Description of Work: Clint with K2 Stairs did a beautiful job of updating my staircase with new balusters. He responded promptly and came over to give a bid. I thought the price was very reasonable and we scheduled the work for the next week. He worked so quickly he was done in less time than he had anticipated. They cleaned up the area where they worked and left me with a beautiful new staircase. It is amazing how it updates the look of your home. I would use them again without hesitation.

+ -1 moreVery good. Kirk arrived when he said he would, had the proper materials, and got right to work. He also finished right on time. The job was done well and with good quality materials.
Description of Work: I needed to have a stair rail raised to a safe height in one of my rental properties. This involved removing the existing rail that ran along a landing on the second floor and replacing the rail, posts, ballisters, and building a new foundation to support the new rail assembly.

+ 0 moreKirk came over Thursday when he said he would, and started the job. He told me what he would do that day, and come back Friday, and finish the job. He did. Kirk is a friendly man, and a easy man to talk to. He and his assistant stayed on the job until they were finished. They cleaned up after they finished their work. I was very satisfied with work that he did, and the staircase looks great! I would recommend him to anyone who needs this type of work done in their home. Thanks Kirk, for a job well done.
Description of Work: My home was built in 1989. The staircase railing, posts etc were in bad condition. I called Kirk, asked him to come by, and give me an estimate on replacing the above mentioned parts. He came by at the appointed time, we discussed the work I wanted done. Later that day, he sent me the estimate for the work. He would replace the railings, posts, and the trim, etc. with oak. He would replace the balusters with the metal, and arrange it however I wanted them. I liked the estimate that he gave me, the time that the work would be done,etc. I told him let's do it. He started the job on Thursday, and came back to finish it on Friday.

+ 0 moreKirk did a great job updating our old stairs. The stairway balusters were old and spaced about 8 inches apart and very dangerous for kids and out of code. Kirk listened to our ideas and even offered some helpful suggestions for the design of the stairway. We now have a beautiful craftsman style stairway and a new railing, newel post and balusters on the top landing. It has really transformed the appearance of our home. He also finished the job ahead of schedule and on budget.
Description of Work: He removed the railing, balusters, and half wall on the landing and replaced with new railing, balusters and newel posts. He even added a new railing for the kids.
