I priced multiple vendors and these folks had the right price and right service and flexibility. I was frankly doubtful they would be able to fit everything in but every promised they made, they kept. Yes there are likely bigger companies out there but big doesn't necessarily mean best. Professional service, fast service and they clean up so well I get to be a hero for my wife because of these guys. Family business and they treat you like that. I rarely ever take the time to write a review but in this case it was warranted. These guys ROCK!

It went very well. I called Rick on a Thursday afternoon explained to him what I needed he provided a quote over the phone and said he could do the work the same day. Since I work during the week Rick said that he was available 7 days a week so we set an appointment for him to come Saturday morning. They showed up when he said he would, completed the job quickly and provided me a quote for some other work to be done in the future. I will definitely hire Rick again and would recommend him to family and friends.

Rick and his workers did a PHENOMENAL job. They arrived on time and worked nonstop until the job was completed. Not only were they professional, but very caring with cost in mind. Rick came and gave an estimate prior to doing the job, explained what the job would entail. and did exactly what he stated he would do. He was very organized, completed the job efficiently and in a timely manner. I plan on referring Junk Services to my family and friends. If needed again I would not hesitate to call. If you are looking for complete satisfaction of a job well done, Rick is your man!

I found Junk Services on Angie's list. I used this company through out my new house building process for 15 months. Rick and his helper are hard workers. Rick is very responsive to my calls and texts, always show up on time. Since Rick was in construction before, he gave me some really good tips on the house building as well. Highly recommend this company.

I texted Rick at 10pm on a Tuesday night after doing an initial walk through of my mother's house and realizing two garbage cans were not going to cut it. Rick responded within 10 minutes, asked a few questions to determine by needs and then adjusted his schedule to get me a large dumpster the very next day. That is the kind of service that all small business owners should emulate! Rick called ahead of time and arrived as scheduled - even offering to help load up anything that was already staged for the dumpster. We agreed on a pickup time and once again Rick arrived on time. He helped load some last minute items into the dumpster. When he realized that the house purging task was even greater than I anticipated and therefore had not entirely finished the "purge", Rick told me I could make a pile in the garage and he would swing back by and pick it up at no charge! Don't waste your time on the large corporate haulers, call Rick, he is honest, dependable and extremely focused on customer service.

Just bought a house, had lots of old carpet, light fixtures and fans , other trash piled up in my garage these guys were amazing from the first contact , they were 10 min early , got everything up and even swept the garage after words! After giving some information and some pictures, I was provided with an estimate. I confirmed the work and we set a time. Sadly, due to too much bad weather the pickup got pushed back a few days. Due to the massive amount of rain and flooding over the past few weeks, we had already discussed the possibility of the delay, so it was expected. Today, I get a text with pictures showing the debris in the trailer and another picture of my yard nice and clean! Payment was made over the phone and everything was completed. The price was a decent price, the work was excellent, and the customer service and communication were all great. Will definitely call back for the next demo project.

Very prompt and efficient. Even cleaned up underneath the old hot tub. Very reasonable price.

I contacted Rick via yelp and he provided me an initial quote of $200 for 2 reclines, 1 love seat and 1 queen bed frame+mattress. I was able to schedule pick via emails for the next day which was convenient. We decided for a pick up in the morning after 10am and he called me at 9:30 that he was on his way and showed up at 10:30 sharp. I decided to keep the bed so he reduced the price for me to $140 which was great! Overall smooth and great experience! Ankur

Rick and his helper did great work. They did everything amazingly quickly and did an excellent job of cleaning up after they removed everything. Rick dissuaded me from making an unwise decision to demoilsh the shed even though he would have benefited financially from my doing so. They filled the dumpster carefully, which meant we paid less than we could have. I have nothing but praise for his services.

I spoke with Rick on the telephone a couple of days before he agreed to meet me at a rental house I was selling. Rick showed up that Sunday morning, on time and ready to go! He helped me out by hauling away 2 large loads of junk and old furniture, and was going to take some items to a local charity. He also helped me move some furniture items from one rental house to another rental house. Rick and his helper had to battle sone on and off rain showers, but managed the situation perfectly! He ended up hauling away a couple loads of junk for me, and I am very happy with his work. I originally had planned to just get a dumpster delivered to the houses's driveway, and throw away all the old items on my own. I am very happy I researched it a little further, and found Junk Services Houston on Angie's list since I ended up really needing the advice that Rick gave me about junk removal and disposal. These guys worked hard and if they were confused about what to do with a particular item, they would ask me instead of just making their own assumptions. Very helpful!!

I cannot recommend Rick's company high enough! He did amazing work. Showed up on time, gave us good advice on a charity to donate useful items to and took the items to them. There is no need to call any other company in Houston to help you. His pricing was fair and they did excellent work. I am a out-of-town property owner that had to move out and prep this house for sale in a single long weekend. Had Junk Services of Houston not shown up we would have been in big trouble. We had a bunch of items that we thought we would have to deal with on our own and he took care of them. He just made the entire process incredibly easy. They even came back on Monday to pick up a few remaining items like the beds we slept in. Since I am no longer from the Houston area I can't take use JSH but I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is needing assistance. I give Rick and Junk Services of Houston 5 out of 4 stars! No point in a lengthy review. Just use them on your job and I am sure you will be happy.

Cleaned out rental home garage. Garage was full of 'junk'; place was extremely clean afterwards. Great rate, professional staff and owner was very nice in confirming appointment. The team was early and quick.

I was a bit apprehensive about how this process was going to be for us. Even though I read so many other glowing reviews, it's difficult to imagine going through all your old memories and stuff to decide what needs to go and what you needs to stay. I imagined my garages still being filled with junk after it was done because I wouldn't be able to make those tough choices. Rick was very punctual (in fact arriving a few minutes early as I recall.) I could tell right away that he was going to be good to work with because he came with a ready smile and started discussing how we could maximize the space in the dumpster by choosing larger, flat items first. Then we got started. We all actually had a good time, laughing while going through everything, joking about why in the world I would have chosen to ever save some of this stuff. We made many difficult choices and Rick was always very respectful and patient with us while we sometimes agonized over some of our kids' stuff they'd grown out of but we still felt attached to. (He even helped me save one of my old leather motorcycle jackets my wife thought I no longer needed. Which she's probably right but as The Fonz would say, "Ay!") Overall the process took 1.5 hours to fill the entire dumpster but it felt like no time at all. Rick packed it up and even volunteered the Angie's List discount since I'd mentioned we found him on here. We are *very* happy with the work performed, the professionalism and honesty. The price he quoted on the phone was precisely the price we paid. We would definitely go straight to him the next time we've accumulated too much stuff to handle. Oh, and now I have my one-car garage finally setup as a workshop!

Rick brought the dumpster and left it way longer than contracted which helped us a lot. We filled it completely and he came and picked up the dumpster and our old junk disappeared! The service was fantastic and very helpful and friendly and we are probably ordering another dumpster to use to finish up cleaning out the house. I highly recommend using him - very professional and could not ask for a better experience.

Very reponsive and very helpful. We thought we needed a dumpster to clean out my elderly parents' house and weren't looking forward to the project but Rick made it much easier on us. He didn't have a dumpster available for drop off on such short notice but explained that he always kept one dumpster on his truck for in & out jobs and said that he'd bring the dumpster over, load it with our trash and haul it away. The cost quoted was $300 for a full dumpster and for an extra $100, he would load the dumpster. We had bagged the trash and stacked it all in the garage but Rick told us we hadn't needed to do that--he would have gathered it up throughout the house and that he prefers it not to be bagged because it's easier to maximize the dumpster load if it's not bagged. Good to know for next time. I'd say we ended up with 30 to 40 contractor bags full of trash for Rick to load and haul away. Very honest and helpful--said we had only about a quarter of a dumpster load and charged us only $100 total when we were expecting a $400 charge. Would definitely use his services again.

I am constructing a house. I had lots of construction trash. This trash had piled up and needed removal very soon ? preferably on a Sunday. I called multiple companies. Rick was available on Sunday and his price was competitive also. He came on Sunday and removed my trash. Very good work.

Rick and his crew were outstanding. They arrived at the site (before I did) and patiently waited. Proceeded to survey the job and got right to work. Started with the garage and quickly removed boxes of junk, papers, old furniture, etc. Efficiently packed and broke down anything they could to make sure their trailer was fully loaded! This was in a two-car garage, with half it fully stacked with junk. Then organized items I wanted to keep and swept the garage. Made a run to dump the first load and came back to clean out the house. I've used other junk services but Rick was outstanding and the pricing very very reasonable. I look forward to using him again - I have an outdoor storage shed and some limbs in the back yard I'd like to make disappear!

The two men were very efficient. Cleared out years of "stuff" in the attic. I set aside what was to be kept in the garage and the remainder was removed. Swept the garage. A job well done.

Showed up on time, very polite and professional. Reasonable rates. Actually ended up referring us to another service due to the particulars of our project. I would definitely use him again and refer him to anyone that needs junk haul off or dumpster rental.

He came when he said he would, and removed assorted items from the back yard, garage and house. I had two bicycles, and he said he would direct those to a man who refurbishes them for kids who could use a bike. He says he tries to find homes for things that are still useful, rather than throwing them in the land fill. He even moved a canoe in my back yard that was blocking my path and making it difficult for me to get some jobs done. He is a keeper!
