They're great! They have good pricing and stick to their schedule. They're very respectable, very professional, and very up-front about everything.

I contacted Milestone Electric about installing a 30 amp outlet on my outside garage wall so that I could plug my RV in while parked. Purpose of doing that at home is to keep the 2 12 volt batteries in the RV charged, since many of the electrical components of an RV are 12 volt, and to also be able to run the Air Conditioning in the RV. I told the person I spoke to on the phone that I had already bought a 30 amp outlet box at Home Depot awhile back since an electrician friend of mine was going to initially due the work, but since he had been unable to get to it I decided to just hire out. Electrician Adam Lopspeich came out on 6/27/2016 to do the work. The quote was $633.00 which I thought was a bit high but I decided to go ahead and just get it over with. After about an hour worth of work during which they installed a breaker in my electric panel, ran the wire from the panel to the outlet on the other side of the wall (less than 5 ft.) I was told all was ready to test. Adam plugged the RV cord in, we opened the door of the RV and there was smoke. Adam said “where’s that coming from’ I responded that I thought they had fried the converter in the RV. I opened the panel in the RV and the main breaker was thrown. Adam told his helper to unplug the RV. He then realized they had put a 240 volt breaker in my electric panel instead of the 120 that should have been installed. The box for the RV outlet clearly showed that this was a 120 / 30 amp outlet. (See picture) They switched out the breaker for the correct breaker and plugged back in. I was still at this point pretty sure they had fired the converter in the RV but was assured that wasn’t the case since things were ‘working’ . Before he left Adam asked if I would like for him to do a safety inspection of the electrical components in my house. Uh, pretty sure you just smoked the converter in the RV… so, No. I had to sign that I refused the electrical inspection. I feel this is just a means of upselling services. Fast forward a couple of days. I went into the RV and the lights were dim and nothing would turn on. The generator would not start because the house batteries were nearly depleted. I tested to see if there was voltage going to the batteries to keep them charged while the RV was plugged in… nothing. A sure sign the converter was in fact not working. I also put a circuit analyzer on the RV outlet that had been installed and was getting a reverse polarity indicator… telling me the outlet was miswired as well. (See picture) I called Milestone back and they sent Adam back out with another electrician on 7/27/2016. The other electrician, I believe his name was Scott, took one look at the way the outlet and the breaker were wired and knew immediately they were not done correctly. I did point out that the cover on the outlet box did have a wiring diagram (see picture). Scott fixed the outlet while Adam checked the RV. The problem here is that Adam didn’t really understand the way the RV converter works. The batteries will charge off the engine in the RV running or the generator … or when the RV is plugged into a 120 v power source. Because he saw the batteries charging when the engine was on and the generator he was convinced the issue was fixed. Even after I demonstrated to them that when plugged in there was no charge going to the batteries. After they left I called the office and asked to speak to someone in charge. Chad Garrettson spoke to me and, thankfully, he has a travel trailer and he knew exactly what I was talking about. He agreed that Milestone would pay for the repair of the RV. After calling around I was able to find an RV repair place that would be able to do the repair before my upcoming trip. This is a busy time of year for RV repair and I was lucky to be able to get it in and get it done. True to their word Milestone paid the RV Repair place (Danny’s RV in Denton) directly. I will add that having to get the repair done was a huge inconvenience to me and put my planned trip in jeopardy. I had to arrange for rides back and to the repair facility. If I would have had to cancel the trip it would have cost me a couple hundred dollars in entry fees for the event I was going to. This all should have never happened. I hired this company based on their reputation. I feel for the quality of work and the less than $100 worth of materials used that the $633 charge was pretty dang high. Yes, they ended up paying the over $300.00 in repair costs for the RV, but they never should have had to do that if the work had been done correctly to begin with. I feel this company is very concerned about and responsive to customer satisfaction but one botched job such as this has cost them any chance of a repeat customer. I’m grading them a D instead of an F solely based on their concern for customer satisfaction.

I had just come back from a long road trip and discovered my air conditioner was not cooling. On Saturday, I called Milestone and within 4 hours, I had a nice cool house again. The technician, Chris Warn, was very professional and gracious in spite of the heat and humidity. He said they were getting lots of calls for Air Conditioning units. He was just as pleasant as he could be. He found the problem within 10 minutes, explained that the unit, which I purchased from another merchant, was still under warranty and I could get it repaired for less money if I used the original vendor. However, since I had called the original vendor and was given no idea as to when or even if they would come out and repair it, I decided to spend the extra money and have Milestone repair it. I appreciated his honesty in letting me know about the cost difference. However, Milestone has always been there whenever I needed electrical work and I know I can count on them. That's the important feature I look for: honesty and dependability.

Great service. Our electrician, Rodney Rasmussen, was skilled, professional, courteous, and well equipped (big truck, everything he needed was in it. Our dishwasher circuit was down and we needed someone to come over the weekend. As i understand it, Milestone's electricians are able to volunteer for weekend work, so Rodney was working by choice on a Saturday rather than by conscription, which can make a difference in attitude when you need help over the weekend. We felt so good about his work that once the dishwasher was repaired we asked if he could take on some more miscellaneous projects, which he gladly did and did well. Price was not cheap, but it was fair given the quality of the service.

Lawrence was awesome! He was courteous, friendly and professional and got my lights installed and working in no time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you need some quality electrical work done by a seasoned professional, call and ask for Lawrence! You be glad you did!

Chris is great at figuring out the quirkes of an old house & outside liting went out after spr storm came through. He fixed the outdated wiring in mirowave area & got the out GFI sockets installed!

Well, Milestone was impressive from the beginning. As you might expect, on time, courteous. The key here is the degree of professionalism, knowledge and just plain sharp people. This was true from all employees we have come across; techs, installers, sales and office. Great products. Class act. They explained things very clearly. They have been in business a long time and it shows. I do not mind spending a bit more for American union made products.

Very well. They were very thorough and professional. I was pleased with all of their work and feedback.

I have some knowledge of electrical repairs and their cost. I was quoted an outrageous price before they even looked at anything. I tried to politely refuse and pay for the service call charge, but I was belittled, berated and told that I did not know or understand how electricians charge. Furthermore, my electrical box was dangerous because of idiot electricians that had worked on the box before (this guy did not even open the box and the last time I had electrician replace a fuse was 25 year ago). I do not give in to scare tactics and I will not be intimidated by jerks. Be careful and don't let these guys take you.

Milestone's prices are incredibly high. Way overpriced for the service provided, especially for something so simple. The work was okay. One of the outlets was tilted a little sideways but my main objection was to the pricing. I had to set aside a half day of work so to reschedule with another company would have cost to take the additional time off. They kind of have you over a barrel at that point plus they charge you $69 if you don't do the work just for the service call for the estimate. I will not be using them again and cannot recommend them since their pricing is so out of line.

Highway robbery from this company. If you have more than one, or God help you a handful of electrical issues, I would not suggest milestone as they will charge you an arm and a leg. Originally called them to have a few GFCI outlets installed. $114 each. First ridiculously priced item. After $800+ for 6 gfci outlets, including a new J box for an exterior one (additional $185), I had him look at some exposed wiring on a recessed light. He said it just wasn't pushed down into the fixture properly. So he pushed it down in it. This was $140 for a "minor trouble shoot." There's no good will for spending $1,000 with them they will go ahead and nickel and dime you for the smallest issue. As murphys law would have it, I also had a recessed light go out the morning they were scheduled to come out. That one had a loose wire and he replaced the wire nuts (minor trouble shoot) for another $140. Was there for less than two hours. Price conscious consumer beware!

Mike W. did excellent work. Milestone's team members are always professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They get the job done!

The electrician, Jerry Vasquez, was extremely courteous and professional from the moment he came through the door and covered his shoes to protect our floors. We discussed the issues we were having with our outside Christmas lights. He determined that the plug out back was also not functioning. He diagnosed the problems, provided a couple of options/quotes and thoroughly explained everything. Once we made our decision on the option, he went right to work. Replaced the GFCI in the garage. This resolved our problems. He then performed the 33 Point Home Safety Check. Lastly, he went over the items in the Safety Check making suggestions for things we should think about in the future. We are very impressed with Jerry and if we have any other issues, we will call Milestone again. Most likely requesting Jerry (if this is an option).

The technician (Glenn) was very professional and courteous, as well as very knowledgable. He was excellent. Answered all questions. Excellent job!

It was late, dark, cold, and difficult to determine why the circuit breaker kept flipping off, but Darrell Wilson worked efficiently, patiently, and with good humor until he discovered the problem and corrected it.

It went very well. Josh and Christian arrived on time. Josh checked the breaker, wiring and specs for our new range to insure the circuit is adequate to carry the load. He explained what he could do and the cost before beginning the job. They helped get the old range to the garage, installed the new plug, and cleaned up when they finished.

They arrived in a timely manner. I love that there are no surprises. They give exact pricing by the job. They also are good about explaining all your options. The guys were very thorough and explained in detail all the components of the job. Chris was always willing to answer any questions.

Johnny Vasquez was my tech this time - the first time he has helped us. He was very friendly, and had great communication throughout the service call (I have three units so he was there a while). I also really liked the fact that he was very honest. We have three aging systems, and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. I think he gave us very good advice, and seemed very trustworthy. He also pointed out things that we needed to do to keep our units running well and most energy efficiently. He truly went out of his way to do everything possible to help us. I know we will be requesting him specifically again on our next service call.

This is a class operation. Chris Warn was extremely helpful and respectful. Jose Padilla handled the installation. He was courteous, efficient and very respectful as well. We've used Milestone for several projects now and they are always fair and true to their promise. A+ operation.

Eventually all went well. They encountered problems; first with one of the remote units and second with one of the ceiling fans. The technicians were extremely professional in dealing with these problems. They stayed with us to while we replaced the units and made sure everything worked as we had intended. Overall they did an outstanding job of being friendly and completing the tasks. They cleaned up after themselves and when they were done, it was like they weren't there, except that the requested activities were completed.

Dustin was great! He came in, did the job, cleaned up. Looks great and did the job faster than predicted!

Milestone came out and replaced power line from line in alley and installed new reinforced connections on house and replaced power panel inside house. Very professional and courteous. Would use again. Costly however due to extent of damages.

Turns out the light fixture was fine, the problem was with the light bulb I had. Milestone's electrician found my issue quickly and without doing unnecessary work or overcharging me (and actually reduced the service fee since there was nothing to repair.) These guys (may be some gals working there too) are honest and up front.
