3 Men Movers

I was promised a 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM arrival and took the day off to coordinate the move. The crew didn't show by 9:20 AM. I called the office and was dealt with very rudely. The crew showed at 3:00 PM. The crew was very professional and worked hard, but the move took 6 hours. Had this been the first move of the day I feel my boxes would have been delivered to the right floors and the move would have taken less time.

The packing and move was flawless. The packers were so very careful and questioned how fragile items were before wrapping. The movers were very professional and considerate. And took care not to damage the walls or flooring.

The packers were prompt and efficient and very responsive to working on my priorities. I was very pleased with their professionalism and speed. The next day, the movers came to load up and move us. Before they came, there were very informative about what we needed to do make things run smoothly, like disconnecting the washing machine. There were no surprises and my husband and I were quite happy to have them come back since we already knew they were excellent movers from our previous business with them.

From first contact the experience was fantastic. The phone assistant was very polite and helpful. Not knowing what to expect with regards to timing, they were able to move me next day, which was a pleasant surprise given it was perfect for our schedule. The company then followed up with an email to confirm the details of the move and another email with the photo of the move leader coming to our home the next day. The next day he called on the morning with the time to expect him at the house. They showed up right on schedule and were very careful during packing, moving and unpacking. The whole process took almost 5 hours. For their helpfulness during scheduling, punctuality, professionalism, and careful handling of our furniture and items I rate them A+ and would not hesitate to recommend and use them again.

Everything went very smoothly. No surprises, no hidden costs, and everyone was punctual and efficient and polite. And every aspect of the work was well done. No broken items, etc. A very positive experience.

AMAZING! Moises and his team contacted me by e-mail and phone a couple of days before to move to see if I had questions. He then contacted me the morning of the move to make sure everything was ok as it had rained all night the night before. They were early, went above and beyond to make this easy. There were super efficient with the time. As a matter of fact, I couldn't believe how quickly they moved everything-- taking beds apart, wrapping furniture and securing boxes. I will use them again and will request Moises. FYI-- 3 Men Movers gives a discount on Tuesdays!

They showed up 10 minutes early (and didn't charge me for them). Worked hard and quickly, were very polite, helped disassemble and reassemble, didn't break anything and didn't charge me for 5 more minutes on the end. What else can you ask for, really. Would hire again.

The job took quite a bit longer than they anticipated but the movers took this in stride. They were excellent. i would not hesitate to recommend. I don't have enough kind words to describe them. The packing services were equally impressive. The total cost was half of what the big name movers quoted me.

They worked quickly and well as a team. I needed to add a stop to pick up items from another location and they did not complain. Assisted with items from second location that weren't packed correctly. Only negatives were they nicked the baseboard in the hallway of my new house and had to point out that they didn't start on the hour and not to charge for the 15 minutes not used which they agreed to.

I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Worst experience of my life. They overcharged. They broke stuff. Held stuff for ransom, everything. It was a pitiful shame. For a 5 mile move. First of all, they came by with a truck that was too small for a four bedroom house. They came by with a 26 ft. truck. Actually I had to end up leaving some stuff at my old house because they couldn't get it on the truck. Then they charged me for storing it. They charged me for delivering. They broke some stuff and they didn't fix it. And like I said, they were exorbitantly overpriced for a move that was only about 5 or 6 miles in distance. They had to keep my furniture for like a week while I closed on the house and they kind of took advantage of the situation. Then they came and delivered the furniture and delivered half of it one night and I had to pay for the delivery of the second set of furniture. The rest of my furniture the next day. The only reason I didn't use another company was because these were the only people that had trucks available on that day and I had to be out of the house by that day. I called other people but they were over booked so I needed to be out of my house that day and that's the reason I ended up using these people. Some of the guys were actually okay, but it was a couple of them that were, you could just tell that they weren't enthused about doing the job. I lodged a complaint with them and they had to wind fixing, actually they broke a dresser, and that the only thing that they fixed but I found throughout the house that they broke other items that were not broken when they showed up. But like I say lesson learned. I just know not to use these people ever again.

Very smooth and in a timely manner. Used this company before have excellent staff, crew, and service. Would recommend for a move and my team of movers was headed up by Juan.

I have used 3 Men Movers three times with my past moves. They are very quick and efficient. The last move I was on a budget and informed the movers of such, the mover made sure not to exceed the time limit to keep me right at or under my budget. I will always use them for any of my moving needs in the future.

The movers arrived early, we're very efficient and even though I forgot a room they quickly moved everything no problem. The only complaint, my entertainment center table sustained minor damage in the move and due to their disclaimer, it wasn't covered.

Overall very well. Nothing significant to mention.

The move went very smoothly until the movers were unable to get the sofa up the interior stairway. It is a townhome arrangement with stairs to the apartment above the garage. The movers were trying every way they could to get the sofa inside. I finally told them we could just take it back to our house (only 10 minutes away). They said they were going to try one more thing. IT WORKED! They move their truck underneath the upstairs balcony. Lifted the loading deck to its maximum, turned the sofa on end and pushed it up to the other guy waiting on the balcony. The other guys ran upstairs and pulled it over the balcony and into the living room. It was amazing. They went over and beyond what was expected. The movers were amazing. Although they were a still more expensive than some others I had looked at, their reviews convinced me and I am so glad I chose this company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was the most professional crew that I have ever dealt with. They even did not complain once about the new apartment being on the third floor and the stairs being tighter than normal apartment stairs. I am definitely planning on hiring them again if I ever have to move. Also, while the price is higher than others, the quality of work that you get is worth the price.

I wish I could remember which crew moved us, but I can't. It has been a long time but this review really needs to be available to people considering this business. I had used this company in the past for two previous moves and had a relatively good experience so I used them again for this move. The movers showed up pretty much on time and seemed friendly enough. However, they were painfully slow. They even had a 4th guy in their crew that day who looked about 15 and it took SO long to move us (we didn't even have a lot of stuff) which increased the cost of our move. They scuffed the walls of our townhouse taking the furniture upstairs and there were some minor scratches to some of our furniture. But since it was minor I didn't complain to them about it. But the worst of it was when they disconnected our refrigerator from the old house, they left the water on and the wall and room behind the kitchen flooded. We were completely unaware of this until the day after it happened so you can imagine how bad it was. When I called the company to complain, the woman who answered was smug and very unprofessional, and was basically laughing as she told me good luck with having any recourse "because you signed the waiver". The company made absolutely no attempt to make this right. I ended up losing my whole security deposit on the old place because of their negligence. I will NEVER use this company again. Be very careful with these guys.

great. the guys packed and move my stuff within 1/2 a day. They dis-assembled and reassembled my furniture. Nothing was broken. The staff were well dressed and easy to work with.

Excellent. We downsized to smaller home and had a lot of furniture that we haven't sold or given away yet. We had some beds that movers in the past have had trouble taking apart and putting back together. We also had to do the entire move in two moves due to personal circumstances. We had over an hour of travel time each move and used 2 trucks the first move and truck the 2nd time. 3 Men Movers were on time and had a team leader who went over our priorities and a plan for what to move first, during both moves. He made excellent suggestions that ended up saving us move time and travel and $. All of our furniture, including our beds, were moved expertly. Items that had to be taken apart were put back together with no problems. We have moved many times in many different cities and states. This was the best move we have ever experienced! No problems whatsoever. We are still a little in shock!

Poorly. 1. I had to tell 3-men movers in advance over the phone how many containers it would need to carry our household goods. How I am supposed to know how much one of their containers holds? I did not know, and I underestimated. Their containers are not very big. We had to rent a storage unit to store what would not fit in their containers. 2. I told the rep. on the phone that we had packed some things, but that 3-men movers would need to pack a little over half of our belongings. He said no problem. He said they would take care of it. When the movers arrived, they informed us that they don't pack. They had no boxes, no tape. We had to go buy boxes and tape. We then had to pay the movers to wait while we finished packing. 3. I told the rep that we had an upright piano to move. For that, 3-men movers charged us and extra $40.00. Why? The movers did not bring a piano dolly, or any other special equipment. The movers carried the piano. Interestingly, the movers told me that they do not get paid any extra for moving a piano. The movers get sore backs, and 3-men movers get more money. 4. I told the rep on the phone about all of household goods, including, lamps, artwork and dishes. When the movers arrived, they advised me that they do not move glass or ceramics. In other words, at the last minute on the day we vacated the house, we had to make other arrangements to move our lamps, artwork and dishes, etc. 5. The movers scratched our piano, refrigerator, washing machine, clothes dryer, and other items. The movers broke a leg off our sofa. 6. I scheduled the move on the phone. A specific weekday date, a week in advance, was set. 3 men-movers telephoned me 4 days later to tell me that they were overbooked on the scheduled day but that they could move our goods on Saturday. When I said okay, they said they would have to charge me more because it costs more to move on a Saturday. Their mistake, their problem, I agree to change the moving date to accommodate them, and they charge me more! Is that a scam or what? Overall, the movers themselves were good. The personnel with whom I dealt on the telephone were virtually useless. They did not seem to have a clue about what their movers do and don't do, how much one of their containers hold, what items they will and won't carry, what services they provide, and what days are available for moving a week in advance.
