I called Veteran Garage Door Service at 2:15 this afternoon and set a 3:30 to 5:30 arrival window. I received a call at 2:45 saying they were on their way and would arrive in 30 minutes; they arrived in almost exactly 30 minutes. The technician, Colton, weighed the garage door and created an estimate. We talked about option to upgrade the spring and he indicated it would require a custom made spring if I wanted an upgrade to what I had/he had quoted; I said no thanks to the custom model. Colton then proceeded to quickly replace the spring. He performed an inspection to ensure everything was functioning properly and adjusted the garage door opener so that the door no longer slammed on the ground when it closed. Outcome is a perfectly functioning door/opener with only 30 minutes or so consumed out of my day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They contacted me promptly after I bought the deal and arrived at the scheduled time. The technician quickly adjusted the door closure and 'tuned it up'. He also highlighted a couple of items that may need attention in the future. There is a noticeable difference in how smoothly the door operates. I originally called because the garage door on my rental property was clanging. I used their $29 gold promotion, which includes maintenance, inspection and a tune-up. The technician was done in 30 minutes and now the garage door is operating very smoothly. I am very happy with their service and level of professionalism and I highly recommend them.

These guys are great! My garage door was a bit off track and was making a terrible screeching sound. I called these guys up and they were there in no time. 100% Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed - unless something goes wrong Garage Door Repair Request 04/06/15 Searched internet, found website coppelltxgaragedoor.com Called Veteran Garage Door, LLC at dispatch number 469-619-3873 Technician called before arriving around 11:30 am Upon tech call, I exited my back gate, got in my truck, facing my closed garage door, and moved it to the front of my house. During the first 30 minutes or so of the tech working on my door, I stayed outside and helped him. I assisted in manually lifting the door several times, and holding the door several times ? from the driveway. I had a 30 minute conference call at 1:00. Around 1:30, the tech indicated he was finished with repairs and added equipment I purchased. I walked through the house into the garage and he operated the door several times, demonstrating it?s proper operation. I signed paperwork and paid him. He left, and I closed the garage door from inside the garage. Around 6:20 pm, I moved my truck from the front of house to the driveway (and into the garage). I immediately saw physical damage to the door. I called the technician around 6:40 p.mm to tell him about my discovery. His first response was, there is no way that he could have caused damage. I told him I?d like to take a picture or two and text to him. I sent two pictures at 6:42 and called him back. His attitude was, there was no way he caused the damage, and it must have been there before he came ? though no mention was made of the physical damage, and I was 100% certain the door was not damaged prior to the service call. I called the dispatch number again to ask to speak to a manager. The dispatcher immediately took a defensive posture as I very politely described what I found, and what the tech had said. His attitude was antagonistic and he insisted on knowing whether or not I saw him do it. I told him I did not, but explained the reasons behind my certainty that the door had not been damaged when the tech arrived. We agued and he took the position that he was only a dispatcher and would have the owner call me. Around 11:00 a.m. 04/07/15, the phone rang and a gentleman representing himself as the owner, Lotan Stern, asked if he could come review the damage in 15 minutes - I said certainly. He arrived and immediately asserted that the technician had been with the company for a long time, and was very good. I agreed with him completely and reminded him of my satisfaction with the repair work, and that I bought a lot of extra product from the tech, etc. The tech told me he had been ?doing this for about 3 years?. For the next 45 minutes to an hour, he tried everything in his power to demonstrate how the damage was in no way the fault of his technician. He suggested that a nail or a screw must have fallen out of my house and caused the damage. I demonstrated that all nails and screws were still in place in the area in question, still painted over. He then decided that a garage door alarm contact screw looked like it might be screwed in crooked. In front of my witness, he accused me of it being out, damaging the door, and suggested ?someone? screwed it back in. T hen, Lotan actually unscrewed the screw on the alarm contact and took pictures. My witness demonstrated the placement of that door contact and associated screw being more than 3 inches from the damage. The wear marks on the door were completely consistent with the insulation strip at the top of the door, with no associated wear in the area of the damage to the door. Lotan continued to argue, deflect, and fabricate possible ways that the door was damaged ? except that his company might be responsible for the damage. I explained that we had spent a lot of time on the door opener Saturday and Sunday and there was no damage. I personally parked in the driveway every day ? I am 100% certain there was absolutely no physical damage to my door. Lotan even suggested that there was ?rust? evident where the damage was ? aluminum does not rust. I tried being very reasonable. All I wanted was for my door to be repaired. I felt the appropriate response was to work together for a solution. He finally decided to leave and said he would call me that night ? all in front of my witness. 04/07/15 No phone call 04/08/15 No phone call 04/09/15 Around 12:15 pm I called 469-619-3873 and talked with the dispatcher again. I reminded him who I was, and gave him my name, and asked him to please get a message to the owner. They already had my home phone number in their records. I then gave him my cell phone number, and he asked for and I gave him my e-mail address He put me on hold for a bit, and came back and said he had tried to call the owner twice and he did not answer. He said he would give him the message, and he was sure he would get back with me. The next time I heard from Lotan was via e-mail 04/10/15. The e-mailed document was more of the same ? i ncluding pictures he took of a contact without the screw that he himself removed in front of my witness ? as part of his attempt to fabricate any possible cause, other than being accountable. I e-mailed him back two different times on April 12th, and have gotten no response. From the first moment of an issue, the tech, the dispatcher, and the owner have all maintained that if I did not physically witness the damage occurring, they bear absolutely no responsibility. Myself and my witness are truly flabbergasted at Lotan?s behavior ? physically removing a screw from inside my garage and taking pictures to attempt to support a fabricated story. The measurements do not support the theory. This man clearly has no interest in doing the right thing. It appears to me that a panel will have to be replaced, and the door repainted so that all the panels match. I was willing to let Lotan complete the repair as it would be less expensive for him than if I hire another company to do it. Lotan?s attitude is very disappointing, and I am considerably irritated that I am having to take so much of my personal time to attempt to compel a business owner to do the right thing. I spent a lot of time Saturday and Sunday prior to this call working on the inside of the garage with the door springs, standing on the outside helping hold the door and lift it manually, etc. The damage was absolutely not there. It is basically at eye-height to me. If there were any question about whether the door were damaged prior to this service call, I would have assumed responsibility. However, I am absolutely certain that my door was not damaged prior to the tech working on the door.

Wow, what a great experience. My garage door broke on Friday night after 4th of July so first thing Saturday i called Veterans to come check it out, talk about responsive, he was at my house in 15 minutes (not Monday like most companies I called but Saturday morning), accessed the work, gave me a quote. I asked for same day service (I almost got it) but his guys were busy all over town and he just couldn't squeeze me in, so first thing Monday they tackled the problem, replaced, rebalanced, cleaned up, etc. NOW i have a quiet, strong, sturdy garage door opener that should last another 10 years or more.
