaned it, or at least not properly. They should have been very alarmed by the state of the pool and checked the filter, but they did not. Our was turned around quickly with the new service. I suspect that ABC also skimps on chemicals.

This was a nightmare or a scam? They wouldn't do the back yard if the dogs were out and no one was available to put them in their gated area. Our old lawn people didn't mind, but I understand and didn't argue. I tried to get them put in their holding area when I thought they would come over, but that isn't easy because their schedule is variable from week to week. But then they didn't do the back yard even when there were no dogs in. The final straw was that they came before 8am (we have community rules, that could get us in trouble) and spent about 8 minutes cutting the front lawn (which didn't even need to be mowed). The back lawn was untouched! There were no pets back there and the gate was not locked or anything. There was no excuse. They then put the bill on the door like every week. $44 for 8 minutes of work!!! Also they never did even minimal shrub or flower bed cleaning. They didn't really bother with weeds growing up out of the sidewalk. Both of these things I discussed with the sales man and he assured me they would indeed do those things. I had tried to talk to them previously about service issues but they wouldn't talk to me because the bill was past due (barely, check was on its way). After this, there was trouble with the pool service. Our lawn looks WORSE then it ever has and we now need to hire someone to clean up their mess. ABC sends their employees out just to show up and put a bill on your door and be as quick and minimal as possible.

They never showed up first time, when they did come, they did the work all wrong. I had them leave, they were very difficult to follow up with.

For actual extermination, so-so... Yes their chemicals to work, it is just that their service is horrible and not worth the effort. There are plenty other service companies out there who will work for you, the customer, and not treat you like dirt.

The first mowing visit, on April 27, 2007, went very well. Nothing went well after that, however. There were apparently major glitches with the company's communications and customer service system. The lawn was not mowed again over a 33-day period, despite my calls on May 14, 17, 23, 29, and 30 to five different people at the company, including the supervisor and the lawn care manager. Each person there, promised to investigate the problem and see that it was resolved immediately, but nothing happened. Meanwhile, our house had the worst yard on the block, with weeds and grass growing unchecked since, we were out of town, quite a bit over this period of time and I am unable to mow it myself. Finally, at the end of the day on May 30, when the promised mowing crew had again not shown up, I cancelled the contract with ABC. Perhaps this is such a big company that a single customer hardly matters. Whatever the reason, I have never experienced such incredibly poor customer service.

I noticed that they have been showing up on their schedule, not mine. If I am not at home, they exterminate on the outside and then bill me for the full service even though they have not completed the work. I have to call them to reschedule the remaining service. I called this week and asked them to come back to do the inside of my home and they told me that it had been more than 30 days and they would have to charge me again. I want an exterminator that shows up when it's convenient for me and that bills me only for work that they actually perform. They adjusted the bill after I complained to a supervisor.

The pump on my pool broke and the maintenance guy noted it but didn't call a technician. I called 5 times and had my call returned once. Pool turned green and they still charged me for weekly maintenance. Had another company come out (in 24 hours) and solved the problem. The filter had no diatomacious earth at all, and had to be replaced at a cost of over $800. I have canceled my service with them and do not want them back on my property.

I have to stay on them with the service and the billing. Steven Martin came out and he patronized me and just told me what I wanted to hear. My yard doesn't look any better for what I paid for since day one.

On time, very polite, explained everything.

I was impressed with the efficiency, the cost, the speed, the thoroughness, and the friendliness of both the representative and the exterminator. I didnt have to call a 1-800 number and talk to people not in Houston. The local answering service was also both friendly and informative. Finally, not only did the people arrive on time, they arrived early! A first in my experience with any home service company!

I am very dissatisfied. First off, I feel that they charge too much for this particular service. I did use them for a very long time because I did not know who else to call. The people do not have any sense of humor at all. Every summer, my pool would end up having lots of algae in it. I believe that they had mixed the chemicals wrong or something. I am so glad I do not use there services anymore. I was really beginning to get fed up.

ABC is breath of fresh air after dealing with our last pool company. They show up on time, every week. The technician is great with our kids, and does a perfect job maintaining our pool. Before we hired ABC, the pool water was green, now its beautiful blue, and all the algae has disappeared. If they believe there is something extra to be done, they will communicate it to us and let us make the final decision, without a hard sell. We are billed monthly instead of weekly for convenience. Im glad we hired them.

They perform continuous services to ensure prevention. They keep pests at bay. They spray outside, provide bait, and traps inside. They provide continuous protection year round against a variety of pests. We have had no further infestation since we began using them.

This was such a comical adventure having them come to my home. ABC made such a mess when they came. I still have holes in some places of the house from them. At first they could not catch the rat & had to keep coming back. I am not very crazy about this company because I kept getting charged every time they had come back & that was not right.

ABC answered my call promptly, followed up readily with an estimate and application treatment. They were very expensive, but were able to explain the specific solution for using bait and chemical to kill the ants. The application treatment was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set and the technician was on time. He set the bait and sprayed, but the treatment didn't work. He came back the second time and still couldn't kill the ants, so I canceled the contract.

They come out every couple of months and spray for me. They spray for all bugs inside and out so I don't have many problems after that. The price is a little high for me, however having said that, I feel that they are a good company.

They came out and sprayed a few months ago and did a really good job. I thought that they were very professional, and I would use them again and recommend them to my friends. I only had the inside of my house sprayed because I have animals and I don't want them to get sick.

We just had begun to have a termite problem and wanted to deal with it before it got too bad. ABC treated the whole house, behind and inside the walls, with chemicals. It took several hours, and they returned to make sure it worked. We have not had to call them back. Everyone was very professional and orderly about the process.
