Poor response time!

Very smooth from start to finish.

The whole process took three days from the starting estimate to completion of project. Tim Conley walked us through from doing the initial estimate and showing us various options to how the job would be handled. They were very professional and didn't waste any time. The only thing that marred a textbook operation was their accidentally puncturing a gas line in back. However, they notified us and worked quickly to repair the line. Even though the agreement has a clause of not being responsible for (among other things) gas lines, TQF paid 50% of the repair cost.

The price was between $6000-7000. I thought the estimate was very fair and competitive. I think it would be a pleasure to work with them. Abe Esquenazi, the owner, was very helpful. He asked me questions that helped me to understand the project better and informed me of very useful information. I decided not to go forward with the project because of the economy.

I called and talked to Abe and gave him the information in order for him to come out and give us an estimate. He said he would contact us within the week but he never called back. And that was almost a month ago.

I received 3 different quotes, and Top Quality was right in the middle. Decided to go with Top Quality due to the responsiveness and quality of the fences that I saw. The owner, Abe, was very willing to work with me and what I wanted. Only negative point is that I had to ask for references to view (he did not have them readily available). I was happy that the fence went up in < 2 weeks from when I phoned him. The workers did a great job, and also did a good job of cleaning up after the job. Would definitely recommend them to friends/family if they ever need a new fence.

We had many questions and Abe spent a lot of time with us answering them. When we sent in the 50% deposit, he called to ask if the materials could be delivered the day before work would start. He explained that one door of the 2-car garage would be blocked. We agreed. Materials were delivered on a Wednesday. Work started at 8 am Thursday. The guys went right to it and it was obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. They took time to explain where the fence line would be and made sure it was exactly where we wanted it. We chose a poor place for the back gate, however, where many utility lines converge. We moved it to the opposite side of the fence after the gas line was punctured. Abe called us when this happened and called his plumber to get us an estimate for fixing it. We used our own plumber who was able to come right away and did it for a bit more than the other estimate.

Fence guys don't get any easier or more pleasant to work with than Abe! He took as much time as we needed early on to explain the nuances of fencing issues to us (things like how/where it should be stepped & leveled for the slope of our yard, the various merits of different species of wood, etc.) and gave a bid that was nicely laid out in terms of what each part of the job was going to cost us. My husband is very handy so Abe was even willing to sell us the ornamental wood & corbels to trim out the top, then allow us to do it ourselves even though his name is on the sign on the fence. As it turned out, time ended up being too much of a constraint for us, so Abe's guys came out a few weeks later & installed the ornamental pieces, as well. We have received a ton of compliments on our new fence and we feel a lot more secure with it.

Abe spent a lot of time discussing the project with us before and during the project. It took longer than anticipated but there was rain during the construction. Overall the project went well and we were impressed with Abe and his workmen. They did have to return on our request to clean up more debris from the yard.

Abe is very professional and does an excellent job meeting with customers and describing all the options. I met with multiple fencing companies to get bids and recommendations for the type of repair needed, and he was the only person to give multiple options at different price points. Ultimately, we went with him because he seemed very knowledgeable and fair in his pricing and recommendations. His bid was not the absolute lowest (by about $400), but we also had two bids which were more than $1000 more for the same work. The work started on time and took a team of about 3 men 2 and a half days. The fence looks beautiful now. My only criticism would be that they did not clean up adequately, even after I asked them to come back to clean up a bit more. I ended up picking up about 40 pounds of concrete chunks from my neighbor's yard, to complete the clean up. Nevertheless, I would still hire them again.

They did an excellent job on our fence! The workers were very careful not to damage any of the landscaping. They completed the job in three days. They did a very nice job of cleaning up during and after the job. The crew members were very hard workers and very courteous. When I did have a few questions I would call the owner of the company and he quickly answered my concerns. He was on the job site for the most important part, determining where to set the post. They show a great attention to detail. I had many companies come to give me a bid. They came in with the best bid and I knew that the owner would be very helpful through this process. I would use them again and will recommend them to others.
