3 Men Movers

We had Alam and his crew Johnathan and Carlos helping us move. Wow, just wow. They were super kind and professional. They did not start the clock until they were fully ready to begin packing the truck. They worked extremely hard for 7 hours straight. We had some really heavy furniture on the 2nd story. They took it down a curved staircase. Everything went well. We had to pack a storage unit and they filled every inch of the unit so we could get everything in. We could not have been more thankful for their hard work.

The experience was horrible, and I’m a repeat customer. The movers did not move all of my things, they did not properly connect the washer causing my kitchen to flood, the water damaged my new floors, it took several calls to connect with a leader to which they basically said this wasn’t their problem and the “manager” used a tone that was condescending. I would use a company that cares about repeat customers. Not this one, who offers the same kind of “personal experience” and Burger King.

Wow! Dora, Gigi and Yolanda packed my crystals glasses, Haviland china treasured tea service, cups and saucers. They are EXPERT packers. I don't know how they managed to pack all that they did in the short amount of time they were there...but, they did! I was astonished at how fast this job went. It would have taken me, alone, days to get tis done. I really appreciated that service and their pleasant demeanor. They are not only hard working people but very sweet too! Thank you Dora, Gigi and Yolanda for your help! TF

After 30 years in the Austin area, I decided to move away from the traffic, rising prices & property taxes, and chaos to a town about 50 miles away. After learning that the big names wanted thousands of dollars for a short move, I selected 3 Men Movers. Initially, they were going to just load a UHaul but when UH was unable to produce the truck, the day before the move, I upgraded 3MM to do the full move. They arrived at 7am, as agreed and Eduardo and I looked through what I was going to move. We talked about some ideas I'd had about using the wood shelves (see image) as flooring so it wouldn't take up valuable space and other things I'd planned to do when I was going to be using the UHaul. He didn't reply to any of my suggestions. He had me sign the agreement and got his very young guys, who didn't speak English, to work. They'd taken a fair bit out when I was notified that the lumber in my garage could not be moved. They also pointed out that things in bags couldn't be transported. I'd kept a number of blankets, towels, etc... in bags to use as filler/padding but was prepared to toss them in the back of my car so that wasn't a big deal. The lumber was the issue. As it wasn't precluded on their website AND I'd shown it to him before they started loading, I had a problem with the way he'd had me sign the contract knowing that he was going to disallow it afterwards. That seems like a bait and switch tactic. I spoke to Yeffrey at their offices who reaffirmed Eduardo's position citing safety concerns. I didn't agree since the lumber could have been used as flooring as I'd suggested or tied together using rope, web straps, etc... to ensure it couldn't slide or fly around the truck's interior but they weren't interested in finding a resolution. After all, they already had my $234 trip fee just to show up at the house. If I'd known about the lumber issue, if it had been listed on their web site, if the person I spoke to originally who asked about what I'd be moving had told me that my lumber would be an issue, I could have saved the fee because I wouldn't have hired them in the first place. Ultimately, it appears that they are ok with taking my money but not in doing the job as they latched onto excuses rather than finding solutions. They got two stars because they did show up on time and that's important.

It was stress free and we didn't have to lift a thing. They put everything where we wanted it. They even put our concrete fountain in our outdoor kitchen area for us and all together the 3 parts probably weigh 750 lbs. Huge shout out to 3 men movers. Thank you guys so much for helping us get our home setup!!

On august 27th a 3 men movers truck hit part of a tree planted on the city of Houston property in front of my house in between the sidewalk and street. The hit the tree near the trunk and broke a large branch causing it to rest on some utility lines running across the street. The part of the tree was in danger of completely breaking and causing injury to a person or damage to vehicles. The company did not let me know of the incident at all and i was home all day. I noticed it later and called the company. The crew acknowledge that they had broken the tree but was told by the person who they were moving not to worry about it. I sent pictures to the company and got the tree trimmed the next day before it broke completely. I was then asked to send an invoice, which i did. I was then told the issue would be resolved by Tuesday Sept 7th. I did not hear back so I sent several email. I finally got a response on Thursday Sept 9th. I was told that my tree was too low and they were responsible, in spite of the fact that the limb was above the utility lines. If they are not willing to take responsibility for their actions and pay of a small tree trimming bill, i can only imagine how difficult it would be to get a claim settled for property damaged in a move.

Awful. Brand new appliances and furniture were scratched, dented, and dirty. The inside of the truck must have been filthy! Furniture was routinely slid on the vinyl floor without care. Two of the three couldn't speak or read English, so the marked boxes were moved randomly within the home with several left in the garage! We had to move the boxes again to the rooms they belonged in. They bumped and scratched the door moving the washer and dryer, and the laundry room baseboard had heel marks from where they pushed themselves off it. Oh, and when they parked their truck in the driveways, they cared more about the slant of their ramp than they did about blocking traffic. I mentioned it, but the driver didn't care. It was so bad at the destination that delivery trucks, UPS and FedEx, couldn't get past them. I hope our new neighbors don't blame us for not receiving their packages! We don't understand why they are recommended so well. Maybe it's the luck of the draw as to the crew you get. In comparison, the last movers we had were 100% better in every aspect and didn't cost any more than 3 Men Movers. Best of luck to you if you choose this outfit!

We hired three men movers to help us with packing and moving in town. Their service/scheduling center was very responsive and flexible, and both the packing crew and the movers were on time, efficient and professional. The moving crew in particular were outstanding - they worked tirelessly to not only move us out of our house but to empty nearly two storage rooms of stuff into our new home. I had no expectation we could have accomplished so much in one day. I highly recommend them.

Everything went as planned and discussed , prior to booking. While the move took longer than I initially anticipated, all items were carefully wrapped, disassembled, moved, and reassembled in a timely manner. You might find a cheaper rate, but if you care about the items you move from your old place to your new, you'll want to go with 3 Men Movers.

I used this company twice in 2018. The first time they were great. The second time (different crew) they were sloppy and did not protect furniture (especially bedding) properly. The first crew were very communicative, the second crew seemed somewhat surly and indifferent to being there. This may not be a typical experience, and I don't know if their crews are contractors or employees. But at a minimum I would advise learning about your crew in advance, and make sure you don't get the sloppy one.

They were really good. Professional, polite, and efficient. A pleasure to work with.

Maurice and his team called us when they were on their way. They were on time and they understood the detailed instructions we provided and they proceeded to carefully move everything. They did an outstanding job. We will hire them again.

They were on time and very professional. Things were handled with great care. Their pricing was great. I definitely rehire this company.

The crew arrived promptly as promised and were very friendly and ready to load. They were careful with my furniture and respected my home. They loaded up quickly and arrived at the new destination quickly. The crew chief, Ivan, was extra helpful and found hardware for us to attach a headboard to the bed frame, as we didn't have any. That was extra service above and beyond and I would hire 3 Men Movers again any day.

Ernesto and his crew arrived about 10 minutes before scheduled. They worked very hard, and took care to make sure our possessions were loaded into the truck so no damage would occur. He was worried that the truck might be too small, and he was right. Without the crew’s efforts to pack everything efficiently, we would have needed to make arrangements for a few things left behind. The crew put everything into whatever room I requested. They were very professional and courteous.

Movers showed up promptly at 7a.m. and immediately went to work. Even though we were moving to a location a mile away they wrapped and padded everything that needed it. The men worked efficiently. The total move took between 6-7 hours - loading at old location, stopping at a storage unit to pick up a few more items, going to the new location, and unloading. I expected at least 8 hours, maybe more. They barely took any breaks, even with the temperature well into the 90s by noon. The crew was cheerful the entire time. They didn't mind me working around them, packing some things into my own car. They probably aren't the cheapest movers, but they are worth the money.

This company was wonderful from start to finish. Our household has moved a number of times using everything from DIY rental trucks to large nationwide moving companies and have found that no move is completely stress-free. But 3 Men Movers has come close. They were very helpful with adjusting my schedule when change was needed. Everyone from the scheduler, to the packing crew and the moving crew was courteous and professional. The packers were patient with my disarray and still managed to get their work done efficiently; and the movers' shrink-wrapping, loading and eventual unloading was done so much faster than I had expected. And when it came time to pay, I felt their charges were very reasonable. I would gladly refer anyone to 3 Men Movers, with rave reviews!

A team of 3 (Junior, Jose, Felipe) arrived a few minutes before their scheduled 8 am. We had just had new wood floors installed and refinished and wanted to make sure the movers would be careful. They were VERY cautious--rolling out a thick mat at the entry and throughout the rooms and hallways--and they made sure not to touch the newly painted walls and door frames , too. They were efficient and careful, asking questions during the move to make sure everything was in its proper place. And when I changed my mind and asked them to move something to another room, they did it with a smile. What a great team! Would surely recommend them and hire them again!

Hands down one of the best moving experiences I've ever had. We moved from a rental property back to our house that had flooded during hurricane Harvey. We had to reschedule a couple times and they worked with us to accommodate our schedule. Friendly, professional-looking and hard working crew who took great care with our belongings and professionally wrapped furniture and anything fragile with moving blankets and plastic wrap. You pay them by the hour so we had as many personal effects boxed up already. They worked fast and efficiently, no damage on anything. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Excellent. I would highly recommend 3 Men Movers. They wrapped and protected every piece of furniture. The guys were friendly courteous and fast. They assembled our bed when they moved it in.

Great - we hired 2 trucks and they were very prompt. They loaded and unloaded very quickly with no damage. The entire move including a 30 minute drive was done in 5 hours.

They are outstanding, I have used them twice. I am going to be using them again November 1st. Price was very reasonable. A mirror in my curio got broken, it was replaced immediately.
