I had called late Friday afternoon and he arrived at 8 am Monday morning as I was told he would. He was polite, professional and helpful. Based on this experience I would recommend them and use them again.

The work went fine. I was first on the schedule that day... the man from ABC showed up on time and ready. He let me know what he would be doing and the costs. I peppered him with questions (as I tend to do) and he was great about providing answers and even quotes for when I'm ready to update the style of garage door. He had all the tools and equipment required to do his work - even had a universal remote on hand. I would use them again.

They sent a repairman out on the same day my garage door springs broke. He called in advance, was on time and did a very professional job.

We had an issue with our garage door not closing all the way and reversing itself or just not closing at all. I called up ABC at 7:30 am as well (review before me did the same). We agreed on a time of 11am. Guy called around 10:55 am and said he would be there in 10 minutes. I was not there but my wife was. She said she felt comfortable, and after he diagnosed the issue(s), he called me and he and I discussed. I decided to replace the opener with a new one (a Liftmaster). There was no point in spending a couple hundred dollars to repair an opener from 1991 when a new replacement was $315. He also replaced the chain, installed a new laser site, and new buttons in the garage and inside the house (detached garage, already had the old wiring/buttons there). It came with all that and two remote controls. He also programmed our old remote (a Clicker) I had bought to use with the old opener and showed my wife how to program mine as well. What he did which we also GREATLY appreciated, was after we decided to go ahead and replace the opener, he did not actually have one with him since their inventory was rather low he mentioned. He called his office and they did have one, so he actually drove back to get it, and came right back to our house to install it. Great service! Overall, excellent experience. Would not hesitate to use them again in the future! Great communication, efficient, and reasonably priced. I believe the gentlemen who worked at our house was named Ray.

They repaired the door I thought they might insist on replacing. He was working for at least 2 hours. A pleasant worker. It cost less than I thought it would as I was sure they would try to sell us a new door.

I called at 7:30am, and had someone out by 11:15am. That's quick enough in my book, the reason for the B is that I was told 9:30, then 10:30, and then when Nelson got a hold of me, he told me 11:15, and was on the money. Nelson knew exactly what he was doing and was great at his job. He fixed the broken spring on my garage door, and replaced a broken hinge, and the opposite hinge that was stressed. Checked everything else over, adjusted how the arm of the opener was attached and explained why, even recommended changing our garage door opener combo from the default :) Everything was speedy, clean, very affordable.. just an all around great experience. I would use and recommend them again.

They were on time and did a great job. I was very pleased.

This is my second time using ABC Doors. They were very professional, on time and courteous.

My husband tried to replace some brackets on our double garage door. The repair went awry, causing the door to jump the tracks and get stuck - 2 days before we were leaving on vacation! We called our home warranty company only to learn that none of their providers could come out to repair the door before we left on vacation. This was unacceptable, since the garage door wouldn't close and was open just enough to let someone in. We checked Angie's List and found Abc Doors, who were able to send someone the very next day. Given the condition of our garage door, I expected an expensive repair. Instead, we only paid the service charge, less $10 thanks to an Angie's List coupon, making the repair $87. On top of that, I was late getting home to meet the repairman. But, bless him, when I got there, he was hard at work and almost done. Not only did he repair our double door, but lubricated it as well as our single garage door. I really couldn't have asked for better service and a better price. We were able to go on vacation with no worries!

From start to finish, this was a high quality efficient and pleasant experience. I called the office Tuesday morning, obtained a quote for the garage door opener model I was interested in and set up an appointment for the following Wed morning, with a 2 hour window for arrival. Wednesday morning the technician arrived about 30 minutes early which was a bit inconvenient for me since I work from home and it's not always easy for me to hop off a conference call. The technician pulled straight up my driveway without first coming to the door which was a little surprising. I went out to meet him, confirmed the work to be done, and told him to let me know if he needed anything. About an hour and a half later, he knocks on the back door that he's ready for me. The technician proceeds to explain the remote functions to me, what he had pre-programmed, that he had checked on and oiled all the spring, hinges, rollers, etc. Apparently he has been doing this for 16+ years with ABC, so the company must be doing something right to have such a loyal employee! Oh, he did not receive notice about the 3rd free remote using the Angie's List coupon, but when I produced the coupon he went to his truck and grabbed one right away, which he also pre-programmed for me (and showed me how to do it myself). When I saw where he had installed the keypad (which was not where the initial one was) I pointed this out to him and he asked if I would like for it to be moved to where the existing one is. I told him no, but asked if he could remove the old one since it's of no further use. No problem, he did it without any question. This was by far one of the best and smoothest experiences I've had in a very long time when dealing with a service provider. Based on my experinece I highly recommend ABC doors!

Urbano called 40 minutes prior to arriving. He was polite, courteous and well-dressed. He began working immediately and left the garage neat and clean. He completed the work in about an hour and a half. He hauled off the old parts.

Came out same day they were called, on time. Fixed garage door and made adjustments beyond just fixing the door. Did more than they really had to, to do the job.

I called ABC in the morning and they set me up with a technician for the next morning. Urbano from ABC arrived on time (calling first to let me know he was on his way) and gave me an initial estimate of the cost to diagnose and fix the most likely problems. He then conducted a thorough inspection of both doors, then called me out to explain the problems with each door. I approved the spring replacement and safety cable upgrade to fix the first door, and the drive chain maintenance on the second door. Throughout, Urbano was organized, efficient, and thorough. He walked me through his work, gave me tips on maintenance, then prepared and processed the necessary paperwork. In all, from driving up to departing, the service appointment took about 2 hours. The doors work better than ever before. We will definitely use them again!

technician was prompt, punctual and professional. Diagnosed the problem as a broken limit switch. Door operates better than ever and quietly as well. Another well known national company wanted to charge me about $700 to replace the unit which they said needed a new transmitter. So these folks are outstanding in my mind.

They showed me a couple of maintenance tricks. The trip charge was $20 and I don't remember what the charge was the first time they came out. They did come right away.

Outstanding service. The problem appeared to be a fairly expensive electric eye system. The technician discovered it was instead a broken wire. He fixed the wire at a reasonable service charge. He arrived on the morning of the call and the repair was accomplished before noon. My previous experience with another company was awful. I called ABC Doors, explaining that a spring had broken and I couldn't get the garage door to stay open and they were able to send a technician out to fix the door within two hours. Nelson called about half an hour before he arrived at my home. I don't know how they train their techs, but every single one we've had come out has been prompt, professional, courteous, thoughtful and goes well beyond the standard service call. Our ground moves around a lot so we have had them out a few times to re-align the tracks and contact lights for our garage doors. They always come promptly (has consistently been the same day I called) and their techs take the time to show me how it all works, even activating features I didn't know I had. They are a dependable and pleasant company to do business with.

Very good! I went to the office to pick out an opener, (thinking I needed the biggest one) and 2 days later they came out. Nelson the tech was really helpful in explaining all about how the mechanism works. We discussed differences between the bigger powered one vs. smaller one and decided the bigger, more expensive one was really not necessary, the smaller one would work just fine, which he had one on the truck. He helped me save money...now that is real customer service. I had just purchased one from a "big box store" and they never showed up after the initial visit to install it, claiming more work had to be done. I ended up with a better price, guarantee and experience from ABC. I give ABC and Nelson a big thumbs up!

Richard came on-time, carefully evaluated the problem, and fixed the issues in a steady and studied manner.

They were very on top of it. He was able to figure out immediately what was wrong.

They did a good job and were professional and competent. The doors were out of balance, uneven, and shuttering. The doors are now running smoothly.

Excellent. Very pleased. Troubleshot the problem and suggested a very cost effective solution. Implemented the solution within one hour.

I called in the morning for an appointment and was scheduled for between noon and 3:00p. Operator and scheduling rep were good. Technician called first before heading over, explained what he would be doing, and completed the work in good time and to my satisfaction. However, tech had on very worn clothing with missing buttons and paint splatters, no logo or insignia showing who he represented. I would have liked him to be dressed in company uniform. Truck had a lot of company signage on it, so I assume tech was an employee and not a 3rd party.

AWESOME! I found ABC on angieslist and called them this morning. Within an hour they came out, replaced the battery and serviced the opener. And they did it all while I was at work. I gave them the garage door opener code and my credit card number because I couldnt get home. They called me when the job was done. Some people might be nervous about giving out the door opener code but, with all the positive reviews on angieslist, I wasnt at all nervous. All contractors should be so easy to work with!!

Rodolfo was great. He was on-time, figured out the problem quickly, and fixed what had been a very frustrating problem. I would definitely use ABC Doors again.
