I attempted to call the "The Pool Scrubbers" for emergency service. I was told that they could help me and that I would receive a call later that day to schedule an appointment. I received no call yesterday and today I called them back getting someone else on the line. I informed them who I was, over the loud sounds of children in the background, and was informed that I was too far for them and that she had forgotten to call me back. "The Pool Scrubbers"' lack of contact will cost me even more money as every day the pool is getting in worse shape. Beware of this company, they lack even the basic professionalism of timely call backs for emergency situations.

Gave a fair estimate, did repairs as agreed and never tried to "Up Sale".

They were excellent. As a matter of fact, after the coupon that we used for them, we had an issue with our pool or something and they came out the first time, we have kept them on as our go-to company for anything that happens with our pool and they never have tried to sell us anything extra. They're absolutely the best we've had. They were very professional and dependable. They're my favorite company so far from Angie's List.

Really liked this company. When we called we weren't sure if the tile needed to be replaced. Chad told us he could replace it but that it really did not need it. It just needed a good cleaning and some minor grout work. He could have very well made more money by replacing the tile but was honest with us. They converted the pool to salt water and changed out the light system in our pool. the light system was $500 cheaper than we had previously been quoted. We had them take a part of our deck out and extend it out for a tanning area. The work was fabulous! They really worked with my schedule which was crazy due to all the contractors that were at my house over the course of the month. Overall, I am very pleased with the finished product. :-)

We discovered that our pool pump wasn't working yesterday and after doing some trouble shooting realized we needed a professional to come look at it. After some other companies told us they couldn't make it out the same day, Poolscrubbers came out within a couple of hours, checked it out , explained that we needed a new pump motor and they'd be back the next morning at 10am. They showed up right on time this morning and had us up and running with a new motor and pump in about 30 mins. They provided good, straight forward, friendly service. I would use them again.

Professional fast and efficient service. They installed a new pool heater but first diagnosed to see if it was cheaper to fix or if we were better off replacing.

The work was done professionally each time. The pool sparkled and was perfect each time. This time of year is especially tough with high winds, cold weather and lots of leaves falling. They did a perfect job. Prior to starting the pool cleaning I had them do a service on the pool/spa heater. They got to it within a day of my request and had it completely tuned up in one afternoon. Lastly and very important to me, they handle much communication and billing electronically by e-mail and text messages. Every time the pool is cleaned they send an e-mail on the pools condition and anything special they noticed that might need attention later. Their billing can be done by credit card, which you can keep on file with them. They respond quickly, seemingly day and night, to any questions or requests by e-mail. I've used Pool Scrubbers for several different issues on my pool and deck. The company has always promptly responded to my requests for service. They never make any repairs until they fully explain the problem, and give a cost estimate. I would highly recommend them and will continue using them for pool maintenance.

I sent a message on 11/23/13 via Angie's List messaging but have not received a response either via messaging or phone. I attempted to contact them this morning to no avail. I'm disappointed in the lack of responsiveness. If they didn't wish to do the 1 one time cleaning with a subsequent weekly cleaning contract they had only to let us know.

System was installed quickly and in a timely manner.

We are first time pool owners and just moved to the Houston from the Dallas Area and didn't know any good pool service people. We knew we needed to replace some equipment to get the pool functional again. The filter was a sand filter that was probably 15 years old and the plumbing needed some work as well. We actually had 7 different companies do bids on the work needed to be done. All the companies were on Angie's List and all of them had an "A" rating. For some reason the bids were split but there was like a $700 difference. Three companies estimated the work between $1800-1900. Four companies, including Pool Scrubbers were between $1050-1200. All the bids were basically the exact same thing, a cartridge filter (although the brands differed between Pentair and Hayward), a 3 way valve, and to add a time clock so pump kicks on at a certain time and turns off without us manually doing it every time. The 3 higher bid companies were basically charging almost $400-500 more for the filter than the other companies and would charge like an extra $100 for pvc pipe or other misc. items. We ended up getting a Hayward 425 sq. ft filter, but the other 3 bids were for either the exact same filter or the Pentair 420 sq. ft. and they just charged waaaaaayyyyy too much. Especially when you look up these model numbers on Amazon or other online places and realize what the mark up is on these items. The 3 other lower bids with Pool Scrubbers were relatively the same. And in all honesty, Pool Scrubbers was the highest estimate of the cheaper bids. However, sometimes it's not always about price. We felt comfortable with them, felt they were competent enough, and got a good vibe when they came to do the estimate. When Chad came to do the work, he brought his wife, LInda (owners), with him, so we were able to chat. After he installed everything, they both showed me how to operate the new equipment and made sure I was comfortable using it. I would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them.

I had fought to make this pool work for several years and the last two years, I all but gave up. We used it a few times a year and dumped tons of chemicals in it. It was a money hole with no enjoyment. We finally bit the bullet to get it either fixed or blown up. I sent several emails out asking for estimates from Angie's list providers on a Sunday. Matt responded within 2 hours and came over on a Sunday to set and talk with my husband and I about what we wanted. Matt did not give me the cheapest estimate, but I was not looking to go as cheap as possible. I was looking for an end to this headache. And bottom line , he was not that much over the cheaper estimates. He obviously knew what he was doing. He did not try once to push us into more than we wanted. In fact he advised much of what we did could wait. But did acknowledge that in the future it would need to be done. We wanted to do everything and get it over with. He walked us thru our choices and told us exactly what this was going to be like and how it would be very scary in the beginning as they destroyed what had to be destroyed. Victor lead the crew that did our pool, and we could not have asked for harder working men, nor more polite and knowledgeable We have dogs and they were wonderful about allowing bathroom breaks for the silly dogs who bark like crazy. This whole process took less than 2 weeks. He had told us it might take up to 3 weeks given weather problems and such, but they were done as I said in less than two weeks. Tonight , we are jumping in our hot tub. We did not go over budget and Matt himself did the finally walk thru and pool school. I am not sorry at all I paid a bit extra for these guys and would highly recommend them. Matt is responsive to phone calls, and never failed to live up to his promises. His crew was absolutely top notch and did a great job cutting some pretty complicated coping shapes. Matt promised to come back in around 3 months to show us how to clean our salt filter and filter cartridges. Simply went better than I every thought it would. You might want to know that I am normally rather cheap and expect a lot out of people. These guys delivered.

Pool Scrubbers promptly called me when I requested service. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and very customer service oriented. They were able to find a solution to an electrical problem that no one else could. I would definitely use them again for pool service.

They're great. They come every Monday. In my particular situation, my husband has suffered two Strokes last year. I'm having to learn about everything. They're really good about taking time and explaining how things operate to me. They charge $180 a month for a weekly pool maintenance. They come every week during the Winter and the Summer.

Matt was friendly and agreeable. We contacted him for an estimate to retile a portion of our pool wall. We initially had some miscommunication about meeting, but he bent over backwards to come see us and give us an estimate. After getting a few quotes, we decided to go with him. Our pool is 20 years old, and it was hard to find tile that would match. We were able to agree upon some tile that would closely match, but it had to be ordered and shipped here, which took some time. He had to work around our busy schedule and around the schedule of his installer, but he was patient and we finally found a time that would work. His installer, Victor, came with his crew and neatly and quickly did the job. It took about a day to complete. They kept as much of the water in the pool as they could so we wouldn't have to completely refill the pool. Once they finished, they got all the tile out of the bottom of the pool. Matt came by several times to check on their progress. After it was completed, he came again and had his employees vacuum the bottom of the pool to completely clean the bottom from any tile residue. We would definitely use them again in the future.

It went great. They guys are on top of it with all types of pools.

Chad, one of the owners, came out yesterday, told us he could secure a new heater and install it by dusk tomorrow, (which is today) And it is indeed installed and working beautifully!! This family owned company is wonderful, they all just click! Three of them showed up and they were done in less than 2 hours! We had estimates from two other pool companies and both of them told us it would take a week or more before they could get a heater and install it! I am thrilled to find Pool Scrubbers!! I've been using The Pool Scrubbers since March 2013. They are honest, reliable and technically excellent. All of this comes with a fair price. I've been through many pool companies; Finally, I am now able to retire my skimmer and titration kit with confidence.

Came morning after I called (YEA!) Were very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Kept me informed of their progress. Worked efficiently, and returned with the parts very quickly. All in all an excellent experience and a job well done. I am very pleased with this company. They suggested putting me on a list to remind me of the times the filter should be cleaned out. A very important and valued service. I hope to deal with the Pool Scrubbers for all my future pool service needs. I give them my highest recommendation.

I haven't used them and I don't know if I will use them as I'm still considering some things that they might be able to do for our pool. I think they're very fair and the individual we spoke with there was very helpful. I wanted to go with them but we just haven't made any progress to get to that point yet. The quote was very good compared to the other ones I got and he was just very helpful, informative and open. I liked the guy, but I just haven't used the services yet. We're doing a lot of the work ourselves and I hadn't anticipated that, but it looks like it's worked out so we could. The pool is not in as bad a shape as we thought it was when we moved in the house. There still is some work I may have the Pool Scrubbers company do when I get to that point.

More than satisfied with the service received. I contacted Pool Scrubbers on a Saturday and they were at my house on Monday. I received an email estimate of cost and schedule on Monday afternoon and they began work on Tuesday. I was out of town the entire week, which initially had me concerned, but Matt and Chad sent email updates daily with pictures and progress. When I returned home at the end of the week my pool was perfect, which I did not think was possible. Beyond the quality of the work, I think this company is one of the most professional that I have worked with for any service. I did not expect that from a pool service company and they exceeded my expectations of any service provider. I don't think they are the cheapest ( i had seen slightly lower prices on web pages of major pool service companies) but no question that they deliver the value for the money. I completely endorse and recommend Pool Scrubbers without any reservation.

Matt did an excellant job, immediately went to work right after my call and had it done in two days. He cleaned my DE filter and all the algae out of my pool and installed the Salt Water system. He delivers what is promised was punctual and thorough. The pool has never looked better! He even let my kids help who were running around asking him tons of questions about the job and I loved that he was very patient with them and even let them hold tools, etc. I would highly recommend him to others who want a salt water system.

The Pool Scrubbers have spent much time in making needed repairs and replacement parts as well as taking the time to educate us on our pool. They are always responsive in a timely manner and are very courteous and professional.
