K2 Stairs

Excellent- I was referred to Clint by another flooring company -Jaime C flooring -due to his location and quality. Clint contacted me right away and came over to give me a quote. He was prompt with scheduling and his guys were excellent. they arrived on time, were courteous and clean. They did fantastic work. They removed the carpet, took off the railing and balusters and constructed the staircase and was able to use the existing railing and balusters. the staircase looks beautiful. I would recommend them highly! After they constructed the staircase Jaime C flooring then came in and sanded and finished the wood to match the rest of the flooring. Over all I am very pleased with their service and professionalism.

Overall Clint was fantastic to deal with and always very responsive. We did have a couple scheduling mishaps which caused some havoc with other contractors but other than that we are absolutely thrilled with how wonderful our new stairs look. We have 42 feet of railing total (about 100 balusters) and we were cringing at the possibility of the price until he told us how much that would cost. Clint was very reasonable and helped us to decide to resurface the rails and posts instead of replace them.

I had Clint and his team replace my stair balusters (64 total) which were wooden with the wrought iron. I picked a simple pattern with a baluster that has 2 baskets every 3rd baluster. It is gorgeous. Clint helped me find the right pattern to match my home. He also repaired the stair rail which had cracked. I wasn't sure if it was fixable but now it looks perfect like it was never broken. They also reinforced the stair bannister and supports. It's stronger than ever. The price was less than other competitors considerably and the quality of the work was superb. Clint was extremely responsive and kept me informed during the whole process. They were timely and did things when they said they would. I can't say enough good things about K2 Stairs. If you are thinking or stair repairs or replacement, call K2 Stairs. You will be happy with your decision.

K2 was very easy to work with, and built a staircase that meets code and is beautiful. The guys working on it were skilled and professional. We are very happy with our new stairs, and would highly recommend K2 to anyone needing a staircase.

Clint and his team did a great job. Clint came out to provide as estimate when he said he would. He provided the estimate quickly. He was responsive to my calls. His crew showed up to do the job when he said they would. They did an excellent job - willing to talk through little issues, showed me pictures, made a last minute change, complete attention to details. They worked super hard and got the whole thing done in one day. Oh and Clint was about 2/3 the price of the other bid I got. Now I just need to hire the painters to finish the job and can't wait to see it completely finished. Super happy with K2's part of this redo. Definitely recommend.

I contact Clint for a price quote on replacing wood spindles with iron. Clint was high professional and took the time to educate me on options available. He sent picture options and gave me a price over the phone within minutes. I will use his service as he's so easy to work with.

Clint accommodated our request to remove the old balusters a couple of weeks before the new ones were installed so that our painter could paint the surrounding area. He didn't charge extra for the additional visit and he was terrific to work with. The quality is outstanding and pricing reasonable. I would definitely recommend K2 Stairs and use them again.

They did an awesome job changing them from wood to iron. The work looks like it was always meant to be this way. Cleaned up very nicely. Clint spent time with what I actually wanted for the design. I wish he did more than just stairs. I asked. Best price in town

From the initial consultation to the very end of this project, Clint (K2 Stairs) was professional, responsive and I was very impressed with the quality of the work. I would very much like to attach photos to share his work, but cannot seem to locate how to do this function.

We purchase a house that was built in 2009 and the stairs had no skirt. We were told by a previous vendor that we got an estimate from before we had the stair done and was told to go ahead do the stairs They would come back and put the skirt on. We had installed hardwood floor through out the house including the stairs. We had set up a date with the previous vendor to do the work and then they just didn't show up (this vendor was not on Angie's List - first mistake). We called Clint (K2 Stairs) based on the reviews from Angie's List and he came out to see what could be done. He was very professional and honest. Advised us that he couldn't do it and that we should of had the skirt installed before the hard wood was placed on the stairs. He explained the reason why. If I was to need someone in the future for the stairs I would call on him. I would definitely recommend him very knowledgeable about stairs, professional and punctual.

Fantastic service! We needed small handrails and several grab bars to be installed in several places around the house. Since this is a custom home I was worried about the quality of workmanship. Clint showed up on time and consulted on form/shape and locations. He performed a very professional job. Highly recommended!

We own a small townhouse, one with a 14 step staircase, with 2 landings. Kirk is an excellent craftsman, Our stairs had to be totally rebuilt because they were 40 yrs. old and coming apart. I'm very h****** the people that do work in our house. I expect that if I'm paying for something I want it done right and exactly the way I want it. Kirk does an excellent job, and he won't quit or let something go until its done perfectly, and I love that! He showed up, quoted, communicated and worked hard for 4 straight days. On top of that my A/C went out 2 of the 4 days he was there, it was over 100 degrees in my house. I love my stairs, they are the most beautiful thing in our home.

Everything went as planned. Kirk takes pride in his work. If he finds a problem as he is working he lets you know up front. Everything has to be perfect. He did a wonderful job on the stairs. I would hire him again.

Our stairs were each anywhere from 9 to 11 inches high. Kirk rebuilt them so that each one is now about 7.5 inches high. They are so much easier to go up and down. He was professional, showed up when he said he was going to, was pleasant to deal with, and he did a great job at a reasonable price We love our new stairs.

We met to receive the official quote and he came out on time and quickly provided recommendations and the quote. The job was initially scheduled to take only 1 day however he came back a second day because HE wasn't satisfied with a couple of the baluster positions. Nice! The work was completed professionally and we are very happy with the results.
