I purchased a deal through Angie's List for a tune up and up to 2 lbs. of freon. A technician took pictures of my air conditioner, told me that the coils needed to be cleaned but were probably too old. Instead, tried to convince me to buy a whole new system, which he quoted as $8000 - $10,000. Also wanted to clean the air ducts, something I didn't ask for. Refused to check the freon because he said he couldn't get a good reading. Told me that he would send another technician for a second opinion. Haven't heard from the company. Called twice. No response. Overall, it was a waste of time and money because I received absolutely nothing. In my opinion, this "deal" was more of an opportunity for a sales pitch. I finally contacted another company. That technician said there wasn't anything wrong with my system. He cleaned the coils and motor. Added freon. He said not to worry about replacing the air conditioner or central unit. Everything works fine. If something does break, he said I only neet to replace what's broken. If I do need an entirely new system, it would cost around $4,000 at most. His service charges were very reasonable. Needless to say, he will get my business in the future.

I purchased an air conditioning service call for $69.00The next day I recieved a phone call we we set time for the service call. I was told everything would be checked out and they would review what they felt needed to be replaced and we would be sent a proposal for the cost. They arrived on time and checked everything out.The next day the proposal arrived via email.We went with the recommended repair and it was completed that day.

Scott Peterson and Alan Vaughn (owners) were exceptionally great, honest, and both individuals take pride in their profession. Being a member of Angie's List, recently I received a Coupon offer for a $ 69 "Tune-Up" for our Lennox A/C Unit. Needless to say I took advantage of this special and I am extremely grateful to Diamond Quality Services for a job well done. Alan Vaughn did the initial servicing on Wednesday afternoon. Initial readings showed our A/C was low on R-410 freon. Alan thought I might encounter some minor problems with our A/C unit if additional freon was installed. Alan exchanged notes with Scott Peterson and it was decided Scott would make a second visit to our house on Thursday to further trouble-shoot. Scott Peterson trouble-shooted our A/C system from top to bottom and discovered 1-major flaw. The original installation of our A/C TXV "Sensor Bulb" was done incorrectly. This all important "Sensor Bulb" was installed vertically and not HORIZONTAL as directed by Lennox. The original installation also showed system was charged with only 7 lbs of freon and when it should have been 8 lbs. Scott took the time to correctly install the "Sensor Bulb" without charge and re-masked and sealed our A/C unit. In addition Scott added an addtional 1 lb of freon to bring our A/C unit up to standards in accordance with Lennox. Diamond Quality Services needs to be recognized for their outstanding workmanship and pride. Also, Scott and Alan will never recommend or charge customers for services that they do not need like other companies. Thanks a million, Scott and Alan

They were very late. They did not perform the work I expected them to perform. They left a mess inside my house.

Rita was able to accomaodate their very vusy schedle when I informed her that I had a house full of guests and the downstair A/C had quit working. Scott was very responsive to my phone calls and as always fixed my unit quickly. I can not thank him and Rita enough. Despite being super busy with all the "Big Deal" claims they were able to accomodate me and make the stay for my family a pleasant one. Thank you again so much for your outstanding service.

.I had a problem with my upstairs air conditioner and called for help. Even though they were really busy they slotted me and put in freon and all is well. I really cannot thoroughly express how good this company is from Rita to Scott AAA+ service.

They came out, reviewed what I wanted done, found several issues with my system that I did not know I had, provided a reasonable quote for doing the work and then completed it as scheduled.

I just purchased the $69.00 A/C tune up with the Angie's list "Big Deal" coupon. I read the fine print and did the appropriate amount of research on this company prior to purchasing the "Big Deal". About 2 hours after I purchased the coupon online I received a voicemail from a female (do not remember her name) at Diamond Quality Services. She sounded apologetic but stated my address was too far from their location and they could not service my address. I live in Collin County and I am frustrated with the lack of detail on Diamond Quality Service's website and the Angie's list website about their service area. On Diamond Quality Service's website I could not find any link that listed the cities that they serve and the Angie's list website stated that they serve Dallas, Tarrant and parts of Collin County. Stating "parts" of Collin County is to vague and this should really be corrected on both websites. If they are going to serve "parts" of a county then they should list the cities that they are willing to service to avoid these types of reviews. Now I have wasted time writing this review and will waste even more time by having to contact Angie's list for a refund (not to mention that I will have to start my search over for a new service provider). I will certainly think twice before I purchase another "Big Deal" coupon from Angie's list. If the coupon is not valid in my area then why do they send an alert about the "Big Deal" to my e-mail address? This is a very frustrating experience and it makes me question if I should ever do business with Angie's list in the future.

They did call me first after the Big Deal purchase, and that was nice, but the lady on the phone was very unresponsive and didn't seem at all interested in helping me schedule their service. She wanted to schedule during the week and that was something I wasn't able to dot. She just told me to call up Angie's List and try to get a refund. I was surprised that they didn't seem interested in my business or try to be a little more accommodating. She came across as though she didn't care or not if she ever dealt with Angie's List or their members again.

I was scheduled in early afternoon and Rita called to say the guys were running behind and it would probably be 5 till they could get there. Luckily, I had no other committments that afternoon and was able to be there. From the time I answered the door until they left, I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism. The most important thing to me is that I felt I could trust them. They did not try to price gouge me or get me to spend extra money. They told me my system was in great condition and very well installed. Other than $45 to add extra coolant, everything was great. I will definitely use them again if I have AC/Heating problems.

It worked out well. He was responsive and on time. I am very happy with the services.

The work was completed on 3/26. In all phases of the job I was very impressed with the professionalism of the technicians, the office administrator, and Scott (the owner). When it comes time to replace our 10 year old system, rest assured that I will be doing business again with Diamond Quality Services. Great service at a fair price.!

My husband and I recently purchased a home and wanted to have the air ducts cleaned prior to moving in. I found Diamond on Angie's List and called to see how quickly they could accommodate us. I called on a Wednesday and requested service for the following Monday. Initially, Rita said that the first available appointment would be Tuesday, however after learning that we were anxious to get it done before moving in, she checked with her crew and called me back offering Monday afternoon as we had originally requested. Later that same day, she called again and offered to have the crew come on Saturday, which worked out great since it meant that we did not have to miss any work time on Monday. The crew was professional and while they were there, we decided to add on having the dryer vent cleaned out. The crew covered appliances and the areas under the vents while cleaning them and cleaned up any dust or residue that came out of the vents as they worked. They also provided feedback on our HVAC system describing how some alterations would provide better air flow for our home. Their feedback was consistent with what our home inspector had shared with us so we feel confident in what the crew suggested. Based on our experience with the air duct crew, as well as Rita's efforts to work with us on scheduling, we plan to have Diamond come back to evaluate and give us an estimate for some additional HVAC servicing and work.

It went great. The service provided by Diamond was amazing. From scheduling to job performed it was seamless and at a great price. I highly recommend this company!

Scott was very knowledgable and explained everything he did. He had to add refrigerant and told me there had to be a leak somewhere. Also, the duct work needed adjustments for the problem room. We will reschedule for him to troubleshoot and provide estimate for duct work. Update: I decided to get Scott to re-do duct work because I really wanted that hot/cold room fixed. After duct work, that room was still off by about 4 degrees from the rest of the house. Scott and the darling Miss Rita were determined to make me a satisfied customer since I had such a bad experience with Hobson Comfort Experts. He came out again and put a hood over the vent in that room to measure the output and it was evident that it was not putting out enough air. He told me that he wanted to increase the duct size to that room. He came out again and changed the duct size and FINALLY after 11 years, that room is COMFORTABLE! I will ALWAYS call them if I experience any other AC/Heating issues because they truly believe in creating a satisfactory experience. I only paid the $59 for then initial call and $1100 for the re-sizing of the duct work. The other two visits he made were free and he did not charge me for the addition of refrigerant. LOVE THEM!!!

The guys where there at exactly 8am,not a minute later.They where fast and efficient,getting the job done much quicker than I expected. I was extremely pleased with the job and plan to use them again in the future. I can honestly say it was the best contractor I have ever used in the DFW area.

My A/C unit is fairly new, so I was pretty certain the repair was probably minor. My wife spoke with Rita over the phone and she was very helpful. The serviceman-Scott was timely and extremely helpful. As suspected, the repair was minor. Scott was cordial and honest about the necessary work. Discovering a trustworthy service company can be difficult, so I will always consult Diamond Quality Services first when needing any type of work on my A/C unit! THANKS RITA & SCOTT!

Scott discovered an air intrusion in attic which had created a mold issue. He professionally delivered as promised and we could immediately tell the difference in the air quality.

I had an Angie's list deal for $49 for A/C tune-up. I called and made the appointment, and Scott showed up a couple of minutes early and went right to work. He checked whatever needed to be checked, and said that everything looked good, although I was down a little on freon, maybe 1 1/2 or 2 pounds, at $35/lb. I probably could have found some place where it was a little cheaper, but he was here, and I wouldn't have to pay a trip charge. It only took 1 lb. Now my A/C unit should be good to go all summer.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Initially scheduled for weekend service, 1 day prior to work received call from Rita informing me that they couldn't make the appt b/c another property had extensive work needing to be done. When I attempted to reschedule for another weekend Rita informed me that they would not do the work on the weekend b.c we were using an Angie's list coupon and they'd have to pay their crew overtime which she was not comfortable doing. When I asked why the 1st appt was scheduled for the weekend she said they didn't intend on completing the work. I asked for a refund and was told no, call Angie's list.

Everything was great! The gentleman was honest and did good work. I would use this company again in the future if I have a need for A/C work.

We had an overall concern with lowering our monthly bills and having our house run more efficiently. We were looking to get our attic reinsulated. He took a look at our attic, moved some insulation around where he felt it was needed, and when it came time to get a bill he didn't charge us anything because it was a very small job. He was very upfront and honest.

Contacted Scott on Wed and he was able to stop by and give an estimate for adding 12 inches of insulation to the attic and replace 3 roof turbines. He did try to sell anything just explained the pros and cons of added insulation and radiant barrier. .He was professional and answered questions. No high pressure tactics. I decieded to not go with radiant barrier.He even made a couple of suggestions on how to save money. Friday he and his guys came out and did the work. The work was done right. I would not hesitate to recommend Scott for any insulation needs.

Everything went very well. I do feel the charge was a little high for the work performed.
