Description of Work: Due to a period of heavy rainfall, a large tree had started to lean toward the house. We were impressed that the crew came prepared to deal with this dangerous situation with the proper equipment for both the safety of the men and our property. They cleared away all tree limbs and debris before leaving.

Description of Work: Trimmed up a huge Bradford pear tree. They were on time , were very quick, and very clean. Great company.

Description of Work: Have been using J Davis for years. They came highly recommended and we haven't used anyone else since we found them.

Description of Work: Trimmed one tree, cut off dead branches, mistletoe, low hanging branches over the street. Very professional. Will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Trimming was done on a Live Oak, a Crepe Myrtle and Yaupon. We also had them remove a Crepe Myrtle. They were very easy to schedule, prompt and professional. All debris was removed and the clean up was exceptional.

Description of Work: They removed a large limb that was on my electric service and pruned 5 large oak trees and 4 smaller trees. Perfect results. They cleaned up all leaves and limbs on ground.

Description of Work: One of their arborists visited my premises, assessed the situation, quoted a price and date/time to do the work, and followed up with the work. They pruned branches off of several trees hanging over the roof of my house, and pruned dead branches off from high up on another tree.

Either that information was not passed on to the work crew or they had received contrary instructions (or decided not to perform all of this on their own). When I pointed out the terrific job they had previously done, the foreman said that they had lost money on that job. After some discussion, they agreed to cut one of the larger limbs. Description of Work: Removed dead tree limbs. J Davis always performs a timely professional service. I have used this company for approximately 20 years and have always been extremely satisfied.

Description of Work: We had a number of trees that looked like they were dying. We were referred to this company to come look and make recommendations for treatment. We were told that we would be charged $150 for the trip since the company is over an hours drive away. Billy came out and spent an hour with us making recommendations for all of our trees. When we asked about treatment, he told us that we would spend a lot of money and the trees would die anyways so we shouldn't waste our money. When we asked about his price for cutting down the trees, he suggested someone in our area since it would save us money. When it was all done, he didn't charge us since he was in the area for another job. What a great company! We will recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest tree service.

Description of Work: after an email from their link and two phone requests, I never heard back from these folks. Can't even find a pulse. Too bad, guess my job wasn't worth their trouble.

Description of Work: I have had this company out twice and have been very pleased both times. The first was late last summer when we were concerned with changes in our trees, which seemed to be dropping their leaves too early, and they evaluated the trees and explained what was causing the problem. I have just had them out to check the health of our trees and to ask their advice on pruning them. Again they were very helpful and honest and said that the trees were doing fine and actually are too young to prune (they were put in by the builder 5 years ago). I had the tress deep root fed last summer and will do so again this spring. I would highly recommend them. The person that came out is a certified arborist.
