I called and left a voicemail inquiring about a quote for a cedar fence at a property that I was renovating. Top Quality Fence returned my call and sent Abe out the next day. I realized that I had used them several years ago on a fence at my own house. I knew from my own personal experience that this company really was "Top Quality". Their price was very reasonable and he took the time to go over every detail with me. They were booked out a little with their schedule but that was fine for me because I had the time until I needed the project completed. Before leaving Abe told me that if they had a change in schedule, they would let me know. I was surprised when he called me with an opening two days later and was able to come out that week. His crew showed up first thing the next morning and removed the old fence and post and had all of the new post installed before they left the first day. The fence was completed within two days. Every detail was absolutely perfect.

My fence looks great. The color of the stain is a lovely brown and really adds to my house's look and feel. Abe offers 6,7 and 8 foot fences. I picked the 8 foot and had 3 steps put in. Abe was very friendly and extremely thorough with his explanations. He fit everything around my schedule, including coming to me to pick up the payment. He didn't once try to make me upgrade. He was my most expensive quote but he was also the most responsive and was able to build the fence quicker that any other quote. For me these factors out weighted the extra couple of hundred dollars. I highly recommend.

I was so impressed with Abe. His attention to detail is completely refreshing to an OCD person like me. He took a considerable amount of time to quote the job and give me options to try to fit my budget. I ended up going with a different company because the price was just a little high for me. Abe was very knowledgeable and committed to helping a homeowner in desperate need of help. I hired a contractor to build a retaining wall and fence back in April 2015. The old contractor strung me along for months and at times did not show up for weeks. He ended up leaving the job unfinished. Abe never hesitated on taking the unique task of completing my fence. He completed an 8 foot board on board fence, brought up my fence to code, and finished it in a timely manner. I interviewed 10 other contractors that either never got back to me or were just too expensive. I cannot say enough good things about Abe and Top Quality Fence & Arbor. From the very start of the transaction I could tell Abe wanted to make me a happy customer. I was buying a fence from out of town and while it could have been really stressful and anxiety-causing, Abe made it easy. The fence came out beautifully and was done in less than 2 days. Price was about 4K for a basic 6ft cedar fence with about 130 linear feet, very competitive to any other quotes I received. 3ft post, all the quality materials, etc. Way to go Abe, thanks a lot for such great service!!!

I found them on Angie's List and my neighborhood used them before for personal project work. We actually found 3 different companies and we like these guys best. The owner came out and explained thoroughly how to built fences and what materials to be used. He bought examples of his nails and talked about his crew which he says working for a change. There were 3 guys who do all the work and they were very good. It was a little expensive.

Bill & Abe are extremely professional and very fair to work with. They addressed all my questions before the project began very thoroughly and were patient with me while I gathered my funding over the course of several months. I received two other quotes which were more expensive, but not significantly. The major reason I decided to use Top Quality fence was because of their professionalism and the fact that I could put all of the cost on my Amex, while other companies charge for using a credit card. The project started and finished with 4 days, and only because it rained on the second day so they couldn't work. They took down and hauled away the old fence and the new one went up very quickly! It was impressive how quickly they worked. They had to cut down several trees that were on the perimeter of the yard and in the way of the new fence. Something that came up unexpectedly was the fact that the hauling away of plants/trees is something that is usually negotiated ahead of time. I didn't realize this; however, Abe worked with me and had his men move the trees to my curb for bulk-trash pick up day. I appreciated his efforts in helping me out rather than slapping on an additional last-minute fee. They also switched out my electric motor from a Viking to LiftMaster for no additional charge. The reason for this was because I changed my mind rather last-minute to have a wooden covered electric gate for more privacy versus the simply black metal that you can see through. They took it upon themselves to choose an upgraded motor that can support more weight so that the gate is more durable--and for no additional cost! All in all, I was very pleased with the professional, quality and efficient work Abe and Bill performed with their team. I would easily recommend them to anyone looking for an upgrade to their fence. I love being in my backyard now that I have ultimate privacy!

Top Quality was very prompt in coming out and writing an estimate. Spent about 45 minutes with me and seemed very knowledgeable about fence building. I ended up using another provider because they were cheaper.

Showed up at 8:30 a.m. was finished at 5:30p.m..Talk about team work, it was amazing to watch . The men new what the others on the crew were thinking. You could tell that they have worked together for quite a while. Very respectful and answered all questions without hesitation. Very satisfied all the way around.

It was a pleasant experience. Abe contacted us throughout the entire job and met with us for a final review. We will definitely use him for the arbor. His guys we very nice with all of our questions during the replacement. I got three estimates for a deck and arbor. I felt he was extremely fair and reasonable with the estimates.

Abe once joked with me that the longest he remembered a client putting off starting a project from the time of their consultation was 5 years. Well it only took 3 years from the first time I met with Abe until we were finally ready to get our fence replaced. It wasn?t my intention but things got in the way over the last few years. Still, there was zero pressure from Abe all this time. I was more impressed that after all that time had passed, Abe still remembered. He even returned with a copy of the original quote which naturally needed to be updated, but that?s the kind of business he runs. Abe is a treasure to deal with, always politely taking the time to explain the process in detail and work through all of your questions, concerns, fears and unique requests. He?s truly a pro and his years of experience definitely come through. He knows the ins and outs of what works and what doesn?t and when you think you have him stumped because you have an overgrown tree, or a gas meter in the way, or your soil turns to quicksand and back to stone in a week, he?s got an answer for you and can work with your unique requirements. With Top Quality Fence, it?s not about how it?s always done but how YOU need it done. Before the project, Abe touched base regularly and explained what each phase would entail. He was always available to answer any question, no matter how trivial I thought it was. Our project was targeted as a 3-day project. A fourth day was necessary as scheduling and weather issues delayed the first day until the afternoon. To set expectations appropriately, Abe was considerate enough to call if any time slipped with schedules or if weather or other issues played a role in altering the schedule. We were replacing the entire perimeter of the house with the exception of one side that belonged to a neighbor. In addition, we were installing an additional entry gate as part of an enclosure on the side of the house as an add-on to the gate in the front of the house. This enclosure can be accessed from a sliding master bedroom door. The crew tore away at the decking that was there before and created a flawless replacement. The big difference we added was an electrically controlled sliding gate to secure a carport that faced the alley and left the cars fully exposed to vandals or lurkers. The transformation from a falling fence and no carport security to an enclosed space that not only gives peace of mind but also looks great is astounding. Abe works with a reputable third party to manufacture the frame for the sliding gate and procure the motor. After the sliding gate frame is welded together, Abe?s team then fills the frame with their quality fencing wood and the end result is amazing. He recommends that owners make their own arrangements to have the electrical run to the motor to keep costs down. He also suggests that you bring your electrician after the motor is installed so that any electrical work won?t interfere with all the other stuff going on. Their equipment requires the use of air compressors and other tools so having uninterrupted power is essential. Keep in mind that a project like this requires coordination between his team of workers, the ordering and delivery of materials to your location, weather issues that might come up and the automatic gate company. The fact that it all came together so seamlessly is a testament to Abe?s experience. Here is the run-down of what to expect for a similar project: Before project ? Delivery of materials (wood, posts, fasteners, concrete, etc.) to your location. It helps having a driveway or place to keep these items but you can work with Abe in this respect. Day one ? demolition of old fencing and cutting down of old posts. If time permits, new posts are set. Day two ? final posts are set and framing begins with the horizontal runners fastened to the posts which are cut down to the target height (8ft in our case). If time permits, vertical panel installation begins. Day three (or longer, as needed) ? Panels completed, entry gates constructed. Sliding gate hardware and panels complete so that the gate is manually operational until the arrival of the motor equipment. For us this took an extra day because of the holiday weekend. The rest of the installed vertical panels are cut down to the right height and the trim and cap installed all around. We chose to pay a bit extra to have the trim and cap put on top of the fence for a more finished look and to create more stability in the structure. We also added the pre-treated and stained cedar to buy us quite a few maintenance free years. Everything from the wood to the nails is top quality and these extras are worth the investment. Abe explains how they go deeper and closer with the support posts compared to others and when you see the finished product you can see why. This thing is solid! I have to give props to his team also. Martin and his crew work diligently, taking a break only to grab some food and rest for about an hour. To watch these guys work is like watching high wire acrobats. Once the posts and railings are in place, you are amazed at how fast things go. They were a pleasure to work with and with just a few ground rules about where to keep debris and what vegetation to be careful about, they will work with just about any requirement you have. I recommend prepping your area as best as you can to create a logical pathway through and around any plants or shrubs you are concerned about. Despite all the best efforts to be as careful as possible, there will be things that fall (like pieces of the old fence) and some awkward corners that have to be negotiated so set your expectations accordingly. I always smiled and thanked them. The end result was worth every bit of angst in the beginning. This fence will last for many years to come and it has upgraded the look of the house already. We are getting compliments from neighbors as well as requests for Abe's information. Thank you Abe and team for truly Top Quality work!

Top Quality fence is a top quality outfit. Very professional - good crew that has been together a good long while. Of the other companies I was seriously considering, Top Quality was as little less expensive. i have learned over the years that you get what you pay for. They are not a cheap fence company, but I was not looking for a cheap fence. It was a better price than what I expected. Very good clear estimate. Everything went well and he was done in the time/days he said. He was very busy that summer and did have to bump the start to finish another job, but that was more weather related. The fence runs right up to the garage. There is a door/gate next to the garage and I have a small 2 foot section of fence for it to have something to latch to. The posts for that section settled a little funny and the door got stuck a couple times. Abe came out a multiple times in the triple digit early evening heat by himself to fix and he made sure it was working. He was out here fixing it late until nearly dark the night before an extremely early flight for a big family vacation. He came back after his trip when it got stuck again with a little more settling. It works fine now and has for over a year. This has nothing to do with the B rating on Quality. I was not surprised considering our dry/drought conditions all the time. The only reason I gave the B is because the supplier did not have enough of the pre-stained wood I paid for. This was out of TQ's control, a freak thing, but frustrating considering they did not find out until after they had started removing the old fence. I did not want to wait any longer as the new fence was long overdo. Some of the wood had to be stained by hand with a brush or roller. The amount is fairly small overall and is part of the base or retaining wall sections. Minimal considering, but you can tell the difference, more so with time. You can tell where it was one coat or multiple coats vs the pre stained. While it is only cosmetic now, this relates to the quality and is the the main reason for the B. In a couple years I will have to get some stain and brush/roll a bit, but at least Abe told me and showed me the specific stain and where to get it. As I said previously, it is a very small section and the overall fence still looks great! It is beautiful and works well! Even with this wood order/stain incident, I still would still use them again and referred a customer that wound up getting a beautiful fence that did not have the same problem with their wood order.

The owner of Top Quality Fence, Abe Esquenazi, came out and measured my yard and spent about an hour with me explaining about the type of fence his company would provide. I was extremely impressed with Abe and felt confident that his company would build an excellent fence that I would enjoy for years to come. His pricing was competitive with other estimates I had received. I was working against time constraints and Abe was booked for the next month. My fence was leaning due to a previous storm and the city had given me a time limit to get it repaired or replaced and I didn't have a month to wait so I was unable to hire Top Quality Fence to build my Fence. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. I feel very confident in their ability to build a quality product. Thank you Abe, for educating me about what I should expect in a quality fence.

I have recommended them to my son. He was great with staying in contact with me via text/voicemail. I knew when and how long the crew would be there. He was conscientious of his work. The work took about 4 days to complete.

Haven't had it installed yet but will be this week. More to come on the installation and materials. Abe and Bill have been super!

They got the job done quickly and they were done in about 2 days. The cleanup was good and they did not leave anything behind. They sent 4 people out to do the job.

Abe was very courteous and professional throughout the estimation process and stopped by to see how the job was going. It was a big project and was completed in two days, the crew did a great job on clean up and the fence looks great.

Impressed that the estimator arrived as scheduled during a heavy rain storm to conduct measurements. Professional and articulate to my requirements and questions. Worked directly with the City for permit and inspection. Price was comparable to other contractors and quality is superb. Materials were delivered neatly and in excellent condition. Crew arrived promptly as previously scheduled and began work immediately. Old fence was removed, stacked and hauled away. They completed 99% of the project within two days due to material shortage (6 feet of pickets) which they made a special trip to finish under 30 mins at the beginning of the third day. The fence is very sturdy and well constructed with high quality appeal. Crew was very friendly and helpful and they cleaned up all waste and leveled disturbed soil from post digging. Overall, very professional team focused toward customer satisfaction. I'll gladly recommend Top Quality Fence to my friends and neighbors.

Abe Esquenazi and his team did a fantastic job, from providing timely estimates and installation, to construction clean up and product warranty (10yrs!). Though I paid a little more than i would have liked, I DO NOT regret my decision and would recommend Top Quality Fence & Arbor to anyone who wants to install a top quality fence. They even left me a can of touch up stain and provided information on how to obtain more so I can re-stain my pergola to match! I am completely happy with both product and service; they are consummate professionals!

We wanted to install a black metal fence and gate across our side yard, between the rear entry garage and neighbor's new wood fence. Abe came to look at this very small job and gave us some good ideas for both the fence and a decorative gate he knew where to source. We liked the ideas, so he called his supplier on the spot and put the gate on hold to make sure one would be available if we decided to do the job. He said that the cost of the job would be a low as he could bid profitably, but that because of the size, we might have second thoughts when we heard the bid. We did not have second thoughts, because it sounded reasonable for the quality of fence we wanted. We scheduled the job for whenever he had a crew available for such a small job. When the job was done a couple of weeks later (the actual job took about two hours), we were more than satisfied with the fence and the price. Abe was prompt, courteous, friendly and attentive to our requests. We couldn't ask for a better fencing company to deal with.

They did an incredibly good job; I am in love with my new fence. the sliding gate addition and extension of the fence over part of our driveway was in response to the theft of my truck overnight, from my driveway, 60 days prior to the work being done.
