I called Rita at DQS to see if they did work in our area, I told her I intended to purchase the deal for $249 on Angie's list to have my ducts cleaned. She told me to hold off on purchasing the special until they had come out to see if the work even needed to be done. We coordinated a visit and the tech came out, assessed our ducts and our air conditioners and told us we were in good shape and did not need to have the ducts cleaned.He recommended that we keep the doors to unused rooms cracked open in order to prevent a vacuum effect that would reduce the efficacy of our cooling unit. There was no charge for the inspection. Overall very professional. They wanted our business but were not going to have us buy something we didn't need. That level of honesty is always greatly appreciated.

I called because the a/c in guest house quit working. I also asked him to determine why the overflow was dripping outside, one room in my house does not cool well and there is a problem fitting the filter into the second unit. The response to my call was prompt and Chris,the owner, came the same afternoon to inspect the unit. He made the urgent repair and scheduled additional work for later. All appointments and communication have been prompt and professional. I thought Chris's recommendations were fair and accurate, as was the price of repairs. He is returning to repair or replace a crushed duct - the cause of poor cooling and fix the filter problem.

Great. They came and went and I could not even tell they had been there with the excepetion of my upstairs temperature being at least 10 degrees lower than it had all summer. Very nice, did a great job of dealing with my dogs. Not a single piece of dust or insulation was found on the floor or in the closet where they had to enter the roof.

Had Scott and Diamond Quality Services come out and evaluate our AC system and for duct cleaning with specific attention to mold on several registers. The house is 5000 square feet with 3 systems. Scott and his son came out and spent at least 1.5 hours on the estimate alone. They found both the source and the cause of the mold and then, worked with us to ensure that the ducts would be cleaned prior to us moving in as I have twin 1.5 year old girls and a wife with asthma. The kicker is that I could not get to the home the day of the cleaning and forgot to ask Scott to do the dryer vent. I called him at 6 p.m. that evening. He responded that he would return to the home with the appropriate tool the next morning to do the work.. The next morning, he called me and told me that our vent did not need cleaning and did not charge me anything. Overall working with Scott and Diamond Quality Services was an excellent experience. They are highly recommended!!!

Our A/C went out last week and we originally called a large company we had used before and were really disappointed in having to have a tech then an estimator, then a service technician come out before we could get it fixed. I called Diamond Quality Services in the middle of dealing with the huge company and was really impressed with their service. They were able to give me an estimate over the phone and send Scott, the company owner over the same day to fix our A/C. Rita who handles the schedule and estimates was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Scott did run a little late but they did call to let me know as much. The repair was handled efficiently and to our satisfaction. Scott was great about answering questions and got us up and running within a couple of hours. I am so glad I found Diamond Quality and will easily refer them to friends and family. Their cost was over $500 less than the BIG A/C repair company and the service was SO much better.

I had recently moved back into a condo I had rented out and was concerned, due to past leaks repaired many years ago, that insulation was missing in certain areas. I called and made an appointment. They were very friendly over the phone and set my appointment. They were a little late (30 minutes or so) arriving but apologized profusely. It was decided during a previous visit to discuss what needed to be done, that instead of drilling through the ceiling they would go through the roof, blow in insulation and then install passive attic ventilation. This was recommended as I didn't have any attic ventilation. They did everything as promised and an immediate difference was noticed in my walk-in closet. I'm very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of their work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends and family and will certainly use them in the future for any of my needs concerning HVAC, duct work/cleaning or insulation. It's great to know that when you use a highly rated contractor on Angie's list it's like inviting a friend into your home. No games or tricks, just honest people offering excellent work! This was my experience with Diamond Quality Services.

They were extremely awesome. I liked their honesty and the way they treated my house like their own home and everything else. I give them the highest ratings on all counts and would use them again if necessary.

Actually, I'd been looking for a new HVAC company and when one of my friends told me their unit was dead I told them what I'd read on Angie's list about Diamond Quality Services. She was SO impressed. it started with Rita in the office and continued with Scott and his son. Scott came out and looked at her unit and commented that it had been well installed which is why it lasted 13 years. After evaluating the entire situation he recommended an appropriate unit for her. Here are the actual comments she sent me in an email..."It went very well. They replaced it on Friday. Very prompt in showing up when they said they would. They laid plastic down from the entry to the attic to bring things in and out of the house. Even vacuumed when finished. Quality installation...that is what they pride themselves on. Soctt was very helpful in helping me make a decision on which type of unit to install and didn't try to oversell. Replaced copper line which one of my neighbors said they seldom do (again, example of quality). I made them blueberry muffins that morning...:)" Further she told me that Scott brought her a window unit to use until she could be at home to have the new unit installed and they hauled all the debris away. All in all she was VERY satisfied. Thank you!

Fantastic! Stellar! Very Impressive! I contacted three Angie's List contractors for radiant barrier, attic ventilation, and duct air flow balancing. One contractor seemed very suspect (I will write a report on that) and the other two came in with almost identical quotes. I chose Diamond Quality Services, because of Scott's attitude and expertise. Scott was EXTREMELY thorough. While we were in the attic looking at what needed to be done, Scott noticed that the evaporator coil and plenum (that were suspended from the ceiling) were not level. The result of this was that the condensation collected in the plenum rather than exiting through the drain. This was creating a mold issue. Scott was the only contractor to notice this. He also showed me why the air flow was poor in some areas of my home. It was due to poor positioning of the air ducts and also how the ducts attached to the plenum. I have a 2500 square foot single story home with very high ceilings. Scott listened to all of my concerns and made commonsense suggestions and all without being pushy at all. The work is done and the A/C is running much less. The climate inside the house is MUCH BETTER balanced! All in all I am very pleased. I would DEFINITELY use him again. I DEFINITELY recommend him. Get Diamond Quality Services if you want a quality guy to do quality work.

Excellent! Genuine and honest service!

The proposed appointment date and time they offered me conflicted with another appt they already had scheduled. They offered that customer a 10% discount to change appointment time ... and asked me to absorb the $300 it was going to cost the company to change the other customer's appointment! I reminded them a 10% coupon was available through Angie's list for service. He wasn't familiar with the coupon. I refused to pay the extra $300 and canceled my appt.

I bought this house just 4 months ago.. I knew the AC unit was old, 17 yrs. So I was expecting the worse. Fortunately it is working OK and I was told that it vary well could last me a couple more years.

I have a dryer vent running under the slab of my house and it wasn't working properly. Another company inspected it and recommended I rerout it so it runs between the two floors of the house and vents out higher on the side of the house - a repair estimated at $475 (not including dry wall repair cost). I was sceptical so I contacted Diamond Quality Services for a second opinion. The receptionist told me on the phone that Scott will come out to take a look and if it needs to be just cleaned, the cost would be $230. Scott came out on time, and told me the vent does not need to be rerouted. As a matter of fact, that will make things worse because it will extend the path the hot air will have to travel to reach the outside. Scott said that the vent was clogged with old insulation (probably from the time the house was built based on its color), and it only needed cleaning. He didn't even charge me the full price of the cleaning because the vent was easier to clean than he anticipated. I had to deal with a lot of service providers since I moved into my house due to multiple problems I needed fixed. Scott is by far the most honest and professional person I had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, but he took the time to explain exactly what was going on, and adjusted his cleaning charge to reflect the difficulty of the job. He meets the highest professional standards in his business!

Scott Peterson and the people working for him (Will and Chris) were just wonderful. They did what they said. They were meticulous in their work. They were conscientious about not soiling my carpet. They laid down plastic to protect the carpet and then vacuumed my carpet after the work. The heating and air conditioning system is 15 years old but now practically looks brand new. I have never been more impressed with a service company. I have asked Scott to put me on his list to call me in the fall for regular maintenance. I now only want this company to take care of my heating and air conditioning work. To me the $757 was well worth the money. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

I initially decided to call when a super deal was offered through Angie's list for the Winter Furnace Cleaning and Check. Scott Peterson and his son came and did a through job. He found that the dual heating feature of our unit was not being triggered because the outside unit was set to disable dual heating under 50 degrees. He changed the setting down to 40 degrees and said that any lower would be inefficient. He also found a lot of rust both inside of the unit and in the overflow pan. With all the times we had to call our home warranty people to come out to fix the unit, you would think that they would have told us about the problem. He took pictures of all the problem areas and showed them to me as he gave me his report. When I asked for him to physically show me the problem areas, he had no problem re-opening the unit. He even emailed me the pictures. He gave us an estimate for the work that needed to be done but suggested that we call the warranty company to see what we could get covered. He gave me an idea of what I should expect to be covered and what would most likely not be covered. His detailed explanations and pictures were very valuable when dealing with the home warranty's AC people. He also found microbial growth in our unit. He informed me of the EPA regulations regarding the issue. In specific, that porous surfaces can not be cleaned. My father had had similar problems with his unit and wanted more details. Mr. Peterson happily answered my questions by phone and offered to speak directly (or on conference) with my dad. As of this post, we are still dealing with the home warranty company and are delaying dealing with the growth problem. As far as the cleaning and inspection that was done, I am very happy with his service. It was well worth the money.

Scott and Will showed up on time, completely explained what they were going to do, went to work, and did exactly as stated and agreed. We have two units, 4 air returns, and 19 air supplies. When they were done, all were cleaned, air leaks fixed, and proper filter cages installed. The filter cages were replaced because the manufacturer did not furnish completely sealed filter cages and refused to make the necessary repairs. We are very satisfied and will recommend this company based upon the quality of work provided.

We were close to finishing a massive remodeling and remediation project and decided to have our air ducts checked. We called Diamond Quality Services because of their excellent rating on Angie's List. On the day Scott Peterson was scheduled he called and said he finished his first appointment ahead of time and asked if he could come early. After inspecting our system he told me we really didn't need anything cleaned. We were careful throughout our project to keep vents covered with filters to cut down on dust and debris getting into ducts. He even checked the dryer vent. He was extremely polite and courteous. We would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends and neighbors and asked him to leave us a stack of business cards. His cards say "Service Beyond Expectation" and that is exactly what we got.

After Checking Angie's List, we called Diamond Quality Service, as they had an excellent record, all good reports. We made a good choice as Scott and company did an excellent job for us. We called him because we found some mold in one of our air ducts. He found that there was mold in all of the ductwork and recommended that we replace all of it. He recommended a change in the configuration of the ductwork so that the heat/cold would be more evenly distributed throughout the house, and that our humidifier needed to be moved to a better place. We agreed.They were right on time the morning that they were to work and they worked steadily until the job was completed later the same day. The front bedroom had never been warm in the winter or cool in the summer and no one had been able to fix it. Scott did it with the change in the ductwork. That room and all the other rooms are now about evenly heated. They cleaned and removed all mold on the vents and cleaned up after they were finished. We highly recommend this company. We will call them if we ever need work on our heating/AC system.

Arrived on time which is no small feat as we live out in the Country. Set up and cleaned each and every intake vent, all the ceiling ducts/registers and went up into the attic to clean the heating unit.

Cleaning crew was professional and did an exceptional job. They explained what they were going to do and how they would do the job. There was some confusion on how the Angie's list coupon would be applied and the additional cost for my two HVAC systems but it was quickly resolved to my 100% satisfaction. I recommend Diamond Quality Services and will not hesitate to use them again when needed.

I called during a time when my A/C was re-doing duct work and they were able arrange coming the next day. Scott went out of his way to accommodate my schedule by coming early in the morning to meet and look over the system and give a recommendation and quote.

Arrived on time. Guys were pleasant and efficient. Owner was there working as well. Everything done as promised and at agreed upon price. One of the gentlemen placed a foot through the ceiling. They had an excellent drywall repairman there the beginning of the next week. Did not ask for remaining payment until repair work was completed. I highly recommend this company.

Showed up on time and worked all day with just a very brief lunch break. Went till it was done and checked out - took about 12 hours. The owner was there filling in for one of his workers who had injured his back. Both he and his helper were sharp and personable, answered our questions clearly and completely. I consider the money very well spent.
