 + -1 moreNothing more to say, other than buying a deal thru Angie's List was a great idea. I kept out of his way and he quietly did the work with precision and care, and then explained to me what needed do in the future.
Description of Work: After checking out my old door, I was advised that a new door was needed. I totally agreed with this (I had been afraid that was the case). The man inspected the door and then after getting my approval, he got the door the next day and installed it. He was prompt, professional and did the work in great time. I love my new door and I felt that the deal was excellent as he applied the Angie's deal cost to my payment and that worked out well too.

 + -1 moreThe Yes Doors representative arrived at the agreed upon time, did maintenance on our garage and replaced our steel garage door rollers with much quieter nylon rollers--the difference in the noise level of the closing or opening garage door is amazing.. The door is so much quieter, I had no idea that kind of difference could be made just by changing rollers!!

 + -1 moreI bought the special...replace rollers and service the door for $89. They called me right away to schedule an appt. They informed me that they charge a service charge for my area. No problem but it should have been advertised on their Angie's List listing. I paid an additional $45 for the service fee. They showed up within the time frame quoted. They inspected, changed the rollers, and greased the doors. The technician found a crack in the garage door and informed us of how long it would be before the entire door would need to be replaced. He was very friendly and not too pushy when it came to selling us a new garage door. I will definitely call them again.

Only negative was after they added a piece it appeared uneven. this may be because of foundation issues at my residence, but I had to get a 2x4 to place on the out side of the garage doors where one side is lifted over the other so that critters can't enter in. Overall they did what they were suppose to do when they came out. (work was done at my mohers home) It was the additional work that they found that was unleveled.

 + -1 moreLike most Texans we use the garage for more than car protection. It had been years since any kind of maintenance and the door was getting noisier and shakier, motor sounded stressed. Saw this deal, knew our rollers were shot, the rubber was split and pieces falling off. Bought the deal, received an email from them almost immediately reviewing the deal and advising call whenever I was ready. Forgot about it for a while, but when I did call, the friendly operator was able to find my name right away in their computer and scheduled me within a couple of days. Great job! I absolutely feel I received good value for my money!
Description of Work: They showed up promptly as scheduled. They reviewed all they were going to do and proceeded with the work. One worker started popping out the older rollers with a small crowbar, while the second starting cleaning the chain(?); rails; adjusting the electric eye. I went in the house. A little while later, they knocked on the door and we reviewed what they did. Looked like a new installation -- they even swept the floor -- and not just around the door! We used the remote and opened and closed it a few times -- the noise level was so low, I won't be afraid of waking the neighbors when I come home at 2 a.m. and need to open it! They answered all my questions and thanked me for using them.

One very impressive thing was a gap that we have in the door no one has ever offered to fix in 25yrs, he did and fixed it. Price was very reasonable.  + -1 moreThe service man arrived on time and analyzed and corrected the problem quickly. He determined that the automatic opener was fried and left me an estimate for a new one. He took the time to show me how to keep the garage door locked until I can replace the opener.
Description of Work: Someone had backed into my garage door and it would not even open. The garage door was put back on the track so that it would open and dents in the door were smoothed out.

 + -1 moreThis was the best $89 I have ever spent. It turns out a screw/bolt had worked it's way out of the brace that holds the garage door spring to the wall. Down the road that could have been disastrous not only to my garage door but my new car!. He also secured my safety beam lights to the railing which had never been done. Besides all this he was on time, professional and efficient. He even swept out my garage when he was done! I will definitely use this company again!

Description of Work: I won a free garage door check-up through Facebook., I called and scheduled an appointment for them to come out. Ben arrived right on time. He checked the operation of the door and suggested to have new rollers installed, he pointed out the benefits, indicating the door would be smoother and run quieter. I did have the rollers replaced, but there wasn't a sales pitch for him to do the job. It was my choice. With the free check-up, Ben adjusted the springs, greased the rails and garage door opener unit and cleaned the safety sensors and tested the door again. Ben was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Would definitely use Yes Doors again and recommend the company to others. The price was right too.

Description of Work: I have a double & a single garage door. My double jumped the track and I had to replace the guide wires and figured I would replace all the rollers on both doors. The tech from Yes doors was outstanding. Not only did he do the job, but was forthcoming with information. He even left a written warranty for the work, that also included free estimate for future work, even for an emergeny after hours. They are clearly looking for a long term customer, not just a quick sale to keep them busy. It's been a few months since they did their work, and I had a problem with the opener on one of the doors. I looked for my written warranty and got their number to call and ask about a flashing light. They didn't work on the opener, so it wasn't under the scope of their warranty. When I called, the person who answered the phone tried to answer my question, but when she realized she needed a tech to answer, she said someone would call me back. Well, they did rather quickly, and we discussed the situation, and possible solutions. They were trying to help, not sell me more service that wasn't needed. They told me I should try the things we discussed and call back if needed. I did try those things and it worked. A great company, and the techs were very knowledgeable and helpful. I will use them again!

 + -1 moreCalled on 4/4 in a panic as I could not get garage door to open. I had to have an appointment to fit my work schedule. Their customer service contact was excellent and provided me with the exact time I requested for the next day at 8 AM. The technician was polite, courteous, prompt and gave me an estimate within minutes once he identified the problem. I was expecting to be told that I needed alot more repair work due to the fact that we are dealing with an original garage door from 1987. Very HONEST and told me exactly what I needed to do right now and possilbe repairs down the road which I appreciated. The only constructive comment I have is that unless I mentioned the fact of 'what coupons' are available, I don't think YES DOORS would have offered me 40% off. Then, it would not have been very competitive. When your door breaks and you are at their mercy, you need an honest and dependable company.

 + -1 moreWonderful company! Gentleman came out and inspected our garage door and automatic opener. Replaced our wall button which was missing a back cover. A week later the door wouldn't close with the button or opener (wire had come loose - nothing to do with his work) and he came right out and fixed it for no extra charge. Great customer service and will certainly call them for any repairs or maintenance we need in the future.

I would highly recommend Yes Doors and will be sure to recommend them to my friends and family. Very, very happy with the service I received. Our garage door runs so smoothly now.
Description of Work: On Sunday around 5:30, our spring on the garage door broke. I found Yes Doors on Angie's List and they had a coupon. I immediately called the number and was greeted by a very cheerful voice. The lady on the phone said they will be out in an hour. We live pretty far from Garland and the technician arrived by 6:30. He told us that two springs was better than one and I had heard this from friends previously so we agreed to the two springs. We also agreed to have our noisy plastic wheels replaced with nylon coated steel wheels. The guy was neat and quick. He left by 7:30.
