3 Men Movers

They never showed up. We waited for quite a while for them and when we ended up calling them, they said the guys had been backed up from another move. We sat and waited for hours and then we had to finally go rent a truck and do the move ourselves. It was an inconvenience because I was on a time schedule to have my belongings out of the warehouse. We were really unhappy with the whole situation because we wasted a lot of time just waiting for them.

They did a good job of moving the refrigerators, however they broke the grill on the bottom of one refrigerator and lost the grill on the other refrigerator. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The original 3 men movers were very reliable and professional. They even moved a heavy piano downstairs and also a big free-standing bar for us. The guys also carefully wrapped everything in plastic wrap so it would not be damaged or scratched. We paid them by the hour and not by the mileage, gas or amount of stuff that we had. We were very satisfied with our experience with the company.

Truck and men arrived slightly late due to heavy rain but they did call to say they would be late. They assessed the extent of the 'move' and advised it may take two trips which we knew ahead of time. From there on they worked efficiently and professionally. Furniture was wrapped. Nothing was damaged or broken. Furniture and boxes were placed in correct rooms. Total move time was 9 hours.

We asked to be the second move of the day, so we really had no idea when they would be there. In calling to check, the office didnt seem to have any way of letting us know an approximate time. In the future, I would choose the first move, even though it is at 7:00 a.m. Once there though (they arrived at 2:45 p.m.), Jose Gomez and his crew of 2 were very fast and professional. They wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets and plastic, were very careful carrying the furniture, not to damage either the furniture or the walls. Followed us to the new location, moved quickly and efficiently to unload, and finished in 4 1/2 hours.

Easy scheduling; follow-up call to confirm moving date and time; the men were great who did my move. I would use again and highly recommend.

Overall, I was very pleased with the work. The crew was about 15-20 minutes late for a 7 a.m start but called to notify me. They arrived in a 24 truck and had to do two full loads to make the move. They worked non-stop from 7:45 a.m. until about 5:30 p.m. They were careful not too bag the walls as well.

Moved residence. The team arrived on time, handle items with care, and followed their guidelines throughout the move. The team moved a three bedroom home and garage within 4.5 hours. The team moved an old family bedroom set, washer dryer set, and fridge with freezer. I would recommend that the team be more attentive in re-assembling items for instance a platform bed was put in place but missing the anchoring screws. Another example, the old bedroom set required two movers to pack out but one attempted to re-assemble it. This did result in dropping a mirror fortunately it did not break.

These guys were awesome. They worked from start to finish and got it done as quickly as they possibly could have. They didn't break or scratch a thing and they even disassembled and reassembled a desk that wouldn't quite fit up the stairs. I believe the lead guy's name was Jose Garcia. Ask for him! They charge by the hour rather than all that other crap other movers charge for and believe me, they did not drag their heels! We tipped 'em good! :-)

If you want quick and cheap, this company is probably a good fit for you. However, if you want a more professional experience then you should look elsewhere. The moving crew arrived about 15 minutes early, and the packing crew was here about 10 minutes later. We walked through the house and discussed what was being moved that day. The (moving) supervisor advised me that I should have had the house packed the day before (which would have been nice to know), but that they could probably work around it. Now the people working on my packing and moving were nice, and I'm sure their hearts were in the right place, but they were not at all professional. For instance, they moved all of my dressers, chests, et cetera without packing the contents. They merely put plastic wrap around the drawers and moved them that way. This caused quite a mess, and actually broke one of the drawers. Also, the packers used pillows and heir loom quilts as packing material. I could go on, but you get the gist.

Eduardo and the crew were amazing. They arrived early and finished the move quickly. Very courteous and professional. They were so careful with everything and wrapped furniture in plastic wrap protection.

The company told me that each team only did two moves per day, and that we would be the second move, with the team arriving between noon and 3:00 PM. At 10:00 AM, the movers called to say their SECOND stop was taking longer than expected and that they wouldn't be able to move our belongings until after 6:00 PM. I was not comfortable leaving my belongings in the moving van alone, on the street, after dark with no security. They offered to move in two steps, but would charge another truck fee. We ended up canceling their service and finding another mover.

At first only three showed up. There was some communication difficulty as the crew chief spoke limited English. I told him I specifically asked for four, and I was paying an extra cost. By the time they picked up the appliances and arrived at my house, the fourth guy showed up. Getting a 26 cubic ft. stainless fridge up a narrow staircase with a 180 degree turn without using a dolly and without damaging the floor is not easy. It took them almost two hours. At times it seemed like it was not going to happen, but they never gave up and were very persistent. Eventually, they removed the doors, figured out how to navigate the turn, and did it without any damage to the floor. They were stocked with appropriate materials to protect the floor and the fridge. Getting the washer and dryer to the third floor was a piece of cake for them.

They did an outstanding job. They came right when expected and did a great job protecting the floors while they were moving. They moved everything without incident and worked very fast, keeping the time under 2 hours.

The crew was scheduled to arrive at 8:00 am. Shortly after 8:00 am the building concierge called me to tell me the crew had arrived. I took them upstairs and they inspected all items that had to be moved from the 2 units. At that time they did not mention anything that could not be moved. The crew began work, but was not very organized or efficient. This led to them taking longer than expected to move out the items. At one point they said they would not move our TVs. I argued with them but Enrique and his crew would not budge. Then about 2 pm they began saying they couldn't finish the move that day.(It was going to require a second trip) I called the office for help but to no avail. Therefore, I had to take off on Monday to have another crew come out with another trip charge to finish the job. This crew was more professional than the first and worked much faster although they had already performed a move in the morning. They finished the move by 6 pm.

They arrived promptly; worked quickly. A glass table top was broken when they dropped something on top of it. The mover said they would fix it and return it. I called the office and inquired about the table. The receptionist said she'd check on the status. Six days later, I called and was told the driver had not called back. Later that day, I was told that the driver would call me. I did not hear from him, so I called a few more times over the next week. I left 2 messages for the manager, but received no return call. Two months after the move, I was told the driver would call me immediately. The driver called and said he'd bring it that day. He did not. A week later, I spoke to the manager and was told I needed to file a claim with her, that it was my fault for letting the driver fix the table, and that she had no knowledge of the incident since the report from the move was in accounting. I finally got the table back, but I didn't appreciate the manager's response.

Selected this company because it is highly rated in Houston Angies List, 48 reports rated A. They handle moves in Houston, San Antonio and Austin. The truck and crew we used was based out of Austin. They lived up to their reputation. On time, courteous and careful in packing and padding breakables. Price was reasonable for per hour labor and trip charge. Ask for Wolf, his crew is the one you want.

Very smooth. They are calm, efficient and courteous. They are careful to use blankets and shrink wrap on delicate items. Obviously experienced in satisfying customers as their ratings would indicate. Wolf is the man you ask for, especially if you are going to or from Austin.

We have moved 6 times in 8 years. Nearly every experience was awful (lost items, delivery delays, no-shows, price jack-ups, etc), even with national, name-brand companies. This time, we got a referral from our Realtor. She suggested this mover, whom she had used herself. We used the team of Jose (Pepe) Alvarez, whom she recommended. They were just fabulous. Arrived on-time, were very courteous and careful with our items, and finished the job much earlier than we had anticipated. The company has a very fair pricing structure for local moves.

They were great. Luis called to confirm that morning and they arrived a few minutes early. They worked very, very fast. I was amazed that they had me all moved so early in the day. At the new house, I had newly refinished wood floors that I was worried about. They went out of their way to make sure no possible damage could happen. Including putting mats down and holding the furniture so we could put felt on the bottom of everything before it went into any of the rooms. Overall, I was very impressed. Luis and his team were polite, friendly, and took extra care with all my things; and they completed the move quickly.

The experience was very positive. The company was up front about the cost, so there were no surprises. We wrapped most of the items in plastic wrap before the movers got there so there was very little prep work they had to do. They showed up right on time and were gone after two and a half hours.

The movers were fast, friendly, and affordable. Best price quote. I moved from my apartment to my house in Katy, had everything loaded and unloaded in two hours! No complaints.

They were on time and very professional. They wrapped everything up and were very careful. The pick-up and delivery was very quick.

This move went very well. Although delayed by an accident, the movers called and let me know they were delayed. All worked very hard and finished the move in 5 hours. Having had national firms move us several times, these guys were the most professional and hardest workers I have seen.

3 Men Movers showed up on time, in full force, with a working supervisor and two associates. They unloaded our truck in a little less than 2 hours. They did not damage any of our items. They were respectful and courteous. They did not take any breaks and were constantly on the move from the time they arrived. We had them bring about 1/2 of the boxes into the house, & they placed them in the correct rooms without having to be directed more than once. The other items that were assigned to the garage were neatly stacked up. It was 95 degrees on the day of unloading, and they never complained. I would use their service again and certainly recommend them to anyone who needs a quality loading or unloading company to deal with.
