We lost a number of limbs from 2 large trees in our front yard due to the ice on the weekend of Dec. 5. They came out to access the damage and quoted us a price. We asked their recommendation on what was the best way to handle the trimming to keep the trees as strong as possible and they gave their advice which we followed (an btw was not the more expensive route). They said they would be out the following week to do the work and would invoice us. They were out the next week, did the trimming and cleaned up the yard from their work and we received an invoice about a week later. We were very pleased and will use them again. As busy as all the tree trimming places were at that time we felt like they were very prompt in getting to us.

They came by and gave an estimate and made an appointment. They arrived for the trimming on time. They were cheerful and polite . . did a great job on the tree and saved what was left of the branch. They brought a chipper with them so they left with my yard completely picked up.

Crew showed up a day early. Informed me that they were here. Proceeded to trim out limbs as originally requested. Andy had dropped by the day I called and wrote out a proposal and scheduled the job for Wednesday. The crew happened to drop by the day before and completed the job to my satisfaction. The yard was cleaned up and they left within 35 minutes. They did an excellent job.

Work went well. Initially the workmen asked my husband what was to be done as I was out. My husband really didn't know what I had discussed with the estimator. The workmen called in to their office and were busy working all issues by the time I go home. I confirmed the work list with them when I got home and they knew what to do and were on target with everything.

The response was fast, the work was done well and quickly and much lower priced than the competition. Excellent work and I would highly recommend Dallas Tree Surgeons for the future.

WOW!. That huge pecan tree was down in 20 minutes and cleaned up and hauled away in another 25. I was impressed. AND, Hannah called to tell me they were on the way and they were at my door as promised at the time scheduled. Today all 5 stumps were ground out for me. Again, Hannah called to let me know when he would arrive and he was right on time and done much more quickly than I could have imagined. The fellow who did this work even rescued and replanted some purple coneflowers that would have been lost otherwise. I am totally impressed with the quality of the service this company provides and will gladly share their info with anyone who might need them.

Dallas Tree Surgeons were excellent! We had estimates from tree companies prior to choosing this company to do our work. Dallas Tree Surgeons sent Lindsay to look at our trees and give an estimate. She was the only true Arborist that came to our home. Their price wasn't the cheapest, but we felt so comfortable with Lindsay and her knowledge that we chose them to do the work. Even at that, they came in approximately $1500 what we expected to pay for their service. It was the best decision we made. Our trees were beautifully trimmed and manicured. It looked as if our entire property was lighter and airier, almost like it could breathe better. I can't say enough about Dallas Tree Surgeons. They truly did a superb job and we will definitely use them again!

Dallas Tree Surgeons did a fantasic, professional job. After I called to request service, Lindsey went to my house and sent me an estimate within about two hours (amazing!). They scheduled me for two days later. I left that morning for work and when I got home, the trees looked great and the clean-up after was nicer than it was before they got there. The trees surrounding my house very large, so it's a tough job and at about $250 per tree, the price is better than some of the guys who drive around in a truck, knock on your door and hack at your trees with no plan. This is the third time in about ten years I've used Dallas Tree Surgeons and they've done an excellent job every time.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER COMPANIES ON THIS PROJECT: Got two bids from other companies - the first at a jaw-dropping $11K (said it would take 4-5 days). The second bid was $5400 though company said they needed a crane. Scheduled that removal. On the day that they were supposed to be working, went to the house and no one was there working. Called them. They said they needed a bigger crane and that the new price would be $7200. Waited a month (calling them twice a week for updates) for them to get a crane, but they never could coordinate. Cancelled that request in frustration. MY EXPERIENCE WITH DALLAS TREE SURGEONS: Went on Angie's List and found Dallas Tree Surgeons. Called them. They came out the same day and gave me a price ($3900 for the main cottonwood) the same day. I agreed to it. They were in my yard the next week and in ONE day the tree was down...without a crane. I subsequently asked them to remove three other little trees and do stump grinding so they did that too on the next day. It took one more day to stump grind the cottonwood and the whole mess was done. Additionally, Lindsey, an arborist at Dallas Tree Surgeons gave me lots of advice about planting new trees and suggestions about where to go for perennials. They were awesome. I will recommend them to anyone who asks. They were cheaper, faster, knowledgable, professional...will use them again for sure.

Hannah came out for the quote promptly, understood the situation (trimming a tree that wasn't in my yard but over my property line), the crew came out on time and quickly trimmed the tree and efficiently disposed of the trimmings and did an excellent job of cleaning up. The backyard was cleaner after they left than when before they started. I love these guys.

Hannah looked at a Red Oak tree in the front yard. She said that it needed to be watered and fertilized. We have used the company previously and were very satisfied.

Pruned back and opened up a large Live Oak tree in my front. Tree looks SO much better. They did a beautiful job and left no clutter behind.

Perfect. I felt that my trees were in the best hands possible. They cleaned up all the limbs & took them away also. Would refer them to anyone needing a knowledgeable arborist.

I phoned on Saturday and an estimator came out on Monday. The quote was fair so I hired them to do the work. They came out on Wednesday and completed the scheduled work. I have two large trees in the front yard which they trimmed beautifully. They also removed four smaller trees. Two of the smaller trees were very close to the house but they took them out without any problems. One of the other trees was next to my pool and had five trunks but they got it out without dropping a bunch of stuff in the pool. They also took care of the stumps from these trees. They did a great job and I will use them again if needed.

Having just purchased home, I noticed the front tree had a huge limb missing. Lindsey came out and looked over tree. She gave me choices in different price ranges as to what to do with tree. Cut it down, Trim it, Save it by treating it and bracing it. Two sets of teams came out; one to treat bugs in the open wound and the second team to trim the heavy branches and allow light to reach below. It was like a fine oiled machine. Everyone I met was professional and knowledgeable. I would hire them again.

During a recent wind storm a large tree limb (about 10 inches in diameter) broke and was still hanging from one of our trees. I consulted Angie?s List and chose to call Dallas Tree Surgeons. One of their arborists, Lindsey West, came out a few hours after I called. She assessed the damage and recommended that in addition to removing the broken limb, we also have the other side of the tree trimmed substantially because of the weight imbalance. She was very professional in her presentation and pleasant to talk to. Early the next morning a crew arrived and performed the agreed upon work. They removed the broken tree limb and trimmed the other side of the tree. After my inspection, they hauled off all of the debris. The crew did an excellent and professional job. My only complaint with Dallas Tree Surgeons (and it is a minor one) concerns the invoice I received a couple of weeks after the work was done. The invoice just said ?Fix Storm Damage,? and did not indicate the date that the work was done. Additionally, the invoice showed a due date that was one day after I received the invoice which is physically impossible. A quick call to their office assured me my payment wouldn?t be considered late, but I still think specifying an impossible due date shows a problem with their office staff or billing system. As I said, this was a small issue and I would not hesitate to recommend Dallas Tree Surgeons to anyone needing assistance with their trees.

I had a tree in my front yard that was split down the middle. It was held together by bungee cords. On Thursday the 30th of May I came home and it was split even further and was threatening to break off on to the roof. I called this company, Andy the arborist came out the next day earlier than the expected time. Assessed the situation, called a crew and the crew came out a few hours later. 30 minutes later the tree was down and the following Monday they came out and ground the stump and pulled the roots. It was fun to watch the crew especially the lead cutter who tied himself to the tree was using a chainsaw one handed. Plus I had never seen a wood chipper in action like that. Wow. The crew cleaned up thanked me and was on their way. They took the time to ensure everything was safe. I am planning on using this company in the fall to trim my other trees. I know the work will be professional.

I was concerned that a neighbor's tree might spread disease to my very nice healthy tree. Hannah explained that the diseased tree did not have anything that could cause mine to have an issue and that mine did not need to be treated. She did not charge me. I was really impressed.

i emailed the company and received a call the same day. was told someone could be out in a couple days then they called back to say he could come out the same day. they came out...wrote stuff on a note pad...took some measurements...explained the process in detail to me and he was gone. I received a detailed estimate by email with an attached guide explaining what to expect to see after the tree was cut and stump grinded. They were actually 100.00 more than my lowest bid but the promptness and professionalism made me choose them. I told them I wantedthe work done. A couple days later I took my daughter to school, got back home and this 30 year old eyesore was gone. The next day I ran an errand and got home and the stump had been grinded. Two days later I received an invoice through email. I clicked pay and paid online. The entire process was quick, smooth, and headache free. Would def do business with them again.

I received a phone call on 04/22/13 indicating that their office person believed that Murphy was too far to even provide a bid. She claimed that they would need to drive 100 miles to get to Murphy; so they are not interested in providing a quote.
