Freedom Plumbing

I am SO happy with Freedom Plumbing. Kyle was prompt and he is a true expert plumber. Kyle was not only professional but he worked really fast and efficiently. I was a little nervous due to the fact that I spent some $$ on two different plumbing companies within the last 6 months to do what I thought were fairly simple jobs. My condo was developed in the 80's and plumbing can be a bit complex. The last two plumbing companies either damaged my counter or could not finish the job. Kyle, on the other hand, did a fantastic job and I would recommend Freedom Plumbing to anyone. I need more work done and I will be using them again.

Everything went fine. I bought one of Angie's "Big Deals" for two hours of plumbing labor for $99 back in June. When I finally got around to making appointment on Monday, Nov 18, I spoke to Tabitha who was very courteous and friendly. We set up an appointment for 2 - 4 PM on following Thursday, Nov 21. She told me I would get a call about 15 minutes before the plumber would be there. At 1:45 PM on the day of the appointment Kyle called and said he was on his way. He arrived at exactly 2 PM. Kyle was also extremely courteous and friendly. After I showed him what I wanted to have done he went to his truck to gather the appropriate tools and parts for the job and got right to work. He was done with all the tasks in less than two hours and presented me with a bill for the parts installed. After a brief chat about a couple of other projects I might want to have done at another time, he was out the door and on his way to the next job. I was very pleased with all aspects of the experience with Freedom Plumbing, and will definitely use them again in the future. I have already recommended them to my daughter in Frisco for some work she wants to have done.

The complete process went quite well. The plumber responded to my service call within 2 hours. He was very professional and started working immediately after arriving. He was comlpete with both tasks within an hour. He did an excellent job of cleaning up after he was through. I will definately use Freedom Plumbing the next time I need a plumber.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went very well. I needed a few things and a few screws and pipes, but he didn't charge me. The price was very good.

It went well. The tech looked at my shower drain and saw it had not been hooked up to the sewer. He is coming back tomorrow to do a proper job of hooking it up.

Excellent service! Scheduling was a breeze, great followup to the Angie's list deal. Plumbing tech on time and very professional. Great communication. Achieved the results I was after and confident of using again!

It was a big deal purchase. Their services turned out to be very excellent. I liked everything about them. They were very nice, courteous and they called and their prices were reasonable. I really liked them.

The problem surfaced late in the day. I called and left a message with Freedom Plumbing while trying to figure out what else to do. Trent called me back that evening after hours and spent quality time listening to me explain my situation and offering possible remedies depending on probable causes. Trent quoted me a price and we set an appointment for the next day. Trent showed up right on time. From the beginning Trent approached my situation with sincerity about correcting the problem the right way, the correct way, not like plumbers in the past who were only interested in getting the job done the fastest way and then moving on to the next job. Trent took the time to check out the house and the way the plumbing lines were configured. He checked each of the three bathrooms as well as the kitchen area. I had already dug up the cleanout earlier that morning but after studying the situation Trent knew where the clog was and the best way of correcting the problem, the cleanout on the opposite side of the house. The house is 40 years old and the metal cover on the cleanout was rusted shut. Not even the best wrench was going to work, period. I mentioned to Trent that other plumbers just used the vent stack on the roof but Trent said that really was not the best way to handle the problem and that most plumbers suggest that method because they can charge more for having to get on the roof. If was 103 degrees that day and the cleanout on the side of the house was in the direct sun. Trent carefully chiseled the cap free as not to damaged the threads on the opening. It took awhile in the hot sun to get access to the cleanout and to run the auger but Trent stayed with it until the clog was cleared. He then carefully checked to make sure all was right. He also offered suggestions of where and what type cap to buy for the cleanout opening and offered advice on how to maintain the drains and pipes. I think the job actually took more work and time then Trent anticipated but he stayed with the price he had quoted me the night before.

He arrived late and was inpatient when I asked questions. The service was for up-to 2 hours, however he made it known by his body language and responsive to my questions that he was going to take as little time as possible. I asked about fixing a bathtub fixture and he indicated that was not included with the service. He spent a total of 25 minutes at my home. I notice a day later that my toilet was leaking, I called the office and the same person came. The leakage came from the ball in the tank and I was charged $185. He didn't not tell me that it was going to cost so much, when I just spent $100 for $200 dollars worth of plumbing. I feel that if he did his job and check all the plumbing, he would have found that the ball had to be replaced and advised me accordingly, instead of doing the bare minimum. I had guests over and they to we're taken aback with the quality of service that he provided. I would not use this company again.

He arrived on time - removed a brick and then the old faucet & left to buy something related to the project. The brick was broken in too many pieces to replace it, so he filled the opening with mortar. The mortar on the house is tan, but he replaced it with gray. It would need to be painted or mixed with color to match. He finished within the 2 hours - very nice person. I would hire him again.

My experience with plumbers in the past has been with larger companies who may hire qualified people to do the easy jobs (toilet repair, unclog a drain, faucet dripping, etc.) but I now had a serious leak and needed a company who could find the source and fix it. So I reviewed Angie's List to find a smaller qualified company. Found that in Freedom Plumbing. Trent responded to my phone message within minutes, and came out himself. In 45 minutes, he identified the problem to be a roofing issue and not a plumbing problem. I call that integrity! Trent explained to me in detail what was happening, and even called a roofing company to come out to fix it. WOW! He also recommended a restoration company to clean up the water in the house. If you are looking for a Plumber who is knowledgeable, punctual, service minded, and honest, Freedom is your company to use. Will definitely call them for all future needs.

PERFECT! Will use them for all of my plumbing needs. I purchased a deal through Angie's List and they came out now, one, not two, but three times because the first two times I had not purchased the correct fixtures. That is truly a great example of customer service as they did not charge me the first 2 times and I used my deal for the third visit. They are friendly and knowledgable and I would recommend them to anyone!!!

Very good. The plumbing in our house is quite old. Trent had to work very hard to remove old faucets and then make new hardware fit properly.

Kyle showed up within the 2 hr window provided and was very professional and in company uniform. He works really fast and did everything I needed done in about 1.5 hr. He advised me that the company does bathroom remodeling at $97 per hr. rate which he says can save us money as opposed to flat fee jobs as we will be looking into a small reno project soon in bathrooms. I will definitely use the company in the future. I was very pleased with how quickly he got everything done, quality and the price for the job.

He arrived right on time. Very profeswsional and helpful. The job was a lot bigger than we had imagined it would be. There's going to have to be some work done by a differnet contractor bedore Freedom Plumbing can finish their work. He was very helpful and tried very hard to get the job done on the first visit, but he's going to need to come back. He agreed to come back with no additional service charge. anybody would be happy to do business with him.

Our goal was to cap off a sink in the utility room and install a cut off valve. Servicer arrived and said he did not have a cut off valve or cap on his truck. He was on the phone a lot with his wife. He assessed the situation and walked back to his truck without doing anything other than discuss. I honestly was a bit perplexed because it seemed the call was more of a diagnosis with no action. I walked out to his truck to tell him we did want the cut off valve installed. He came up with one on his truck and was finished after 15 minutes. We did not pursue the cutting of the sink connection and cut off valve with the servicer. Husband handled later himself.

I was very impressed and will continue to use Freedom Plumbing. He was on time on a Friday, called, said he might be a little late in arriving, but wasn't late. Went right to work and asked what else, what else. I have not ever had his kind of plumbing service. I would give him the very best rating. Excellent service and extremely professional.

From beginning to end, great service experience. I had a blocked drain and some minor faucet repair, bought a deal through Angies List for a couple of hours of labor. Responded promptly, very professional, and finished quickly while taking care of everything I asked. I'd definitely use these guys again.

So first, I think it's important to set expectations here. I've read a lot of the reviews from the Angie's List Deal for Freedom and people obviously don't understand what these deals are for. Maybe Angie's List could do a better job of describing the details, or what's more likely is that people just want something for nothing. If you're looking for a new water heater and to apply this towards it, then you would be one of those stupid people. Now - back to the review! I emailed back and forth with Freedom to set up a date and was asked to call to schedule. No biggie, because I'm sure they're busy and it's easier to discuss services needed on the phone versus an email. I asked my wife to call while I was traveling and she said it was a smooth transaction and very easy to schedule the appointment. We needed a bathtub drain snaked, we had a toilet leaking from not being set correctly on the wax ring, and lastly we needed a sink leak fixed. Trent arrived on time and was very pleasant to deal with. We showed him what we needed done and all work was performed quickly and more importantly, done right. I also asked a few questions about changing out an electric stove-top to gas and he provided me with the estimate and set expectations on how it'd be done, along with the drywall work needed. I will be using Freedom Plumbing again to run that gas-line and am very pleased with the work performed.
