Yes Doors

It went well. We had no remote controls so in addition to the Angie's special tune-up $89 special we had them bring out some remote controls and program them. These are old garage door openers and we are trying to keep them running. All in all, they did a good job and I would call them again.

The entire experience was very smooth. Once I purchased online, I received an email from Yes Door, asking about appointment time and what service to provide. I responded with an appointment time a week away. Then suddenly that afternoon, I had an immediate need to have the service done. I called the company, and a technician was sent out within two hours. The technician performed the tuneup and installation very professionally. He answered all my questions patiently and honestly. Even I thought about replacing the door. He told me my door worked all right. I highly recommend this company!

They were on time and started and completed work within an hour. They explained what they were doing and answered all my questions. Garage door problems have been taken car of! (Date of work is approximate).

The service man was very polite, on time and informative. He even swept the garage as a finishing touch.

My experience with Yes Doors turned out pretty good. The price was good, but I probably could have done some of the work myself. I thought they would use a higher end quality equipment for the price I paid.

YES Pleased with YES Doors. Scheduling was a breeze and they were able to get me in within a couple days. Ben arrived right on time. There were some communication issues about when he would actually be there, but was resolved quickly with No problems. Just a hint to the office - you can't always depend on caller-id being the person's call-back number unfortunately (like when someone calls in from an office behind a PBX system). Again the office was VERY pleasant to work with, and obvously very efficient and organized (which you have to be to book and schedule so many jobs in a day). Ben got started right away and was great at answering questions on the state of the door, future replacement, type of lubricant used, the type of nylon-coated steeel rollers, etc. It was amazing that with 102F temps and being at the end of the day that Ben was still going like the Energizer bunny. Given that the door was really not in bad shape to begin with (aside from the awful shreeks and groans which is why I got this deal!), Ben had it completed in no time and it was an easy service. The new rollers made a huge difference .... now just the sound of gentle rolling. Pleased with service. A few extra observations: I asked about how the rollers would hold up over time. Ben explained that they are still steel rollers inside, but with the nylon outer wheel. He also pointed out that they have one or two additional ball bearings in them compared to the all metal ones. And so far he has never had to replace any YesDoors has installed previously. The spray lubricant he used is specially made for garage doors and it does not gum-up over time. To me the stuff smelled like skunk, but the odor goes away in about 3 days. I let it air-out over the weekend. So great service, helpful advice and information, and I can certainly recommend.

The appointment was setup quickly and they came within the prescribed time. They performed the job efficiently and very professional. He explain how to operate the garage door manually. Very satisfied with the job done. Would use them again.

They called me the day after purchase on Angie's List to set up the appointment. They were on time, professional and did the work quickly and efficiently. Everything worked as expected and they were completed in a very reasonable timeframe.

The company contacted me a day after I bought the Angie's List Coupon. I was able to schedule the time that I wanted. The service man was on time. He explained what he was doing. He replaced all the rollers, checked for adjustments needed, and lubed everything.

Called about a week earlier for a free estimate. Ben showed up on a Saturday to give an estimate for a new garage door opener. After we discovered that I need to have some electrical work done first, we decided to wait for the opener. Once the electrical was fixed he came back out and installed the opener. He was very courteous and timely in his response. Got the job done in about an hour and the new opener works great. Also Tonya was very helpful and extremely friendly on the phone getting things set up. Well run family business, honest and with good integrity. Ben shoots straight with you on estimates and won't try to upsell you. Even programmed a universal remote I had for no extra charge. Pointed out that my garage door is in need of a change (which I already knew), and gave me prices on new doors. Once I find the money for that I will most likely get him back out there to put the new door in as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

I purchased a $99 Special for replacing the door rollers with new improved rollers and tune up door (adjust rails where needed. I made the appointment after making the purchase. The appointment process was easy and very flexible to meet my schedule. I was contacted about 30-45 min prior to my appointment to notify me that they were on the way. The technician arrived on time as scheduled and immediately started to work and advised that it would take about 1 hr. The work was completed and the door was demonstrated that it was working smoothly and quietly. The technician noticed that I had some pool chemicals in the garage and advised that I store them outside in storage since they can not only cause corrosion to the door hinges, rollers, springs etc. but they can also cause corrosion to other items in the garage. I was very appreciative for the suggestion. The door works better than when it was brand new.

My door had problems closing properly each time after I bumped it with the car. Yes came out and cleaned and lubricated the door and did their best to repair the buckle in the door with angle iron, saving me the price of a new door for now. The technician was courteous and professional and even with the extra repair did not charge me extra. I will buy a new door from them, but alas, another day. I highly recommend YES doors.

We purchased a Big Deal $89 for a garage door tune-up plus replacing your rollers. They came in a they did replace the rollers but the door is still loud. I assumed new rollers would fix that issue. I don't feel this was that great of a deal. The guy was nice but don't feel the service was worth $89.

The team arrived promptly, performed the work quickly, and did a great job. I am very pleased with their work!

I bought the Angie's List Big Deal with Yes Doors. They called me rather than me having to call them, which was a pleasant surprise. They arrived on time, examined, tightened, and lubricated my 30 year old garage door, gave me information on what to expect when it (soon) will need replacing, and installed the keypad. The technician showed me how to use the keypad and gave me the owner's manual. Friendly representative on the phone, friendly repairman doing the service. It's a great company, and I'll use them when I have to replace the door.

I called Tonya on Friday and she was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. Ben arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and courteous. I do wish that they had inquired beforehand about the brand of door because it turned out that they do not carry bottom seals for Overhead Door brand garage doors. Because of this I had to have the old bracket removed and a new one that works with the type of seal they have installed. My other option was to ask them to order a seal from Overhead Doors for them to install later. Despite this minor oversight I am very pleased with the service and workmanship that was provided and I do plan to use Yes Doors again in the future. This is because Ben went above and beyond all of my expectations. Not only did he perform an excellent tune-up and installation of the new bottom seal, he noticed issues with one of the openers that might lead to problems in the future, provided options for replacement but did not try to sell me anything I did not need. Instead he suggested that I keep an eye on it just in case it started getting worse. He also took time to clean up some debris that had gotten in around the doors (due to a bad bottom seal ? which he fixed), and when he noticed that the emergency release cable on one of the doors was too long he took the initiative to shorten it. Well done Yes Doors! You have my business in the future and my recommendation.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. It went well; they did a nice job at a good price. They were efficient and took care of it in a very acceptable manner and time frame. I had the service done within a week after I bought the service. There were a couple of additional things that needed to be done that I authorized. It cost about an extra $50.

Provider called to establish date and time of service. Was on time. Performed the work we contracted for and did not try to up-sell us on any additional services. Serviceman was polite and seemed very knowledgeable about his trade. I would recommend Yes Doors without reservation.

On time, very professional and knowledgeable. Found a rather worn piece of our opener that needed to be replaced. The only negative is that it was a $99 value and if I would have had a single 2-car garage door I would have only paid $99. But, as I have 2 single garage doors, the cost doubled. It was still a good value but that should probably be made more clear in the next coupon offer.

It was a positive experience. I remember a young man came out here. He did a nice job and he was here on time. The price was fine. It was an acceptable price considering he drove all the way out here and did it. That was a good deal. He did a good job on the products and the garage door still works well a year later so I'm happy about that whole experience. We had an appointment, he showed up at the time he was supposed to and he explained to me what he was doing and what the benefit of it was and then some alternatives that I might have if I wanted to replace the opener some time in the future.

Awesome experience...I wish all service providers were as proficient, expedient and courteous as Ben and Tonya! I highly recommend them and will use them for all my future service needs. Ben alerted me to some normal "wear and ter" items to watch for so I could prevent any major repairs in the future.

I just used an Angie's List special coupon for "Yes Doors" and was MORE than pleased! The owner, Ben Ham, came and did maintenance work and some repairs on my garage door. He took his time, was very thorough, competent, friendly, and honest. While he was here I asked him for an estimate for another project and he dutifully gave me the quote, but strongly urged me NOT to do it, even though it would have been profitable for him. (Another company happily gave me a quote and was VERY eager for me to proceed with the project.) He took the time to patiently explain why the project was unwise. The company's superior ratings are well deserved--they are EXCELLENT. His wife, Tanya, answers the phone and she is delightful. Thank you both.

They arrived on time, did the installation quickly, professionally, and neatly. The next day I had a problem with the door closing. I called the office and Ben came by within half an hour to do an adjustment, and now the door works perfectly. Ben is very professional and polite, and it was a pleasure to do business with this company.
