I’ve heard they are on a little expensive side. The man that did the work was very professional. He actually came out and got me and my daughter out of a jam and then came back to redo the entire wiring.

They were timely and efficient, working with an ever expanding projects and multiple craftsmen. The worked with the schedule and it evolved.I was very pleased with their service.

We called Milestone Electric at 214-348-5100 because our Thermador cooktop had shorted out. The outlet through which it was wired no longer functioned. They instructed me that they would send out an electrician the next day and that they charged "by the task, not by the hour." The next day, I got an email, saying that Dayn Barrett would be our electrician. He arrived on time and looked at the problem, telling my husband it wasn't the junction box. He then went to the circuit breaker box, came back, and told my husband that this task would cost $380. When asked what exactly he had to do, he was vague. My husband asked if he needed to get any parts, and Dayn said no. He tried to sell us a year-long, preventative service, which my husband declined. He was then finished in a few minutes. About one week later, the same thing happened. I went out to the breaker box. There is no new wiring or equipment out there. I realized the breakers are mislabeled, and one that says "lights" is tripped. I turned it off and back on and the cooktop works. Milestone Electric charged us $380 to flip a circuit breaker, and that's not even the worst part of it. After the service call, they sent me an email asking me to submit a positive review for them on several websites, INCLUDING ANGIE'S LIST, and offered me a $25 gift card once I did so. This is a dishonest company. They are indirectly paying for positive reviews, which is against Angie's List policy. I will never use them again, and I recommend you do not use them either. NEVER USE MILESTONE!! I have since found another electrician who is honest: Electrician On Call. I highly recommend Dave. Update: After my husband contacted them, they reported that it was the electrician'a mistake and refunded our money. As always, they were very polite and friendly on the phone and in the response below. I am updating their grade to a C.

We were very happy with the work done. Justin was very professional and made excellent suggestions on the work required.

The experience was very positive for me, as a homeowner, a bit more difficult for my electricians. Every step of the way they were met with challenges. But for every challenge, they found a solution. The fan in the master bath had an extra wiring on a toggle switch and short wires, the panel box was anything but straight forward. The landscape lighting conflict took multiple pass to track down the source and all the bulbs had to be replaced. But the guys kept after it and worked through all the issues, putting in extra hours -- and the panel box passed code inspection without a hitch. The customer experience was like what every experience should be. I keep hearing about how high the price is for this company. Here's what I got for my money: the work, all of it, was completed as agreed; one year, no interest finance was arranged for with little effort on my part; someone answered my calls every time I called. Even on Sunday morning I got a call back within 10 minutes as promised. Me, my family and my home was treated with respect by every single person with whom I spoke or interacted. The electricians put on boot covers to enter my home, swept up after themselves, and had a great eye for detail. My new kitchen lights were installed and you couldn't really tell the someone just cut a whole in the ceiling. No construction mess at all. I have never encountered such service across the board with any contractor previously. For my money, it's Milestone. .

Called Milestone, they showed up that same day which was great. The servicemen (x2) were very professional, very courteous and seemed knowledgeable. I didn't really feel they were trying to upcharge me, which was good (another option was to have our entire breaker box replaced). The electricians outlined the estimate to replace all of the breakers. To be honest, I probably would not use Milestone again, mainly due to their prices. It's a very expensive company to work with (along with their "sister company" Baker Bros Plumbing). They have this up front pricing, which to some may seem like a great idea, but it's very expensive. Don't get me wrong, I do believe you get what you pay for most of the time, but there are other great electric companies out there that don't charge as much for their services. Keep in mind, Milestone has ALOT of overhead, advertising specifically, so they have to make up for that somehow. The work itself was done fairly well, however we continued to have some outages when they left and after calling Milestone to come back out, a new electrician (who was also extremly professional) said we had "a minor explosion" in the breaker box. He determined that the previous Milestone electrician had not tightened a wire enough and it was hitting against another one causing a short from time to time. It finally blew the whole breaker. He showed me the breaker and it was black and slightly melted. Thank God this wasn't a worst explosion. By the way, this was covered to replace, under their guarantee. All in all, the work was performed well, other then the first electrician missing the tightening of one of the connections. My experience was decent, but I will be calling some of the other highly rated electrician companies on Angie's List for future jobs. I think I could save quite a bit of money doing this and receive the same service and quality (as outlined by many reviews of other companies without the overhead).

On HVAC system, they made sure all was working properly, and they even tested the temperature in each room for heat and a/c. Highly satisfied. Priced competitively. On alarm system - Will save $11 each month over existing 4 year old system I had with another company.

It went great. They were on time, courteous, and handled all the work in a professional, efficient manner.

The work went well. They did a fine job. They found that our whole house was grounded.

Called Milestone on a Sunday morning; a scheduler called back within 15 minutes and we set up an appt. for Tuesday. On Tuesday, they called me about 20 minutes before the electrician arrived to let me know he was on his way. Toriano was friendly and professional; switched out the light fixtures and then checked the electrical panel, GFIs, etc. Recommended some additional work - some minor like an additional GFI; some major - replace the panel since it's 34 years old and no longer up to code (but, he assured me, still working fine and safe). Not at all pushy about the recommendations. I think the price was reasonable. If I had a gripe - and I really don't - it's the trip charge that doesn't get waived if you have the work done. I can understand a charge to come out, look around, write an estimate, etc.; it's like the charge at the mechanic's for diagnosing your car's problems. But I'm used to that charge being waived if you hire the job done and Milestone doesn't do that. To be fair, they're totally up front about this when you call AND the price for the work was very reasonable even with the trip charge so I really can't complain - it's just not what I'm used to.

Unfortunately, we decided that new floors meant new furniture, and on and on and on. Suddenly we were three times over our budget, and since we couldn't pick just one room of the three, we chose to do nothing. When we called Wynemah to tell her we had changed our minds and would return the samples she was very gracious & told us to take our time returning the samples. When we took them back Wynemah made a note of the flooring we had chosen, so that when we're ready to make the move wewould know what we wanted.

They found that the breaker box had been moved improperly by the previous residents so they moved it back for me. They were extremely efficient and worked very hard from start to finish to get the breaker box fixed. I would recommend them to everyone.

After checking the fuse box, service men said we needed to redo all the wiring in the fuse box and the wiring in the closet was wired backward. Our house is pretty large and only 7 years old - would have been a pretty big job which we felt was unneccessay. The new ballast has been working fine now though since Oct. of 2011 (1 1/2 yrs) but will not call them again.

I have hired them several times. They’re fine! I think they are very professional and they always wear booties inside the house which I appreciate as a customer. They always arrive within the time frame that they set with the appointment. I do think they are a little overpriced, but I would hire them again because I think they are a good company.

I called to have a lighting track installed in my kitchen, replace a sparking light switch, and an old closet light. After a complete electric analysis and energy audit, what they discovered (and I was thinking in the back of my mind) was...my home is very lucky to still be standing. Living by White Rock Lake we seem to have our share of electrical issues, several black outs, and a few lightening strikes a year, but mostly wildlife with a taste for wiring. My home had seriously been dodging some bullets. Purchased by me in 1990, but built in 1952...nothing was up to code. Today if you own an older home and want anything done "legally", your home must meet code and that's not cheap. Once I got over the sticker shock, the Milestone Team that I was gifted (Justin & Dominick) worked professionally, cleanly, and quickly to bring my home to code, to install the lighting I wanted, and gave me a sense of safety that I haven't felt in a long time. Now if my home ever has an electrical issue, I have a conscientious and capable team to come to my rescue. These days, not everyone can say that.

Work was being performed for my neighbor. I contacted Milestone for an estimate on installing a light fixture in our kitchen. Because they were working across the street they waived the normal estimate charge. They came over when they arrived to work on my neighbors house and provided us with an estimate . I considered the estimate to be very fair and agreed for then to do the work. They came over on the same day after completing the work on my neighbors house and installed the lighting fixture. They were very prompt, professional, and left NO mess. We will use them later this year when we change out additional lights and fans as we continue with our upgrade projects on the house.

Overall experience was excellent. Very professional, courteous, and thoroughly explained everything.

John Taylor was the technician that came out and he discovered the builder put in the wrong plate and that this was a potential fire hazard. He was very knowledgeable and extremely personable. He was on time and ended up replacing the outlet which was the wrong amp. He also repaired the plug that had already melted. He did a great job and we would highly recommend him.

Called and requested service on Friday, December 28. Company indicated they could come on Saturday and they arrived earlier than promised (after calling me to confirm that was OK). After reviewing the problem (repeated outages on two GFI outlets), the electrician recommended replacement of both outlets. Work was done on the spot and the problem has not recurred since. Electrician also discussed with me the possibillity of adding a home surge protector and explained the options available. It is possible I will have them back out to do that work in the future as this seems to be something that would be useful (I live in an area with a lot of power surges).

No problem with the surge protection but the LED lighting has not been perfect. One section of about six feet would not come on every time, but if i touched the wiring in various ways the lite would sometimes come. Milestone has made five service calls to work on the problem. The first visit led to ordering a part and the second visit installing it. It worked for a few days then failed again. On the next visit the electrician applied silicone to parts of the wiring so that the wiring would not be disturbed by opening and closing the cabinets. after a few days the problem returned. This time Milestone stated that they would schedule another visit to solder all the connections together. Finally the lights stopped failing and on the day Milestone came to do the soldering they had not failed for about two weeks. We decided to do nothing and wait and see if the problem came up again as we were about to start a trip that would keep us away for about three months. The good news is that we have complete confidence that Milestone will one day get it fixed. For a $2,700.00 job we want it to work everytime. All the Milestone folks we have met or talked with on the telephone have been great to work with.

They did such a good job for me. They are very responsive and professional and patient. I worked with Glenn, and he was able to come out went through the process and fixed the problem. Very patient man and very helpful. They give you a specific time when it comes to scheduling and they are there.

I had my AC serviced in the summer by Dynamic Service Solutions who picked up the phone number of my previous provider - see my first review for Dynamic Service Solutions on Angies List for details. I decided to sign up for the maintenance program knowing I wanted to have my furnace checked out when winter hit. I scheduled an appointment a couple weeks ago. Dynamic Service Solutions has merged with MileStone Electric. While the owner was here in the summer, we talked about this company, how companies secure other companies, their unforgetable jingle, etc.. He stated that they are known for being the best at what they do. So I wasn't too surprised when the next time I dialed that phone number on my mobile and the receiver answered Milestone Electric with the most welcoming message I have ever heard. Ray and Marco arrived within the time window scheduled and from what I can tell thoroughly checked out everything. Fortunately no urgent issues but did call out a few upgrades to consider. They took pictures, we then went back up into the attic so they could show me what the picture was and explain things a little better. They were thorough with everything I witnessed from checking and cleaning the filter area to furnace. They were nice, respectful, professionaly and engaging. They presented their Security package service and costs that would add additional maintenance services but I did not in any way feel pressured. I get it - they are offering their services. I am very thankful for the integrity of businesses and people like this. Customer and fan for sure!
