Description of Work: Diamond Quality Services came out on an Angie's List Big Deal to check and service our AC unit. The technician was prompt, polite, and professional. He thoroughly checked the unit, added coolant, cleaned the system, and changed the filter. I would definitely use Diamond again for future service on our unit.

Description of Work: The owner showed up for my service call. I explained that I knew I had ducting problems at least and I wanted him to explain what was wrong and the appopriate fix. I needed to do it myself for financial reasons. He was honest and comprehensive even though he knew I wasn't going to pay someone to do it. I was highly impressed and will recommend them and call again if needed.

Description of Work: Seems like they sent a green apprentice to do the job. He went outside to my unit to add freon but yet, left his tools behind. Also, he never flushed or blew out the unit in attic even though he went through the motion of going to the restroom to empty water residue 2 times. When he left, I still had leakage out of the backup overflow and lack of freon. I just had my a/c serviced by another company and fixed both of these.

Dear member, Our company sent a very competent and well equipped, trained, both state and EPA certified technician to perform an AC tune at your home. Our technician performed a thorough AC tune up for this member in (August of 2015). The member states in her review it was in March of 2015. When the member scheduled the AC tune up with our dispatch office she requested only the purchased tune up based on the Angie's List coupon and, to our knowledge there was no mention of a drain clog or request to have a drain line moved- until our technician arrived at the call the day of the scheduled tune up. When our technician arrived at the call he started the tune up in the attic where there was found to be water in the drain pan. So the first thing our technician repaired was the clogged primary drain condensate line. Our technician cleared the line until the drain line was flowing properly. Our technician then began finishing the tune up in the attic prior to running the diagnostics on the condenser outside the residence. The back side of the condenser was partially buried in the ground and our technician carefully dug around the unit to expose the hi/lo line-set ports to engage them with the diagnostic equipment in order to get a reading. While performing diagnostics our technician found the refrigerant to be 1.5 pounds deficient per manufacturer recommendation. After our technician added the one free pound of freon which was included with the coupon he then informed the member that another half pound would have the system back to complete specification based on manufacturer guidelines. We have digital images of the technicians diagnostics from the service call. We also have time/date stamped detailed notes provided by the technician which are step by step as he moved through the tune up process from clearing the drain line to completion. Our technician brought the refrigerant deficiency to the attention of the member and the member declined the additional half pound of refrigerant and declined further service. The member did not have an issue with adding a free pound of refrigerant to a system the member knew was leaking. Also, if the member was slightly low on refrigerant after our technician left (see member review) it is strictly due to the member declining to pay for the remaining half pound of refrigerant recommended by our technician on-site but not included with the coupon. Our technician also offered to schedule a leak test for the member. The member declined. The member told our technician that she would call our dispatch to schedule the test. To our knowledge the member did not call to schedule this test. Last, while our technician was on the call the member commented to our technician that the member thought that while we were there we could also remove and reroute the emergency drain line to an opposing side of the residence. Our technician explained that he would evaluate conditions and placement for the project but that the project would require scheduling in order to return with all components and time allotted. The member declined and to our knowledge has not made an attempt to schedule the project. Description of Work: We had three furnace units inspected and tuned up. One needed a switch replaced. This company has worked on our A/C systems and were able to diagnose a problem that no one else could. I have found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Their one loose link has been communication. Hopefully, that has been resolved by now.
