Excellent response time to my initial inquiry, the walk-through and quote, and the actual job; in total, about a week. They work rain or shine and this was a week of rain! Everyone was very good to work with from the office staff, to Andy who did the quote, to the team who performed the work. They arrived on time, verified the trees to be done, and worked quickly and efficiently as a team. They cleaned up the work areas very well - even the very small branches as I was concerned about dog paws. They even cut up and removed a large trunk branch that had fallen before they arrived. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone needing tree trimming or removal.

We called for an estimate on a Wednesday. The following day Emily, the arborist, came over and gave us the estimate. By the following Tuesday the crew was trimming the trees. Communication with the office staff/arborist was excellent. The crew was polite and addressed any questions or concerns we had while they were trimming the trees.

The estimate was made on one day and then a few days later the crew came out. The crew was quick and thorough. Very little mess left. The tree looks good. I will definitely use them again.

There were some delays in the schedule due to the snow. The workers came the following week and worked according to the specs. provided. They worked great together as an unit, shredding and cleaning up the branches and trash. Communication was minimal but sufficient for the work performed.

My maple tree was very sick and I was concerned it was becoming dangerous. I selected 3 A rated company's from Angie's List and requested. estimates. All 3 agreed this tree was too sick to be saved. Dallas Tree Surgeons gave me the best price by a few hundred dollars. The price above includes tax and a 10% Angie's List senior discount. I initially contacted Dallas Tree Surgeons by filling out their "Request an estimate" form on their web site. I got back an email rather quickly saying they would be out the next day for the estimate. They showed up as promised. After getting all estimates I contacted them the following Wednesday and accepted their estimate. They said they would have a team out Friday to do the work. The team showed up at 8:00am Friday morning as promised. I call them a team rather than a crew because these guys worked really well together. During the highest estimate I was told it would be an all day job. This team had the tree down, loaded on their trailer, cleaned up the mess and were gone in just under 2 hours. Taking down a tree this size in a residential area can be hazardous. They did it quickly without any injuries and no damage to any property. I was very impressed with this team. The following Monday, as promised, a guy showed up at 8:00am to do the stump grinding. Another great job done quickly and professionally. I am very pleased with the entire experience I had with Dallas Tree Surgeons.

I was very, very pleased all around. The price of $270 was $200 less than the estimate I got from another Angie's list recommended business. They came out on time, did the job very well, cleaned up well, and were gone! The only thing they left was a beautifully trimmed tree. I didn't pay anything until the job was done. They were very professional all around, from my phone calls to their office to the guys that did the tree trimming. I couldn't be happier.

Excellent! They use arborists. They're not just people who come knocking on your door and claim to know how to cut trees only to leave them looking horrible. They are very careful in what they do. They default on taking care of the tree rather than just cutting the limbs. I had some growth on the tree and I wasn't sure if it was disease or what not and they just explained that it was normal with oaks. In a lot of places, they would have put it away. They were honest, good, and neat. They were quick and when they were done, it looked better than I had hoped it would. When you stand beneath the big oak, it looks like the canopy of an umbrella but from the side, it still looks fall. That was awesome.

It was great. They gave us the best estimate. It was really good. They were timely. After they did the work, I thought that something wasn't right. They came back and explained it to me. It was totally my mistake but they were patient with me and it was good.

They offered me a discount but when I did receive the invoice (bill) there was no discount. I again had to call and complain. The owner of the company or boss, no sure called me and made excuses. I ended up getting a less that 10% discount.

They listen and they don't over do. They did a good job cleaning up the trees. They also made them healthier. They are super prompt. I called them and the lady was out to do the bid within a few hours. We scheduled to have the work done later that week. I have used them twice since i've looked them up.

They did an excellent job. The price was the most competetive of seven bids that I had.

This was our second time using the company, and everything went well. The crew was very professional, it did a good job, and it cleaned up nicely before leaving. Furthermore, the company was very responsive and communicative when I asked it to confirm that it was insured.

I waited all day for them to deliver the tree They finally arrived at 6 pm and did a superb job of planting the tree. Apart from that they were easy and pleasant to work with.

They cut a tree down for us and grounded the stump. They did a great job. They were very fast, In and out in the that 1.5 hrs.

First, their estimate was hundreds of dollars less than other providers. They were easy to schedule and showed up on time. The job took exactly the time they estimated. Access to the tree was limited by a fence on one side and a pool on the other. They also had to navigate through a flower bed. They were able to get to the tree and get it down without damaging other plants. They hand-carried pieces of the tree through the flower bed to the alley. In addition to the limited access, the tree was rotted and the smell was unbelievably bad. They were good natured about it. The tree was also full of putrid water that soaked almost all the crew. Again, they powered through without complaint. Afterward, they cleaned the site up. We were tremendously pleased with the job and the crew.

On September 23rd I contacted them through Angies List to come look at some trees in my front yard. Andrea answers and says I will have someone come out tomorrow and look at them for you. Then I don't hear anything else from them. So on October 1st I contact them again and ask if some one did indeed come look at my trees. Andrea answered and said Yes that Hannah had come out and looked at them and left me a message. I never received any message from anyone. She said she will have Hannah email the estimate to me. I confirmed the email address just in case. Now it is October 6th and I have still not heard one word from them. Last Friday we had a big storm that affected a great many trees in the metroplex. I'm sure they are plenty busy right now. But I reminded them that my request came almost 2 weeks prior to the storm. I had used them in the past and was satisfied with their work. I expected more from them. They definitely did not treat me like a returning customer. The worst thing is feeling lied to and mislead about what they had done and would do.

They were the only company I called that actually answered the phone. I'm still waiting for 2 to call me back days later. Initially they said an estimator would be out within a few days but when I explained the circumstances, she found someone who was out within a few hours. The person who came out was very professional and knowledgeable. She seemed to know every tree and everything about every tree. She gave a very reasonable estimate for the work I wanted (another company wanted $690 to remove the same damage she quoted $150). She looked at a few trees in our yard and found some fungus on one that she said we would likely need to address long term but it never felt like an up-sell. They were prompt, responsive, and no stress for a very reasonable amount of money. I can't address the actual tree removal process because we did go in a different direction but if I ever have tree issues again, Dallas Tree Surgeons will be my first call.

We dealt with Andy for the estimate and he provided good insight and flexibility on what we wanted done, to facilitate more sunlight for our lawn and shape the trees. The crew arrived for the job on time and was professional, polite, and made sure that the trees looked great and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Communicating with the company was a breeze, with fast responses and online invoicing options. Overall, a very good experience!

When I contacted them, they were immediately responsive, came by to discuss the details and followed up immediately with an estimate. They had a crew out within a week. They were quick, quiet and entire professional. Every scrap was cleaned up and the trees look fantastic. I plan to use them again in the future.

Service was excellent. Chris walked me through what would need to be done and I received a quote that evening. It was $1000 less than another highly rated local company. The tree cutters arrived on time and completed the job without any mishap ahead of schedule. I experienced no inconvenience or disruption, and would highly recommend this company.

Dallas Tree Surgeons came out the day after I called about a branch that split on my live oak when the neighbor's bradford pear fell over in a wind storm and hit my tree on the way down. It wasn't real heavy, but it was resting on the fence. Discussed cleaning up the center and leaving the canopy as is for privacy. Estimate was provided and determined to be the minimum charge. Work was scheduled for the end of the week ahead of the next predicted storm. Called back the next day about another small tree that's hard to reach by ladder due to slope of yard. Estimate for that one was provided the day the workers came out. It was only a little extra so gave the go ahead. Workers were puntual and friendly. Supervisor was very knowledgeable. They trimmed both trees and cleaned up. While there, they advised me of city code for how high and wide the trees are allowed to be so trash trucks can get through which I would have been unaware of otherwise. Based on that info, asked what it would cost to trim a couple of branches on the alley side to be in code and was told since they were already there and extra branches were smaill there would be no extra charge. Trees look great, everything was cleaned up nice, price was reasonable, service was very prompt, and got helpful info about city code and how to keep the tree cleaned out in future. Will definitely call again the next time my trees need trimming.

There were 5 guys in this crew, they arrived on time and started working immidiately. As they finished a tree, Pedro, the crew foreman, asked me if I needed anything else done to the tree. On 1 of the 4 trees, I asked Pedro to remove 1 more branch, which he quickly got his crew working on it. The crew is very professional and polite. They cleaned up after the job, and all the material was loaded onto their trailer and hualed off. I was very happy happy happy with their work.

I wanted a lighter trimming on my two trees than most homeowners. Dallas Tree Surgeons worked with me and we agreed on a price I was comfortable with. They even came back to trim more over a neighbor's satellite dish.
