We called this company because of the great reviews on this site. We are glad we did. Everything went smoothly from the time we called for information to the actual installation. Jackie was we rep we spoke to, and she was very helpful with a quote. It was pretty accurate. The total was actually $5.00 less than the quote. We received emails to confirm that someone was going to be sent out to confirm measurements. Someone came a couple days later and arrived 15 minutes before appointment time. We also received a call the day before the install to confirm install appointment as well. Nick arrived 15 minutes after the set time. It wasn't a biggie, but a call to inform us that he would arrive late would've been nice. We instead called the office and were informed that he was on another site and would call us when he was on his way. Not five minutes later did he call to say he was a couple blocks away. Once he arrived he done a fine job of installing and cleaning up. Very professional. We would recommend this company for sure to anyone needing a window.

Overall the job was well done. Price is competitive but not necessarily the lowest, based on my research.

Nick came to change out a broken window pane. He was on time and quick. The window was spotless as was the area around the window when he left. He is very pleasant. My dog wanted him to stay and play. In the above and beyond arena, Nick fished a dead mouse out of my pool and discarded it for me. I'm not good with dead (or alive for that matter) rodents, so he is a hero in my book!

Installation was delayed by rain for a few days but as soon as the skies cleared the installer, Danny arrived ready to go. He protected all entries and work areas inside and out. Not a sliver of glass anywhere on the ground or inside the house. Danny did an amazing job on our windows. Everything was done to perfection and I would highly recommend them to my friends.

I'd give these guys an A but there was one very small thing that sort of rubbed me wrong. I have solar screens on the house and they had to remove them to replace the windows. They replaced only the top piece of glass and when they were done they did a fine job cleaning up after themselves... but he didn't wash the bottom piece of glass. The contrast from the dirty window to the newly installed clean window looked silly and it was a good reason for me to get out and remove all the solar screens so I could hand wash them but for some reason I found it very silly he didn't take an extra 30 seconds per window to just clean the second piece of glass. It would have been such a small gesture but instead it made them come off as a little less sincere. Otherwise, the install was on time and the price was just above the avg pricing I got for the area. I had two other companies slated to come out (neither reviewed here) and neither of them showed up to measure at their designated times. Lanham did a fine job. Be sure to mention the Angie's List coupon - they didn't offer it to me. I called back and they did honor it though.

The replacement went very well. The installers were very courteous and acted professionally.

Was impressed with Chuck when he came to talk to us and gave us the estimate. Very friendly and professional. We hired them based on that first impression and the Angie's List ratings. They weren't the cheapest, but we didn't feel they were overpriced. David was a great installer, really appreciated his attitude, professionalism and workmanship. We've not seen one piece of glass inside or out. He was very careful to not disturb our special finish in the living room when taking out the old windows. I wasn't sure if he could do it, but was pleasantly surprised. There was an issue with the entry door after a delay in getting the door stained and ready for install as planned - when it arrived a few days late, the sidelight was on the wrong side so it had to be reordered. They took responsibility for the error and it was installed the next week. We were having terrible issues with our old door closing properly because of movement from the heat, but David was kind enough to reposition it for us so we could open and close it with ease while we waited on getting the new door. He was also nice enough to do a slight adjustment on our back door, which was already in place. The communication wasn't always good with the office - one day David didn't show up and by late morning I had to call to find out if he was coming - someone in the office had forgotten to call me to let me know he wasn't going to come that day due to the door not being ready until the following week, so he wasn't going to come and finish up the trim work until the door was ready. Another time they failed to call me when David didn't show up because he had an emergency dental appointment. I only found out because I called them. Obviously emergencies happen all the time and I understand that, but it would have been nice to have gotten a call. Fortunately I work from home so it wasn't an inconvenience. There was also a slight communication gap with the door issue. I assumed the office knew about the door being wrong, but since no one followed up with me to let me know when to expect a resolution, I called Chuck later that day but he didn't know anything about it. Not sure who David spoke to about the door being wrong so I was surprised that Chuck seem surprised. Chuck quickly called me back to let me know what their plan was to resolve the problem and get the completed door installed. Again, I thought I would have gotten a call rather than me having to call to find out when to expect the door. All in all, we were very satisfied with the installation of the windows and door - the windows are wonderful and the door came out beautifully. David was a pleasure to work with. Chuck followed up with me yesterday to make sure we were pleased with the windows. I would definitely recommend Lanham. Nothing ever goes perfect, at least not in my experience. f

They were very quick with a quote and were at the house right before the scheduled time.

The windows are great and are guaranteed not to fog up. I wanted to do business with a family owned business as I thought they would stand behind their product.

I am considering replacing my 1970s aluminum house windows in the next year. I plan to call Lanham for an estimate based on the service we received.

The last time they were out was for an estimate only. I decided to postpone the work needed due to finances. I would give them an A rating across the board. They are always professional, helpful and do quality work. I will definitely hire them again.

I contact Lanham Window Co. to replace a window that was broken. One phone call was placed and they had someone onsite (my presence not required) to size the window. Contracts were handled professionally and timely via email and an installation date was set. The installation went seamlessly by an installer that was very professional. I would have given an A+ rating across the board if that was an option; they did a fantastic job.

They showed up on time to give me a quote. Promptly set up an appointment for the replacement of my foggy windows and screens/solar screens for both homes. They arrived on time to do the work, did a terrific job, cleaned up after the job was completed. They took extraordinary care protecting any surrounding areas where they were working, carpet and walls and cleaned the windows before they left. The installers were very, very professional and courteous.

They had a booth at the home and garden show and when I did my research, I was looking for a business that had been in business for a long time and one that had a very good reputation in the community. I did this as we do have other windows that need to be replaced in the future.

They are quick to come and give an estimate and they are quick with the installation. They come when they say they will and they clean up after themselves. We would definitely recommend them.

They were very good with the work that they did and everything worked out well. The service man was installing glass in the window in a bedroom and one of the panes of glass broke and they did reorder the glass and they got it in very quickly after that.
