Proposal was received timely and work performed when scheduled. There was phone follow up to measure satisfaction.

I contacted them through their website. They communicated both through e-mail and by phone when handling the estimate. There was a small mix-up on their end with what was to be included in the estimate. It didn't affect me, but their person had to come by twice to confirm the final estimate. The job was confirmed on a Thursday, with promise of it being completed by the following Friday. It was done three days earlier than promised. I wasn't home when the work was done, but when I returned there was no sign that work had been done besides he fact that my trees were all taken care of. Very thorough service and clean-up. I hadn't had my trees trimmed in the six years I've lived here, so it was a long overdue job. I probably could have gotten it done more cheaply, but I did not want the risk of an uninsured worker on my property for such a big job. I'm very pleased with the result and the communication from the company throughout.

Estimate was done on the same day I called. They completed the work 2 days later. The estimator also explained to our renter how to properly care for the newly sodded backyard. The work was performed timely and in a professional manner.

This was a great company to work with. First someone gave us an estimate. She was polite and professional and, poor thing had to give me the estimate in the rain, walking around our property looking at all the trees to give us pricing. When there were a few changes we wanted to make on the day the work was being done, the crew called the girl who had given us the estimate and she came out to discuss it with me to make sure they did exactly what I wanted. I would definitely use the Dallas Tree Surgeons when it comes time to trim again.

Amy was very professional and even called out a second opinion when her diagnosis was a fatal disease. The second opinion matched hers. She was very communicative throughout. Although the prognosis was not what I had hoped for, the experience was good.

This company is great. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with. They did me a favor and cut up the tree and stacked it so I could use it for firewood. They also took the time to send me a thank you card for selecting them to do the job. I would definitely recommend them and I plan on using them again when needed.

They did a good job on the damaged trees, but was a little upset that they didn't get all the dead wood out of one of the non-damaged trees. I didn't pay them right away, and called to tell them about the problem. They asked me to pay and said they would look into the deadwood issue. I never heard from them again.

Great! I had that they let me know when the workers would be at the property and when they expected to finish. Very professional organization.

The arborist, Amy, came the day after I first contacted the company and was right on time (maybe even a little early!). Her info was clear and she answered all of my questions and gave me an estimate on the spot, which proved to be exactly what I was charged. The cut-down crew arrived punctually and worked carefully and efficiently. They were especially careful about wires and roof. It took a crew of 10-12 men about 4 hours to take down this 90+ year old tree. They cleaned up beautifully and hauled away the debris. The next day, someone showed up right at the time I requested to grind the stump.

A certifiied arborist with Dallas Tree Surgeons came out to assess our needs and discuss our options. A crew came out on July 19th to do the pruning and a special team came out on the following day to iinstall the bolt and cable. Without the bolt and cable the tree would likely have split in half during a storm. I have been very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend Dallas Tree Surgeons.

A representative showed up about midday on the agreed date(a Friday). We discussed what I wanted. He made suggestions and gave me a quote. I elected to proceed immediately. The representative said that a crew would be here by the following Friday. They actually arrived on Tuesday (after the 4-Jul-10 extended holiday). All the down hanging branches and deadwood were removed. Cleanup was thorough, only a few twigs remained on the ground. They called the following day to ask whether the work was satisfactory. It was excellent. I mentioned the $50 coupon offered on the Angie's list site. Their invoice included the coupon discount. I was pleased with the service and would do business with them should I require such services in the future.

I was having some new grass planted in my front yard so I needed to have a large Red Oak tree trimmed and the canopy raised in my front yard. The work that Dallas Tree Surgeons was great. They were on-time and the quality was superb. I would definitely recommend Dallas Tree Surgeons to anyone that is need of having one of their trees trimmed.

We had a very large hackberry tree that was the last of a stand of 3 trees. The tree was beginning to lean and we decided to have it removed. I called multiple companies with estimates over $2500 before I found Dallas Tree Surgeons. I talked to the office on the phone, made an appointment for them to come out, received an estimate, scheduled the work to be done, and had the tree completely removed and I never saw a person and the entire process was done completely to my satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone.

The live oak tree was planted too close to the house and I noticed small cracks in my front patio. I called Dallas Tree Surgeons on a Friday, Lindsey came on Tuesday (since Monday was a holiday) to give me an estimate, and the tree removal was scheduled for the following Monday. The only thing I didn't grasp when I was given the estimate was that cutting the tree down and the subsequent stump grinding are procedures that happen at different times because different equipment is involved. So the tree was cut down (and my other trees trimmed) Monday and they came back to grind the stump down Tuesday. The estimate was exactly the same amount as I was billed. I went from requesting an estimate to mailing a check for completed service in less than 2 weeks. Everyone was very responsive from my first email inquiry to the estimator to the crew to the billing department. Also, the crew did a fabuous job cleaning up the work area - they even cleaned out my gutters! I will hire again without hesitation.

Very prompt and professional and I feel like they have extremely qualified people on staff. Amy came out with two days of my first call along with a trainee. She thoroughly examined the sick tree and other trees for possible damage. The treatment was inexpensive so I felt silly for delaying any action on our sick tree for 2-3 years. The workment returned two days later to do the actual treatment. There were three guys and they were also qualified to speak about how the treatment worked and a prgram for follow up. I intend to call them back when seasonal pruning and feeding is needed.

From the first phone call to the clean up from the job, these guys are good. They give quick estimates and return phone calls very well. I am impressed with how they always talk through the best plan and services they can offer. Quality of pruning is outstanding. They leave the trees looking beautiful and healthy and understand the correct way to trim a tree. Clean up is great too. Job site looked fantastic after they left.

As it was our first experience, they sent out one of their certified arborists to help explain the job and ease are concerns. Normally, just the tree trimming crew would have been out there, but they've done this so many times that they know exactly what to do as well. But, it was helpful having the arborist out there to show us what they would do and why. They also hauled the debris away. Great service, great price, on-time and cleanup was a bonus!

Overall everything went great. I wish they could have come out sooner, but 1 week is still a great response time from estimate until complete job.

Exceptional service and great quality as well. The crew was so large that it only took about 25 min. to trim, clear and clean up everything. Very very happy with the work. Even got a thank you card for using their service and a note saying a tree would be planted in the national forest for having used them. Pretty cool.

I was one of many whose property suffered tree damage when the Dallas area was struck by that record snowfall in February 2010. Dallas Tree Surgeons did the job quickly and left me a large pile of cedar mulch, which itself has considerable value. The company representative making the proposal was a certified arborist. I had another proposal also for $250, but it involved leaving the wood for City pickup or hauling it away for an additional $50. That outfit could not turn it into mulch on the spot. A couple of other proposals I got were higher than $400, and they did not leave me with mulch, either.

Arborist Amy came to the house as scheduled and provided an estimate. She explained in detail what was going on with each tree and options. She also provided as estimate on the different options and by item. We could choose to do a little or all of it. I called later and asked a few questions, which she was able to answer over the phone. We scheduled the service, and they came out, again as scheduled. We had 1 very large dead tree and 1 very large dying tree removed close to the house in front and trimming in the backyard. Dallas Tree Surgeons did a great job: the trees came down and everything was cleaned great, all in the morning. I was expecting it to take a while, but it must have only taken hours. When I looked at the yard in the afternoon, the trees were gone/trimmed and the yard was cleaned so well you couldn't even tell it was recent work, which was a nice surprise. I was expecting saw dust, or a trample lawn, but the lawn looked untouched, with the exception of the removed trees. They were scheduled to grind the stumps a few days later, but weather got in the way. They came back on the next clear day and finished the work. The bill came a few days later in the mail, and it is actually a little under the estimate. We are very happy with the service and plan to use them for future trimming needs. I also REALLY appreciated they came out exactly when scheduled. One suggestion for anyone getting trees removed: They left the ground mulch from grinding the stumps in the yard. Amy explained that they would do this, so that's not a problem, but the size of the piles was a big surprise. I should have asked how much mulch there would be since we have no idea what to do with this now. If you grind large stumps, you should have a plan for the mulch.

I submitted a request for them to come out to review our tree on their website on a Sunday and they came out Monday morning. I thought I knew what was wrong with the tree and wanted to find out if I was correct and if the tree could be saved. They diagnosed the tree and let me know that unfortunately it could not be saved due to the amount of damage. Then they provided an estimate for tree removal and stump grinding. We cannot have the work performed at this time but will be sure to use them when having the tree removed in the future.

They were wonderful in identifying the issue and giving us solutions for the same. So, we were able to save money, without having them service it. We felt that it was a wonderful and a very proactive move from their end. Our experience with them was very good. We?ll definitely use them again in the future.

They did a good job. They came out and gave me an estimate. They came out and did the work. The price was great. They were prompt. They cleaned up every piece of scrap that they cut down from the trees in my yard. I didn?t have to do anything.
