The person that came out was professional. We elected at the time not to go ahead with the window purchase. They just gave a quote. They came out right away for the quote. I would have them quote again if needed.

I was extremely pleased with them. The price was substantially less compared to other bids that I received. The service was really prompt as they had a crew out within a day or two to do the work. The people that came out were very courteous and knowledgeable. I was generally very happy with the service.

I am having issues with a couple of windows but they are beyond the warranty. They were quick to do the work. The people were nice to work with and the price was okay.

The cost was reasonable. I thought it would be more for the service. They were very thorough. The lady who answers the phone is very good about organizing to get someone to my home, she was very efficient.

He was punctual and courteous. He clearly knew what he was doing and worked quickly and efficiently. He did not have enough parts to complete the job on the first day, but promised to order the additional parts needed and call when they were available. He called the next week and came out to complete the job. What a pleasure.

It went amazing! The men showed up in the hot Texas sun and worked to replace all of the doors and windows as contracted. The men were very professional in their work and cleaned up any mess their work created. I will always use Lanham for ALL of my window and door needs.

This was years ago, but I remember the service people being professional, and I have seen their trucks in the area. They are reputable and do a good job!

When I called, Jackie was very helpful and pleasant. She answered all my questions and gave me a price and an approximate date they could do the work. After trying several other vendors, I felt that they were the best. I had spoken to the door manufacturer, and they told me the insert itself (with mini-blinds between two panes of glass) would cost $207 if I picked it up and installed it myself. So I felt that the cost from Lanham doors was reasonable. I called back and set up the job for the following week. Nick arrived ten minutes early and got the job done quickly and professionally. He cleaned up everything afterwards. He also answered a question I had about another of our doors. I was very pleased overall.

We were very happy with the service provided by Lanham Window Company! We had a window that had become very foggy and assumed that we'd need to replace the window. When I called Lanham and talked to Jackie, she said that we likely wouldn't have to replace the window frame, but instead we could replace the glass. She sent someone out to see and measure the window (which we didn't have to be home for). From obtaining a quote to having the glass installed, the process went very smoothly. We will definitely use Lanham Window Company again.

This is a local, family owned business and I highly recommend them. They were very responsive, respectful, and on time. The installer even replaced a window sill that had bowed due to water leakage from the old window at no charge. My new windows look great! I'm very pleased.

Excellent fast service Will correct a mismatched window

I got several bids on replacing the glass and found Lanham Glass to be the best fit for us. They were able to come out right a way and give us a quote, the glass was ready in a few days. Every person I had contact with was professional and were able to answer all my questions. The installer came out and was very nice and did a great job, he cleaned everything up and even washed the lower window that we did not replace. The window looks great. I have a couple more windows that will need to be replace soon and I will be using Lanham again.

On Nov. 27 I called Lanham Windows to get a pane of glass replaced. I gave Elizabeth the approx size of the window pane and asked for a quote. She told me $195.00. I mentioned that there was a discount noted on the Angie's List site. She didn't seem to know anything about it so I told her it was 10%. She told me then that the price would be $176.00 with an installation date of Dec. 7. I asked if they could come out any sooner than Dec 7 and she agreed to check and call me back. She told me that she would send me an email confirming the price and existing date. When I returned it, she would take that as my approval and start the order. I got the email a few minutes later but the price was noted as $225.00. After I challenged the amount by email, she sent me another email aplogizing and changing the quote to $176.00. I returned the email agreeing to $176 and Dec. 7. Later that week, I was notified that the installation date was Dec. 4. The installer arrived on time on Dec. 4 and replaced the window pane. As I was paying he asked me to fill out and sign a form asking questions about the installation process and quality of work. Since he had not asked me to inspect the job, I told him that I had better look at the window before I filled it out. All looked good. My issue with the questionaire is that there was no envelope or anything thing else that provided any kind of privacy.

They were very prompt, clean, courteous and knowledgeable and did not mind coming out to measure for only one window. I will definitely use them again in the future. I liked that they are a local company and stand behind their work.

I have referred them to many neighbors. They are family owned and very friendly. They go the extra mile.

I called a couple of companies to get estimates. Lanham was average in cost but superior in overall customer service. All my questions were answered and additional information provided. In speaking with Todd Jones, he gave me realistic expectations on time, cost, and quality. I was proactively offered a discount for finding them on Angie's List. I was made aware someone would come to measure and look at the window but i would not be disturbed. I never knew they had been here. When the gentleman came to do the installation, he was prompt, courteous and neat. He used a drop cloth, moved a couple of chairs and put them back when done. The only thing he missed was on the outside, he didn't put my hose carrier back...no real issue. The window was installed beautifully and sparkling clean! I received a follow up call to ensure my satisfaction. It has been a month, and I just received a hand-written Thank You note from Todd. They don't make 'em like this any more!! I highly recommend this company. Oh, and by the way, my window is guaranteed against, fogging, etc. AGAIN...THANK YOU for great customer service!

I called Lanham windows to give me an estimate to replace all of my windows and install some custom windows in my foyer. I called and made an appointment. The sales rep, Chuck, was very responsive, proffesional, and prompt for his appointment. He had a look at my windows and we discussed a few options I had in regards to my foyer. He was very knowledgeable and had samples that allowed me to see exactly what I would be paying for. I was also concerned about the age of my home and the possibility of there being lead based paint on my current windows. Chuck was able to test for lead paint and told me the results right then. I, unfortunately, have lead paint in my home. This is a scary thought as I have young ones, but Chuck put my mind at ease. He let me know that this is common in older homes and I need not worry. He went on to explain that his company was fully equipped to remove and dispose of the lead. He was then able to write me a full estimate, break out the cost of extras, and even explained their financing options on the spot. Lanham was not the only company I called to give me an estimate on this work, but they were the first to show me real pricing and break outs of that pricing. They were also the only company able to tell me immediatly if lead paint would be an issue. I am not sure at this time if I will be using Lanham to replace my windows, but they are certainly at the top of the list! I highly recommend giving them a call and at least seeing what they have to offer.

The estimator was a little inaccurate, i rechecked some of his measurements after he left and he messed up on the small side, but that wasn't really a worry since someone else came out after I gave them the job to make precise measurements to build the replacements to. I replaced one large window and 3 smaller windows of the same size. Compared to the other quote that I got, their estimate was higher on the large window, but because of the estimators measurement mistake (I'm assuming) they were lower on the 3 small windows, so their overall estimate came out lower. They never once mentioned that the original measurements were wrong and never tried to change their quote, so I did appreciate that. The installer was prompt and very courteous and he replaced the 4 windows in exactly the amount of time that he estimated when I set up the work. He cleaned up after himself very well. Overall I was very satisfied with the work and will be calling them back when I need to replace the remaining windows.

Todd the sales rep was very friendly and worked with me every step of the way in picking out windows to what all would be required to replace them. He was upfront with me on everything to inlcude that the windows had lead paint and that it would required special prep on each window to remove them without causing a hazard to the people in the bldg. The installers worked hard to ensure that all the old windows were removed without causing damage to the brick of the bldg. It took them a couple of hours to do the first window as the windows were made out of steel and would have to be cut out. once they had it figured out, the replacement of the rest of the windows went much quicker and no damage was done to my bldg. The only issue that arose was that Chuck Lanham Jr failed to get the proper permit for replacing the windows. The bldg inspector came out, found that there was not a permit and put a hold on the replacement of the windows. This caused a slow down for a day and the installers had to do the replacement of the rest of the windows in the heat of the day on the side of the bldg that the sun shines on the hottest. I felt sorry for the workers as it was not their fault and I did provide them with fluids to help keep them cool. Over all the experience was good and the windows look and work great. Paul Morgan
