They were early and were very professional. They wrapped everything, loaded, and unloaded in a very timely manner. I was very impressed.

Service, work, and team were excellent! Could not have asked for a better moving experience! The 3-man team was prompt, professional, and incredibly efficient. What they did in 4 hours would have taken days for us to do on our own. Disassembled and reassembled when necessary; wrapped everything carefully. No damage done to any of our things. Would highly recommend to anyone/everyone!! Thank you!

Excellent. Even with the 45 minute commute, all items were moved out and in, in about 2.5 hours.

I thought they were very good. Very reasonable, tidy, and efficient. They did their job. They didn't waste any time. We would use them again. They asked us exactly where we wanted things. They weren't disrespectful with our things. We have had movers before that were lazy. These guys were not lazy, they got to it. They did a great job.

The guys that showed up were awesome! Not only were they professional and courteous, they moved all of my stuff from my apartment to the storage until in an hour and ten minutes. They wrapped everything carefully and there wasnot any damage to any of my furniture. I would recommend them to everyone! I will be using them again.

Everything went fine. The team arrived a few minutes early and worked diligently for nearly 8 hours. They did a great job trying to find everything into the truck, which I appreciated. Originally there was a dispute regarding a coupon but the company called me back and handled it appropriately by honoring the advertised coupon.

I wanted to let all here know that the move went excellent. All the 3 movers were awesome, punctual, polite and never made feel stressed, which usually is part of moving. I have moved few states over past few years & worked with multiple movers but no mover matched. Awesome is the word ! Would highly recommend !! Thank you !!

They have moved me twice and they have been excellent. I used them again because I was happy with them the first time and they were just as good this time. They took care of my stuff and got everything moved in. I think they had three people to come and help me move. I think it took them two or three hours to move me, it wasn't very long,. Of course they were just moving me into an apartment. I have been happy with them. They took good care of my stuff and nothing got broken during the experience. They did their job quickly and did a good job. I like the way they wrapped some of my stuff before they moved them. I was just real happy with them.

Great! Team was very fast and efficient. Pleasant to work with. Had one issue about company requesting us to move our plasma tvs ourselves, but may have been miscommunication.

Movers showed up on time but were super slow. I didn't have much furniture since I donated much furniture beforehand. They didn't use padding on the carpet and the dolly messed up the carpet with black tracks. When we moved to our new house we requested that they put booties on to not damage or dirty our new floors but they continued to move at snail speed. Called the supervisor to complain and ask what was going on and I received no call back. I called back and his attitude was nasty and he acted like he really didn't care I have used other movers before and have never had this experience. I would not recommend this company

Amazing, professional and quick! Will definitely use again!

The movers were on time and professional. They took good care of my furniture and protected the floors from damage. The prices were fair and they worked with me on the timeframe. I hired them again when I moved to my new place.

I had a three man crew for three hours and they got it all done with 10 minutes to spare! They were fast even though I was a bit disorganized and got abode 98% of what was ready to go (a couple of boxes not closed in a spare room and I forgot to ask for wardrobe boxes when I booked, so none of that went). I appreciate that they used GPS to find the location and not rely on following me in Houston traffic. At unload, they moved quickly and we're done before I knew it. They placed the furniture where requested and boxes with necessities in easy reach. My only "that ****** me off" moment was when I realized they had not assembled the bed correctly. Instead of telling me the wood screws were missing or even ask if I had any, they just placed the wood support on the side rails. And I know they knew they needed wood screws because not only did i find the wood screws at the old place in a wad of tape, they left their screwdriver there as well, so someone unscrewed them but didn't bother to even tell me the screws were lost. The next day I had to move the king mattress and box spring, I had to improvise on hardware. However, like I said, fast friendly and efficient for an awesome price.

They quoted a reasonable price, and the first crew showed up on time. They were slower to get things done than we had expected from professional movers. When we noticed the job was not going to get done in the same day with the first crew I had to ask for a second to be brought in. The second crew was much faster at getting things done. After everything I had a small ding in a wall in the old home, I was over charged 2 hrs, and they misplaced an item that I had to call them to retrieve. They were responsive to my request, and all was resolved but the over charge (my fault for not pushing the issue).

They were a little late, but packed everything exceptionally well. Nothing was broken. Very fair price.

The booking process was okay. Our closing date was changed at the last minute and when I called to cancel, it did not go over well. Unfortunately I had no control over the closing date being changed and I did notify them first thing when I found out. Once I had the OFFICIAL closing date I called again to see if there was availability and there was. We ended up going with A-1 Movers because of their availability, price and the Angie's list reviews. The movers showed up on time. Everything was done in a timely manner. One of our dresser drawers was damaged and the landing at the top of the stairs were damaged. I think that is to be expected. What wasn't nice was the movers smoking while moving our belongings, and in the truck with our belongings. I am pretty peeved about the smoking, but if you don't have a problem with that I would reccommend this company.

My movers were a team of 3 (one lead and two helpers). They showed up on time. The move took approximately 3 hours to load the truck and 3 hours to unload the truck. They were so careful with my belongings. They didn't scratch any furniture or damage any walls in my new home. There was a slight snag with the plastic they use to wrap up furniture - there wasn't any on the truck - so they gave me $20 to run out and buy some at Home Depot. In the end, they didn't charge me for the plastic (normally there would be a fee) since I helped. It's so scary to pick a random company to move all of your worldly possessions but I took a chance by reading reviews here on Angie's List. In the end, it paid off. I would definitely hire them again for another move. I think they did a great job and were complete professionals.

I never had used a moving company before and from the first call to the end of the process was excellent. I spoke with Buddy and he not only helped with the setup but he gave me great advice on where to eat some great gumbo in Katy, Tx. Junior was the team supervisor and showed up promptly on time and his team was very professional and polite. They got everything loaded in a timely matter and unloaded the same. I will most definitely use this company again and especially because they are affordable and very professional.

The 3-person crew arrived at 9:00 on the dot and got right to work. The contract was hourly and those guys really hustled. They were extremely courteous and professional. The truck was loaded in 1.5 hours and their part was complete after a total of 3.5 hours. This was, by far, the best experience I've ever had with a moving company and I highly recommend them.

The guys were nice and very helpful. They did a good job of loading the things for the 800 mile trip at the front and the things that had to come off early toward the back. We had some extremely rough roads on the trip but everything was still in place when we arrived with no damage. The crew we had really was good.

They were amazing. They moved everything in two trips and it took about 11 hours. They worked continuously and hard-I was exhausted watching them. They were friendly and professional the entire time. They took good care of our belongings and were sure to identify preexisting issues with our furniture before moving items. I will never move without movers again and I will definitely use A-1 if I ever have to move again.

Fantastic job. They came right on time. It was a crew of 3 that all worked together great. Very personable and hardworking. I will definitely use them again when I need to finally move as well as refer others to them. My only suggestion is that they should invest in a card swiper to attach to their phone for the CC instead of putting it on paper. I called in my CC over the phone.
