Description of Work: I called and asked for an estimate on vinyl fencing. I was asked for my address and email address. The party on the other end told me that they would have someone come out and look at my property and they would email an estimate to me. I thought, okay, they are very busy so I can call and ask questions after the email. I never got an email. I never got a call. After accepting what was an impersonal response to my request for service, I was disappointed even further by not getting any follow up on this request. I expect more for my money. My impression is that they just don't want it. And now, I don't want them.

Description of Work: Replaced fence around back yard - nice options for design , stain colors for wood . Used the wood prestained at factory becUse of the time of year. Due to weather they called the second day to say they could it work but when it stopped raining , a smaller crew came out to work . They were good about solving problem with slope and lost dirt from beds in back , gave me 2 estimates since they could not tell exactly how much more length to fence in that area would be neededFences finished in 2 days . There was only one problem : part of the contractural agreement was taking down and disposing of the old fence. I had to cal office multiple times to get them to haul away the old fence . It. Was nChristmas holidays however and people were likely busy .

Description of Work: they sell and then do not stand behind what they say. purchased a gate and fencing from them. i was told because of soil conditions i would need to purchase a larger fencepost and have additional concrete poured - AT ADDITIONAL COST OF COURSE - or i would have problems with the gate post shifting. since they charged extra and supposedly addressed the issue of movement with a larger post and additional concrete the foreman wrote that i had a 5 year warranty. well the issue was not addressed. about 1 1/2 years pass and the post moves. they come out, cut off the post, make an adjustment, and weld it together. a few months later said post moves agian. this time the owner, terry, says 1) they do not cover it and 2) the warranty is only 2 years (i have 5 in writing signed by the foreman). so now the whole gate is out of line and the gate opener does not function properly due to the misalignment. btw, when things were going on terry was difficult to reach. numerous emails through the web site went unanswered. phoning was often not sucessful either. another problem was that the crews just "show up" to do work without an appointment or phone call. i found this to be very disturbing since i have 3 dogs and other animals onthe property.

Description of Work: Used this company to install an 8 ft privacy fence, board on board, cedar, stained, with metal support poles. Got estimate and they were very quick in tearing down the old fence, but then I had to wait approx 2 months before they started installing the new fence, supposedly because the stain color I wanted was not in stock. After the fence was installed they came to spray on the stain and could not finish the entire fence because of a row of shrubs along the back. I paid to have the shrubs removed and it was like pulling teeth to get them to come back out and finish the staining. I am mainly writing this because now, several years later, I'm having to have someone come in and re-pour more concrete on the poles and straighten them up because they are leaning toward the yard. Would I recommend or use again? No! Cannot remember what I paid, but their prices are not exorbant.

Description of Work: Sunnyvale came out to give an estimate for a fence w/ gate. Their pricing was very reasonable. I received a few other estimates from other reputable fencing companies and theirs was definitely priced better than others. There are two reasons that I did not move forward with them: 1) I learned that the gate that I wanted was not going to be possible due to the alley being too narrow...several of the other fence companies brought that to my attention but Sunnyvale didn't, leading me to believe that they are a company that will do whatever the customer asks...even though...it may be the wrong thing to do. That's NEVER a good situation. 2) The rep that came out was a little "too friendly" and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Description of Work: CALLED 6/1/05 AND STATED TO WOMAN ANSWERING PHONE THAT I HAD A CEDAR FENCE THAT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. TO DATE NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALL. I WILL CONTACT ANOTHER COMPANY THIS WEEK.

Description of Work: THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE BACKYARD FENCE. THEY TOOK DOWN THE OLD FENCE, HAULED IT OFF AND CONSTRUCTED A NEW ONE, PIECE BY PIECE (NOT IN PRE-MADE SECTIONS). THEY REMOVED THE OLD POSTS AND INSTALLED NEW ONES.

Description of Work: THEY TORE OUT PARTS OF FENCE, AND REPLACED IT WITH CEDAR POSTS. THEY ALSO INSTALLED TWO GATES.
