Thanks for your review. We try our best to stay connected to clients and offer them the ability to call or write at any time, with any questions or concerns they may have. However during peak time, (March-July) we are booked for 6-8 weeks at a time. This makes it very difficult to keep normal business hours. I am often answering emails or responding to phone calls with email, well into the night. So if I have a choice between waiting 1-2 days for a call back or emailing the same day I will always choose emailing unless a client specifically states that they rather be contacted by phone, which was not requested in this instance. Also, the amount on his estimate and the amount on his invoice were exactly the same. What I tried to explain is that the only time we have a difference, in reference to installing sod, like in his case, is when the sprinklers are either not functioning or not adequate to water the sod. Until the irrigator runs through the system I have no way of knowing before hand of any issues. A client has a choice to either pay for a sprinkler check, done by a licensed irrigator, in advance of the installation or to wait for their free check at the time of installation. This customer said he didn't think he had any sprinkler issues, which he did not, so it wasn't an issue in this case at all.
