Very quick process. Gentlemen came into my home and placed a protective tarp on my floor. Plugged in the shop vac to catch the dust, and began assembling the sweep as he inched it up the chimney. He was pleased with the results and stated my chimney looked good. He disassembled the sweep, wrapped up the tarp and exited. It's a necessary preventive maintenance that must be done periodically. I recommend this group! Polite, professional and thorough.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal for this job. I was not crazy about the service; the guy could have been more professional. One guy arrived and he had two cloths that were both already really dirty and then he put them down on my carpet. It was almost like he needed a third one going back and forth because he had to go back and forth to get his tools. It did not make any sense to me because he knew the tools he was going to need so why not just bring them in all at once? He did the job in a matter of seconds and I even had to remind him that part of the Big Deal special was that he was supposed to check my attic; he forgot to do that. He was about to leave so when he got up there he told me I had holes in my attic and told me I needed $3,500 worth of caulking to keep critters about. He did inspect the chimney on the outside of the house. I don't think his service was worth the $89 but he did call ahead and notified me that he was going to be late.

I was not home when the service provider completed the job. Due to a lack of communication with my wife she was unaware that I purchased the Bid Deal vouchers and the service was already paid for.. At the completion of the job the provider presented the bill to my wife and she then paid for the service with a check. When I realized what happened I contacted the company and spoke to a representative who looked into the matter. The representative called me back and acknowledged the double payment. The representative advised me that Chimney and wildlife specialists would cut me a check for half the double payment and would mail it to my home address. As of this date the refund has not been made and two follow up calls inquiring about the issue have failed to be returned.

They arrived on time and ready to work, and did a top to bottom inspection. Even though I had only purchased one inspection at the reduced price, they agreed to handle the other chimney for the same price.

It went very well. I made the appointment the same week I purchased the Big Deal. The representative was punctual and took great care to keep the area clean. My fireplace did indeed need to be cleaned and he did it quickly and efficiently. Don't let your fireplaces go too long without cleaning and avoiding a fire.

Purchased deal from Angie's List for cleaning and inspecton and contacted company to schedule appt. Technician arrived, inspected firepace and informed us that reair was needed. He supplied an estimate for work and left (did not clean fireplce-since repair was necessary). I contacted the company and scheduled appt for repair work for Dec 6th at 9:00 am. On the 6th at 9:30, I called to see why technician was not at my house. I was told he would call me back. At about 10:30, he called and notified me that the repair could not be performed. I was told that he and his boss had reviewed the photos (none were taken on the day he inspected the fireplace) and decided that the fireplace was irreparable and his company would not do th work and assume the liability. I was upset that my time had been wasted since I had taken vacation time from work to be sure that I was present for the repair. I requested a refund and was told that the office manager would contact me. Three days later I called the office and the manager knew noting about my situation but assured me she would look into it and get back to me. I called and talked to the office staff two additional times and have received a run-around. Each time I had to repeat my complaint and remind them about my situation. It has been two weeks since the appointment for the repair and a month since the original inspection and I have not been able to get this resolved. Will definitely not use this company or refer them to anyone.

Paul was great. I am new in my house and the coupon promotion was a good opportunity to set my mind at ease. My chimney was grade a clean he reported but ran the sweeper anyway to be sure. He answered all my dumb questions regarding the gas logs. says i have good cover at the top and didnt see anything that required additional work.

The service man, Omar, showed up at 9:00 am - the exact time the company said to expect him. He removed the grate that was not usable, per my request. The cleaning took approximately 35 minutes. He went on the roof and inspected the chimney and then provided me with an estimate for the work that needed to be done, as the chimney has never been cleaned since the house was built in 1985. I was not only pleased with the work done, how nice Omar was, the professionalism, the promptness, the outstanding customer service given from the woman who took my order, the quality of work done, but also with the estimate presented - it was well under what another estimate indicated. I would highly recommend this company.

Showed up around 9:30 am, I was scheduled between 9 and 11. Was very professional, answered my questions and cleaned up when he was done.

arrived on time, introduced himself, was courteous, friendly, efficient. took precautions to keep living room clean during process, had all the right equipment, worked at an efficient, thorough pace. gave a clear report on condition of our old chimney and fireplace, made suggestions for upkeep we could do, suggested time frame for next cleaning that seemed reasonable. He cleaned up and left things as good as when he got there plus left a clean, safe chimney which was nice. Now if only the weather would cooperate and allow us temps to enjoy a wood burning fire again! Would definitely use Chimney and Wildllife Specialists again and we have no qualms about suggesting them to others. (not all chimney sweeps are to be recommended- I had a horrible encounter with another local company a few years back. so this was a pleasant outcome)
