Description of Work: This was actually my 2nd time to use Legacy Plumbing. I specifically requested Matt because he did such a great job the first time. Matt was punctual, friendly and fast-working. I had him fix the water line to the refrigerator, fix the kitchen sink and repair a toilet. I will hire him and Legacy again.

Description of Work: Legacy Plumbing does not service my area (Denton, Tx.). The company scheduler was very polite, personable, and apologetic. She also scheduled her technician to give me a call and offer advice and answer any questions I may have. He called me the same day and gave me excellent advice. I would recommend Legacy Plumbing to everyone!

Description of Work: Rerouted water heater drain line. Identified leak in water supply with water static test. Found it to be a commode that needed a new flap. Installed new flap. Professional and honered the Angie List discount.

Description of Work: I called for a backed up toilet and an exterior dripping faucet. Lee and Chris were very prompt and professional. They went beyond the usual to find and fix the problem. When they could not clear the clogged toilet, they called Wayne, with his camera to take a look inside the pipes! Wayne was also, very persistent and they did prevail! When the day was done, out came a squirrel! Yes, that's right, the squirrel had climbed in and was clogging the pipes. Thank you Legacy Plumbing!

Description of Work: Doug arrived within an hour of my call. Water Heater was running out of hot water faster than normal. Doug determined it was an issue with the bottom thermostat in my 2 heating element hot water heater. I decided to have him replace both thermostats while he was here. Repair was done right and at a reasonable price. Happy with the job that was done.

Description of Work: Scope the sewer line to find out why raw sewage was coming up in the front yard. Found a sag in the line and the City repaired the line. Legacy plumbers have worked for us before and Wayne does an excellent job and is very knowledgable in his field .

Description of Work: We had issues with our hot water pressure in our shower and thought the cartridge needed to be replaced. Legacy came out and pulled the unit apart, cleaned it and it worked like new without having to replace. They were on time and extremely effective while being cost efficient. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: This has been my best plumbing company experience to date, and I have dealt with many because of several properties that I have owned. I never ended up using Legacy because my home warranty wanted me to use a specific company, however, I was really impressed by the extremely helpful attitude of the owner. (unfortunately, I don't remember his name) My sewer line was completely stopped, and Legacy was the only company who came in at no charge, looked at the job, gave me correct advise and a very reasonable estimate. He was so different from the regular 'rooter' companies that have only one interest- to rope you in with a fake 'free estimate' and then keep tightening the noose. He did not try scaring tactics, neither did he push the work on me, he only gave me his true professional opinion, and I actually felt guilty for not using him, because he did not charge me a penny for over an hour of his time! I will definitely use only Legacy the next time I need to call a plumber. Roonu Rizavi

Description of Work: Had a very positive experience with Legacy Plumbing. We changed from an electric to gas cooktop and called Legacy Plumbing to install the new gas cooktop. They came the very next morning and installed it. The tech did install it without the regulator which he didn't think it needed. My husband said it must go on. When I called them back, No problem, they came right out installed the regulator and apologized for the inconvenience. They cleaned up after themselves and were very nice and professional. Definitely would hire them again as I feel customer service is #1 with this company!!! Thank you Legacy Plumbing

Description of Work: Late Wednesday, I requested a contact via Angie's List to replace two 12 year-old hot water heaters located in the attic. Early Thursday morning I received an email with an estimate. (By the way, email is always my preferred method of communication, but this is the first vendor that actually emailed instead of called!) By Thursday afternoon I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday between 10-12. They called about 10:30 to say they were on the way. The job was completed in about 2.5 hours and at a cost that was less than another bid I received. Mike and Matt, the two technicians, were punctual, professional, neat and extremely nice to work with... not sure I would have been as friendly considering the 100+ degree weather and working in an attic that was considerably "warmer". Sign me up for the Mike and Matt/Legacy Plumbing fan club. I will be using them again.

Description of Work: Well, I know plumbers charge by the hour typically; however, for what the job required, thought this was very excessive!!! Matthew was very pleasant, friendly and educated on products/services, but what I had done were easy tasks for a licesed professional and he was there less than 2 hour, and had he not been so talkative, he probably would have been done within a hour! (But he was super sweet). I needed my gas line reconnected to the cooktop, the dishwasher reconnected to the sink and then the faucet reconnected/installed to the water source (this was also caulked around the trim). I paid $316.00 and this was AFTER an Angie's List discount of $50.00. So because of price, I'm unsure if I'd use them again, as I fear what I'd pay if I had a major catastrophy.

Description of Work: I have had this company out three times. The first time was to replace some faucets. The second time to replace toilet flushing assemblys and the offensive odor from my kitchen sink. I was advised by the plumber to use a product to rid the order. Unfortunetly, this did not work, but I was assured, in writing, that if it did not, it would be addressed at a certain price. I had to call them again and the work was done, the price was met, and the odor is gone. They are always punctual and have always resolved my problems. I a well pleased with the company, which I found on Angie's list. I have had other plumbers in the past who I thought were good, until they covered something over, which I found out later. I have had no such problem with this company. The owner has come out twice, and he is a pleasure to work with. You could find no better company than this.
