Texas Tree Surgeons

Description of Work: Dallas Tree Surgeons was supposed to trim a tree in our front yard and clean up all the debris. They did a less than satisfactory job and left debris all over our yard. Our yard guy complained that week and he had to do extra work to clean up their mess. I paid the invoice which was emailed to me and failed to realize there was a sales tax applicable, I didn't scroll down far enough to see it and just mailed the check off. They called me for payment of the sales tax like a bill collector - they were very rude. I will not use them in the future. Poor quality and even poorer customer service.

Description of Work: My second time with this firm, first under current ownership. Professional, on time and lived up to my expectations. Two very large live oaks needed major cut-back. Estimator checked in with me several times, estimate was spot - on, the crew came late on Friday afternoon as scheduled and a second crew came towards the end of the job to help the first guys. Crew chief Salvador went over with me the progress, asked me many times; "do you want that branch taken off" and also held me back from over-trimming. They cleaned up and left no trace except really nicely trimmed trees that let in the air and light. Use this firm., you will be happy you did. By the way, the climber/trimmers all used safety harness and ropes, tethered saws. No monkey business, all serious workers got the job done. If you use a yard service and the climber falls out of your tree, or drops a branch through your window. its going to be on you.

Description of Work: Some limbs fell from one of my mighty trees after the DALLAS SNOWSTORM in February, 2010) onto my roof. Amy came out an gave me an estimate. Her crew came on 3/10 and disposed of the huge limbs rapidly and before my eyes they chipped up the trees and they were gone. They spoke mostly Spanish and I spoke enough Spanish to express my gratitude and make them all smile.

Description of Work: Trimmed 6 big trees.
