Description of Work: More time and attention was given than expected. Very thorough inspection. Noted some problems, but did not try to sell more service. Later was contacted by company to see if we wanted to pursue further service, but was respectful when we declined at this time. Would definitely call this company in the future.

Description of Work: Paid for 2 lbs of Freon for two units. Claimed one unit would not start and would not add Freon to it but would not include that 1 pound Freon to other unit. Wanted to charge 8 plus thousand for new unit. Old Unit has been working all summer now.

+ -1 moreStark Air installed our complete new air conditioning system (inside/outside units) in 1993, and have done all the maintenance ever since then on their Platinum Membership plan. The amount shown ($29.95) is the monthly charge for the service. They have always showed up to do any repairs within a couple of hours and have done every repair at no cost to us. Their workers are invariably courteous, thorough, competent, and very professional.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. It was hot in the attic (August), but the plumber persevered. It also took a little longer than he expected, but at all times he and his assistant were very professional and got the job done. I am very pleased to be able to use my new stove.
Description of Work: Stark Air installed a new gas line for my new stove. They were able to connect to the existing gas line, run it up through the roof, down through the cabinet, and out the side. They removed the old electric stove and connected the new stove.

Description of Work: I called them about a leak and they came out and did a couple of other things but I still have the leak. They said it was a plumbing leak and not air conditioning. They told me that they don't offer plumbing services.

Description of Work: They installed a 2 ton and 5 ton air conditioning unit and removed my old ones. I have a contract for $125 and he comes out 2 times a year.

They have different membership plans which include different benefits like cheaper rates than non-members. Although, I didn t like the fact that starting this year they haven't been wanting to come out on Saturdays, when that is my only time off of work. They said that they have reserved the weekend for emergencies but after complaining they came out on Saturday.

+ -1 moreTechnician arrived on-time. However, he was not knowledgeable about my 17-year-old geothermal heat pump. He checked the parts of the system that he recognized. The technician found these problems: dirt on the motor, small loss of amps in the motor and the overall age of the system. The system was still performing at acceptable levels in regards to the temperature output and the technician recommended that the entire unit be replaced in the near future. The technician helped me schedule a follow-up appointment with a salesman who showed up on time and seemed more knowledgeable about our older system. He told us he would get back to us with an estimate for a complete air conditioner and heating system replacement and never did. This does not seem to be typical of the company's service and quality of work. We have used them in the past to replace our air ducts and were very pleased with the quality of the work.
Description of Work: Air conditioner tune-up on 17 year old geothermal heat pump. Estimate for a new air conditioner and heating system.
