This team did an amazing job and I am very happy with the work they did. All of the workers were very professional and the work completed on my system is exactly as I envisioned it. I no longer need soaker hoses to keep my foundation moist. Now my sprinkler system and under ground drip lines for the foundation can all be centrally controlled from my Rachio controller, which I can control remotely using the app on my smart phone.

Within 2 years the brain that runs the system went bad and they came out and brought me another one. Around a year later one of the lines went out and my yard flooded out to the street which and they resolved that issue. Now the system is out again, I tried contacting them the entire summer and no one would return my calls. Today I finally got in touch with someone from the company and the gentleman was quite abrasive. Worst customer service ever! I made a mistake by hiring them. They are not professional and don't answer their phones or return calls even when I emailed requesting a follow up.

*This is where it gets difficult to get in touch with Dallas Curb Appeal. Only half my project was complete. It took about 2 weeks and an email with “SECOND REQUEST” in the subject to get a response from them.* *However, once my project was scheduled, there was no problem. They did send me a revised invoice on the day of the project. The quality of work was excellent. It took one day to install my grass.* *Their employees are professional and courteous. I appreciate their hard work.*

They were very responsive. I got 3 quotes. They were the lowest (by a little) and able to start the soonest. When rain entered the forecast, they called to see if they could start the Saturday before we were scheduled. The yard looks so much better now.

Extremely difficult to contact; they don't return calls or emails promptly or even at all sometimes. The estimate I finally received by email was not for the services we agreed I needed. I tried to contact them again to straighten that problem out and got no response. I need the work done but they are too disorganized and irresponsible. They clearly cannot be trusted to get the job done.

Removed old shrubs. Designed and planted new shrubs. St Augistine sod. Upgraded sprinkler system.

Dallas curb appeal created a beautiful stone patio and an irrigation system for my mother a few years back. They did a great job, so we hired them for our big job. We had a vision for what we wanted our backyard to be, and they brought it to life. Our deck is perfect, and so is the pergola. Everyone who comes over is amazed at how we added so much value to the property. We now live outside so much more that we did. We had a lot of issues with our yard - it's a large area, but had a big incline. Geno worked with us multiple times trying to come up with the best way to design the fence. Turned out great.

Maria came out and email an estimate. We had 3 estimates and this one was in the middle. We chose Dallas Curb Appeal because of all of the positive feedback here on Angie's List. Crew arrived on time, Geno touched base with us about what areas we wanted done. They wasted no time tilling up the old grass and soil. New sod was laid down quickly and watered immediately. JC was here to check the sprinkler heads to ensure proper irrigation. Many of our sprinkler heads were changed out by JC. We were very happy with the work the crew did, they even came back the next day to fill in a few more areas with extra sod. JC remembered to change out a couple of sprinkler heads that he didn't have parts for the previous day. Thank you Dallas Curb Appeal!

It was a struggle to get the grass (Zeon Zoysia) since this spring (2015) has been so wet and the supplier was unable to cut the sod for delivery. Maria in their front office kept me informed and up to date on the schedule. The team arrived and cleared the area for installation. They did the proper prep of the area which included clearing what was left of the grass/weeds and a light roto-till. They then moved on to another job since the sod had not arrived yet. The sod arrived and they returned after lunch (and another rain shower) to complete the installation. The crew cleaned up the site well and all the sprinkler heads were checked to make sure they popped correctly and that the coverage was correct. The price was very competitive, especially considering the proper prep of the area. I would definitely use Dallas Curb Appeal again for other landscape projects.

It went excellent! They were very responsive from the start and Maria impressed was far more impressive than the other people we got quotes from. She was easy to work with and gave us a neat 3D rendering of different designs. Her husband met us at a plant nursery to show us different plants and answer questions. I highly recommend them! We have been getting so many compliments of our new landscape!

Great - Maria and Gino are fantastic to work with. They also installed our turf and did back yard this past summer. Very professional, responsible and reasonable. We've already recommended them to two other families and one thanked us recently for the referal.

Job went fine. Unfortunately I didn't communicate well with my husband and Maria didn't tell her husband the exact design and the husbands were the ones actually communicating with each other on the day of the job. So... The actual end design wasn't exactly what I wanted, but my husband was able to fix, so all is good.

Maria scheduled the job over two days. Gino and his crew arrived on time to begin the project. Unfortunately, after very little rain for the past two months, we had sever thunderstorms. The crew did as much as weather would allow to begin again early the next day. I might add at this point that his crew was very efficient and courteous. All materials were delivered on time and as promised. Even though, Gino lost a half day of work, he and his crew were able to finish the project on time. The results were beyond our expectations and were actually better than the design pictures. When Gino reviewed the results, our neighbors suddenly appeared to review and applaud the results. This company certainly lives up to its names because it certainly as provided curb appeal to our home.

We moved into our house in 1989 and all of the 25 year old landscaping was overgrown and unsightly. In addition, the sprinkler system had several issues and we wanted to tie all of the front gutters into a french drain and we wanted a walkway through the shrub bed to be able to get to the hose connection. I called Dallas Curb Appeal (along with 2 other landscaping companies from Angies List) for a landscape design/plan/schedule and cost estimate and Maria came out to the house the next day. We gave her our ideas and constraints (e.g., nothing too elaborate as we will likely be moving within the next year, clean/crisp open look/curb appeal, native drought resistant plants, etc.). We also mentioned that it would be absolutely fabulous if the job could be completed in time for our Easter party, which was a little over 2 weeks away (we figured this would be next to impossible given how busy all the landscapers are this time of year, with most quoting several weeks of lead time). We bonded with Maria right off the bat as she quickly came up to speed on our requirements, bouncing several ideas off of us in the process, and then left to work up a plan/proposal (along with several others that she had underway). She wound up working over the weekend and actually emailed us a proposal on Saturday night containing several views/pictures (elevation as well as overhead) along with several plant options. We really liked what she had done and quickly settled on all the options, and on Monday got the GREAT news that they could actually work us in on the following Wed! Gino and his crew came out first thing Wed morning and worked hard all day, finishing around 6:00 in the evening (only hiccup was a sprinkler pipe that had developed a leak under our driveway and consequently had to be replaced). Bottom line: we couldn't be happier with the results and are now going outside several times a day to admire the fantastic job that went beyond expectations in every aspect including price. Working with Maria and Gino could not have been easier or more professional, and we're so happy we found them!

I met with Maria on Thursday, March 20th. Maria was very thorough and I was pleased with how thorough she was. At the end of our meeting, I asked her when I can expect the quote and she said I should have it sometime the next day (Friday). At that time I made it very clear to her to call or text me when the quote was sent over as I had problems receiving a quote from another vendor and she said "no problem". Well, Friday came and went and then on Saturday I called Maria and then when I got no return call, I emailed her asking when I would be receiving the quote as the deadline she committed to came and went. She said that her husband had to go out and get some additional photos and measurements and said he could give me the information if I was home or she would send it after her returned. I explained to her that I was working and I could wait til he returned. Once again, another deadline she made was not met as I had to email her again Sunday as I did not receive it. She said she sent it, but if she did, she failed to follow my directions and call or text me. I made it clear to Maria that I was a real estate agent and always like to test drive my contractors before I refer out. Unfortunately Maria failed on her deadlines and failed to follow my instructions in calling or texting therefore she did not win the bid.

They came out, were easy to schedule, even came on a day they don't usually work just to make it easier for me, and fixed everything beautifully. They had all the parts and finished quickly, even though they didn't know what was wrong ahead of time (they didn't come out to do an estimate - don't remember if they don't do that or I didn't ask for that). The price seemed like it was a little high, but it was easy to work with them and they did a great job.

I contacted Maria through Angie's list and got an appointment right away. Maria is a great listener, easy to talk to and the best of all has lot of patience. After the initial walk through we discussed what we are looking for and got the initial design back in few days. Maria was very patient in answering all the questions from me and replied all the questions I sent through email regarding the plant choices, design patterns. On the day of work, crew came in on time and worked the whole day very methodically. The crew were ready to provide any additional input as they went through the work for any changes that would help with the new design. Multiple rotors and sprinkler heads had to be replaced to extend the flower bed and they took care of making sure the new changes are covering the lawn even better than before. Overall every one went above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend Dallas Curb Appeal to any one in my circle and will not be hesitant to call them again for any future work. Gino and his crew showed up right on time at 8.30am and got right to work. I went outside and they weren't playing around - they dug the channels by hand (with shovels) for the pipes. It took about 5 hours to run the drains and put together the piping. Drainage isn't something that's "sexy" or even seen, it's just a necessity on some homes. It's a basic principle so there isn't a ton to say about it, but the work that was performed was done well and done on budget. In fact I actually added additional drainage to the job and they performed the work the same day, which I was really suprised with. I will be using the team at Dallas Curb Appeal to fix up our landscaping once we're ready to have the work done. They are good people and perform services as stated, which is hard to come upon these days. They stand behind their work and I know that if I had an issue, Dallas Curb Appeal would resolve it. I would recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping work - and all the different things that go along with "landscaping."

I had my doubts about this project and was concerned about my new landscape plants getting enough water, but I am pleasantly surprised at the results. It works great and I've seen a reduction in my water bill, even though I'm watering with drip irrigation more often due to new plants. The workmen arrived on time and completed the work with minimal mess. My flower beds were made ready for the landscaper. They also repaired a sprinkler head in the front lawn. They were very responsive to my concerns and responded immediately when a outdoor lighting wire was accidently cut. It was repaired before sundown. I would hire them again!

We had just moved into this house and installed a pool. Our yard is approximately a half acre and all the existing beds were hard as rock and not the correct height. After we settled on a design it took two weeks for her crew to be available. The crew arrived on schedule and began work. I will tell you, these guys were here at the 7am and worked their butts off all day long. They first day they started on the beds, creating one large one and preparing the soil in the existing 7. The following day they replaced the existing sprinkler heads in the bed and installed a drip system around the perimeter of the house. The third day they installed plants and the path walkways. The forth day was suppose to be a short day putting the finishing touches on things. Since they had done such a great job I add a second flagstone patio (around 250 sqft) to the very back of our lot. They provided me a verbal quote and began working on it right away. They proved to be very flexible in their scheduling to accommodate my schedule. I felt so bad making these guys work late I cooked dinner for the entire crew. I could not have wished to work with a better group of people. Maria and her staff still believe in customer service. They were all polite and very clean. I walked the yard each evening looking for the typical trash left by contractors. I never found one piece. I have had a couple plants die due to the Texas heat. Maria sent a man from her crew out to replace them with no questions asked. I will never consider using any other company One very happy customer, Ron Davis

We couldn't be happier. We like the retaining walls design (and eventual planting design) done by Maria. The her husband (I think) Gino was the overseer of the stone construction and balance of the landscaping. A crew of 3 worked diligently for 3 days, were polite and considerate. When they left yesterday, there was no sign they had ever been there. No trash and the excess stone neatly stacked. And no loud salsa music. They went above and beyond what the contract called for and we were very pleased. I got some good advice on where and how to add additional irrigation heads and discussed whether or not to use a drip system. At the end, Maria called to give me instructions and tips on how to properly water the sod to insure that it survives the Texas heat and flourishes.

It was good. They seem very knowledgeable. It was very punctual and very thorough.

The work went as they explained, Maria & Gino do a good job of explaining what they are doing and giving feedback when we weren't on the right track. I liked that one of them was there to supervise the work the vast majority of time. They took care of things that we brought up to them quickly and explained what to expect each day of the project. They did not take shortcuts when they could have and we would not have known the difference.

The Dallas Curb Appeal team is incredible. We solicited multiple bids as outlined by Angie's List, most were no shows, even with scheduled appointments. Maria was on time, on-the-mark, reasonable, and creatively suggestive to our landscape needs. She even coached us on a project that was not part of the bid that saved us quite a headache. We planned to place landscape glass close to a remodeled pool, but Maria highlighted the glass product was very light and would blow into the pool. I had not thought of that and when samples arrived, they were light as feathers, there is no way they would stay put if hit by a landscape blower. We changed direction and followed Maria's suggestion, thank you. Her employees are very good, and each visit there is a supervisor engaged along with the hard working guys. Maria and her husband are really tuned into doing what's right vs. cutting corners, they are a great team. We found their bid reasonable and we plan to utilize Dallas Curb Appeal for all additional landscape and irrigation needs. The big thing for me is the integrity of recommending someone to family or a close friend. We would highly recommend Dallas Curb Appeal to our close friends.

They were the only people I got an estimate from so I don't know how their prices compare to anybody else. I liked them. She was very nice and very helpful. We looked through the whole yard and also talked about doing some landscaping. I would probably go back to them if we decide we want to spend the money.
