Overall, it went great and I would use "Backyard Creations" again, ad well as recommend them to friends.

We were extremely satisfied with the quality of service that we received from Creative Boundaries. From the very beginning, Mark Hicks was responsive and delivered on every commitment and promise. His ideas were very helpful in steering us to the optimum choices. We initially were interested in repairing/replacing our front stone border along the landscaping beds. Mark gave us alternative suggestions and we instead decided on a flagstone patio and some trees planted in the backyard. Because we work during the day, Mark came by the house in the evening and helped us decide on the work to be done. Mark continued to be very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Mark was present on the first day when the workers arrived and stopped by periodically to check on things.

Always great quality and attention to detail. I have used Backyard Creations for many projects for the past 2-3 years. Rich oversees the work so his expertise is present in what is done and where. He is available on the phone to discuss issues and what needs to be done. He also knows quality contractors for other services like patio/concrete work, etc. which we used to complete our backyard. They come when they say and are professional in every aspect. Would recommend Backyard Creations to anyone.

All the projects I've had performed by Backyard Creations have gone very smoothly. They are very professional and come prepared. The team arrives when scheduled, or they call should an issue arise. They work quickly and always clean up after. They don't cut corners like many companies do. As an example, I've had my backyard re-sodded almost every year since I've been here (it's a sun issue). Prior to using BY Creations, the other landscaper would just lay the new sod on top of the old and call it done. As you can imagine, over the years, my backyard became and uneven mess. When I first hired BY Creations, without any prompting from me, the team came in, dug up the old grass, leveled everything and the planted the new sod. My yard looked better than it had in years. No matter how big or small they treat all their jobs this way.

He took out a lot of flowers and replanted other ones for us. He redid the entire front yard and it looks great! His personality is very pleasant. He is very efficient and does things in a minimal amount of time and always shows up when he says he will. I give him my budget, and he comes up with something that I can afford. He is just very nice. He is interested in you as a person and what you want done, and how he can best take care of that for you. I would highly recommend him.

For the past 4 years I have had very bad experiences with landscapers. Usually, they did not seem to be knowledgeable about plants and trees nor the best way to care for them. They rarely weeded our flower gardens unless asked and killed a few young trees with their weed whackers. I very early on realized I needed a 'gardener', someone who would really take care of my yard. We live across the street from a park and I wanted our yard to appear as an extension of that lovely park. We just could not find anyone who was capable and honest. Then one day, I found Backyard Creations Landscaping Co.The owner is a horticulturist (A Gardener!). He knew more about plants and trees than I can think about. He knew what worked best in our Texas soil and heat and how to put it all together. He had his landscape designer create a drawing of how the backyard would look and how to carry that look around to the side of the home. He talked me through different flowers/plants and which ones would give the look and feel I wanted. He gave me a very complete price upfront with no hidden fees. I was very excited.I became ecstatic when his team came out. They rerouted my sprinkler system to better service the new flower beds that they then put in. They put in a walking path through the flowerbeds and trees. They expanded the patio to flow with the curves of the flowerbeds and I have requested that they stain the concrete of the patio to enhance it even more. What I really love about this Gardener and his team is that now that the creation is done, they will maintain it regularly for us. THAT is what I was looking for. I am content. ;-)

We had a wonderful experience working with Rich. He worked with us to design a yard that we absolutely love! He was very professional and knowledgeable and was extremely responsive. He is a very good listener, and was able to translate our ideas into designs. He made suggestions along the way the improved on our plans and we ended up with a wonderful yard. His crew worked hard and were respectful of us and our neighborhood. Rich has a great talent for designing beautiful spaces and the know-how to implement it. He was always so friendly and easy to work with. We definitely recommend him to anyone!

Rich knows his stuff and is very professional. He communicated what he was going to do and delivered on time. I never worried or had concerns during any of his projects. I would recommend to anyone I know.

The owner was always on time for appointments and available for follow up questions. Plant selection was excellent and properly installed. He was very prompt to answer his phone calls. He has excellent equipment and a good crew. Addendum: 2/16/12 He came ten days ago. He did some relaying of the sandstone. He did a great job and re-did the landscaping, as well. He put in a small drain to accomodate the drainage in the back yard.

Very knowledgeable about his product. What grows best in our area with less maintenance. Rich has an eye for creating "curb appeal". He has selected multiple trees and their placement and also designed and installed multiple flower beds. Very friendly and supportive, we've called for advice on numerous occasions and he's always been happy to help. Would definitly do business with and recommmend doing business with Backyard Creations.

This is an excellent company to deal with. Rich is extremely professional. He answers calls promptly, always arrives on time and exceeds my expectations. THey are very knowledgeable and professional.
