Description of Work: Well, the quote was about $250.00, but ended up being $400.00. they were on time and professional, but did break a bracket to hold the mirrror on the bedroom dresser. A request was made to replace it or refund some monies to cover a new one. We will see how that turns out. The van truck was way too big for a one bedroom apartment. Could've been used to move a three bedroom house instead. Maybe they only have one size. Will use a smaller van next time for closer to original quote price if available.

Description of Work: "Moved my 1 bdrm apartment into a 2 bdrm apartment. It went well, I just felt they were moving rather slowly. Last time I moved the same amount of stuff, it took 3 (not professional movers) guys about 2 hours (and that was with driving 20 min to the new place). I assumed since this is what they did for a living they would be faster, and I only moved one block away, but it still took an extra hour. Maybe because they are paid by the hour? | |They did a good job though. "

Description of Work: They arrived promptly at 8am. Moved a 3 bedroom house and a very heavy concrete statue and plant as well as outdoor items. They took apart and reassembled beds. Exercise equipment wasn't reassembled but I didn't mind as it saved on time. Furniture was carefully wrapped in plastic and blankets. My glass in the gun cabinet got broken but they offered to pay for it or take an hour off their fees. These guys never took a break and worked really hard. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: No matter who the mover is , the price can always be better. Free is best. I don't know what specific comments to make but that hey did a superb job.

Description of Work: Hi I used these guys this weekend to move . They took care if my stuff move things timely and disassembled and reassembled me beds in addition to putting together some other furniture that was too big me for to handle on own. Very good experience

Description of Work: Called 3 days before scheduled move and they were there 1/2 hour before scheduled time. Moved contents of a 1250 sq. ft. home in nothing flat and even moved some existing furnishings around at the other house. Essentially anything I asked them to do, they did without hesitation! Now I call that service!!! I hope never to move again but if I do, they're first and only call on the list.

Description of Work: Raul Garcia was the lead man for my move. Everything went according to plan. They were on time they drove from Spring Branch to Friendswood in rush hour traffic. The guys were very careful with all our belongings and wrapped items that needed to be done. There were no suprises when it came to pay. Straight forward and concise details were given prior to the guys starting to move us. I would highly recommend 3 Men Movers and Raul Garcia to anybody needing a moving company.

Description of Work: Inappropriate! The ring leader of the bunch of guys who came over asked inappropriate questions about how much my rent was and who would be living there with me. He was very pushy! He also scammed me out of about 40 minutes of a fee which they tacked on at the end. They were essentially done in the 3 hours but then halted to a snails pace in order to go over the charge me more. I think it was this hustler who was in charge that told the others to do this. He wanted to buy my appliances, and I think he used the extra fee to pay for these. HeHIasked me to take a reduction in the credit card fee, but I insisted on cash. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Description of Work: Contacted due to the good grades...they arrived to move my home with a 24 ft goose neck trailer. I had a 4 bedroom, 3 bath with formals and they could not get all of my things in the truck. Their solution was to triple the estimate, double the travel time charges, and to go back without me in the 5 pm traffic 5 days after hurricane IKE. Because of the lack of room and space, we loaded the rest of my belongings in the detached garage for me to get the following days. All of my belonging in the garage were stolen in the next 2 days. The renter insurance did not cover the garage, so I am out at least 30K. Now I am very worrying about using Angie's list again. I was quoted that the bill would be $400 and it could be done in one day since I was moving from the south part of Houston to the north. Had I agreed to their "SCAM" I would have paid over $1800. I guess I should have done it. This moving company was the only ones who knew what was in the garage. Stay away from them...they easily forget how to speak English. I am a new widow and once they learned that, I was a sitting duck. Shame on you, someday you will be accountable for what you are doing to people.

Description of Work: The truck was suppose to arrive at 7 am, however there was an error on the worksheet given to the actual movers, and they didn't arrive until 9 am. 3 Men Movers did not charge us the trip fee to compensate. We ended up with 4 men instead of 3. They worked really fast and did an exceptional job! We had them go pick up our refrigerator, washing machine, and dryer at our storage unit. They came back to the house and hooked all three up for us! I can't say enough good things. This is a great company. They took care of us when they made a mistake and had professional men move our belongings with caution.
