They were prompt, courteous, and thorough. This was the first time using them, and I was very pleased. The overall experience was excellent. The price and quality were excellent. I would definitely use this provider again.

They arrived on time and finished when promised. The first day was spent tearing out all old shrubs and plants. They hauled in new dirt and mulch. They removed all trash and cleaned up yard and driveway. The landscape designer, Bob Keenan, chose beautiful plants and made changes as requested. The second and third day were spent doing stonework and planting. There was alot of attention to detail and a follow-up visit. We have requested ABC to do quarterly maintenance for us. It begins in June.

They did a good job. They came when they said they would. They put a cage in there and then they had to go get the cage and the animal. They closed up the hole and left another cage in there in case there was another animal hiding. We have a little tiny house. I could hear him and he got caught the afternoon they first put the cage up there. I had to wait all that time till they could come back out and get him. I thought surely the squirrel would die in the meantime, but he never did. He was very much alive when they came and got him. They wore socks in the house and they were careful about going up in the attic because it’s a small house. It was a tiny attic and they had to crawl around on the beams to get to where they wanted the cage put. They didn’t break anything. They didn’t come through the ceiling. I think it's just too much money. If I had been there when my husband signed the contract, I would not have signed it.

I have got a contract with them. They come every two months. I am very satisfied with them.

Called to schedule a termite inspection and informed the gentleman I was home all week with other contractors, so this week was preferencial. He came back on the line and offered me Wednesday or Thursday next week. They do not work on Saturdays, according to him. He did not seem at all interested in my business. I will not be calling back. UPDATE: The 2nd ABC rep (see above) scheduled an inspection for termite and pest control. The gentleman who came to the house called twice before - once the day before to confirm and once to say he was running late. That was a precautionary call, though, because he arrived on time. I believe he did a thorough inspection of the house. He was knowledgable about his products and services. He was not hurried and also did not waste my time. It was a low-pressure meeting and sales approach. My husband and I are interested in the services and the quote is reasonable for the work proposed. We have had to delay our decision on this because another home project took an unexpected turn (when do they not, right?) and the contractor on-site (not pest/termite related) has not completed their work. However, we intend to contact ABC when the we get past the current project in progress. My original rating was all F's; I have moved it up to a B because of their follow-up. If the first poor response had not occurred, I would have given the 2nd experience an A.

Their starting price for sprinkler systems is $2,000. That includes 4 sprinkler heads. This price was outlandish compared to other quotes I received, plus even though I have small yard, 4 heads would in no way cover my yard effectively. I normally use their service for general lawn upkeep. That service is ok, but it's still a little pricey. I'll give that aspect of their company a B rating. They have great customer service, but we've had trouble with them closing our gate, and I really don't think their technician treats the lawn every time they come out. I still have problems with fungus, weeds and patchy turf, though it has improved since we started using them.

They did a great job, it was definitely worth paying them to do it rather than doing it yourself. This was the second year I had used them. I will definitely be using them this year again.

The main thing is they have some good technicians.

He came and the squirrels were gone. He could have pushed the service on me to get it done. However he didn't push the service on me and advised I could wait. He gave me an estimate. He also gave me his expert advice.

The representative who came out to the house for the initial consultation was prompt, professional, and articulate. I signed up for a pest control contract (I believe it was for a period of one year). The initial treatment was around $150 with bi-monthly treatments at around $70 per month. Our initial report indicated a fire ant infestation, spiders, roaches, etc. In fact, the fire ants were so bad that we could not go into the back yard. The chemicals used seem to be very effective in controlling our pests. It took two treatments to get rid of the fire ants, but we only had to pay for the first one. We have needed additional treatments several times in the past few months, due to the extent of the infestation. Each time we have needed a treatment, whether it is scheduled or as-needed, the representatives have been early, they are professional, courteous, and articulate, and they take the time to answer my questions. I pay for services online and have never experienced a billing problem. I am thoroughly satisfied with ABC's pest control service and would certainly recommend them to others.

I pay $80 an application. I like them and they are good. They were coming every other month and it was too much money. I've been with them for a long time. They started out every 4 months and then went to 3 and now 2. The cost is prohibitive so I'm having my son do it. I won’t go back to them unless the price changes.

It was fine. They were within the window when they said they would be there. The fellows were pleasant and did what they came to do.

Charles did an excellent job. He was very professional and spoke to my husband in great detail about the best decision to make with replacing the evaporator coil. I highly recommend Charles and ABC Home and Commercial Services.

They are okay, and I have no complaints with them. They are prompt and cover their shoes. I never know when they are here; I think they come every month. The workers are pleasant, and I have no problems with them. They do a good job, but I still find bugs inside; however, I have never had any pest problems. They send me a bill, and I find them to be pricey. I would use them again in the future.

I've been using them for a couple of months, since May. The service has been great. I've noticed a difference since I've been using them.

The Lawn Maintenance has been excellent, the Animal Removal was acceptable (believe we were plagued with Armadillos and Racoons due to the drought conditions and after capturing two racoons discontinued the service as it would have cost an additional charge for removal of each additional captured rodents. Issue seemed to correct itself). Lawn Mowing service has been unacceptable. After several complaints to the owner (it took two e-mails to owner to get any response at all) about the condition of the lawn after mowing (left over grass clippings, areas cut to the soil, areas missed completely), it was indicated that wet grass was the issue and so they moved the mowing time from mid morning to mid-afternoon. This has seemed to alleviate the left over grass clippings but not the other issues.

Everything was great. I've used them for years, and I've never been disappointed

If they come with the lights, they fix them. They are everywhere. They are exterminators first, they do handyman services and everything. They were great. They've only done the Christmas lights, which were incredible, and pest control. We have a tile roof so they took down all the lines of the tile up on the roof when it's moist and it looks classy but kind of gingerbread like. Some people spend $3000, we normally spend $300. They ask you what you're minimum is then go from there.

I spoke with Ryan and he got me an estimate on cleaning up my yard. It was weedy, the flower beds were a mess, the bushes needed trimming, I had dead red tips, and the lawn needed edging. I asked them about the red tips, which had grown to a large 14 feet, but he said their company does not do anything over 6 feet and I would have to call a tree expert. Fair enough. The yard cleanup cost $665 + tax (Lawn Maintenance Services), with an additional $80 + tax (Lawn Care & Shrub Services), for special fertilization treatment. The other terms are a weekly $32+tax for mowing, trimming, edging, and sweeping, and $40+ tax, every other month for fertilization and lawn pest control. While the yard looked good after their cleanup, I'm not sure the weekly mowing and fertilization is worth it, as we've had a long dry spell and the grass simply isn't growing as much. They indicated that in the winter they scale back to mowing every two weeks. Again, not sure that's worth it since the grass (Augustine) doesn't grow AT ALL in the winter time. They also do not credit me when I asked to skip a week of mowing because I wanted my grass a little longer. They are a large company, so it's a somewhat impersonal feel, but they also have convenient online bill paying and automated reminders of when the lawn is going to be out there. They also leave a rolled up notice on your door when they have been out there. This is nice to know since it's not always obvious (esp in winter) when the lawn has been mowed. I would say this company is "ok", but not great, and their prices and terms may be viewed as too much. Also, if you do use them for big work, make sure you are there when the crew shows up. They showed me the copy of their "work order" and it was so illegible that they were standing around for 10 minutes scratching their heads as to what to do. They really should provide their crews with typed orders so there are no legibility problems. Luckily, I was there and was able to come out and tell them exactly what I wanted done. The workmen were all polite and they finished fast, so no problems there. Be advised that they do have a "cancellation fee" of $125 + tax (basically, one month of mowing) should you decide you don't care for their work and want out of your yearly contract. If I had to do it over, I would use them for the yard cleanup but not sign up for their weekly maintenance mowing, or I would only have them come out twice a month and do the in between mowing myself. I should mention that this was my first time hiring a lawn company, so some of the unfavorable terms may just have been my inexperience in how lawn companies work.
