They did a fine job. It was a little pricey.

Did a good job. They had to call to confirm the coupon from Angie's List. They came about 4 hours before appointment time.

We attempted to do the repair and had all the parts which they were able to use.

Don't want to write too much. 1. Did the work well and on time. 2. No short cuts when explaining the issue 3. Documented the work well and with very good handwriting... that is a big plus to me. 4. The price was what I expected. 5. I don't grade on personality but if you are a person who does very nice people and makes it easy to ask questions.

Levi and Steve checked the problem with the tub and found that the Moen knob needed to be replaced. They also checked the other bathroom for a musty smell. They determined that there was no significant problem. They left to go buy the new knob and were back to finish within an hour of leaving. They were polite and efficient.

I had a water leak at the street just past the meter, The 2 technicians dug up the small area where the leak was and fixed it. The work was first rate. I will recommend them anytime someone asks about plumbing companies.

The water line that leads from the meter to the house broke with a shift in the ground. I called Sam's. They came in, confirmed the problem, offered me 3 different ways to repair it (each a different price/extent of repair). They dug it up, showed me the break, repaired it, showed me the repair and then re-burined it. This is the second time I've used them. The first time, they came out to clean a sewer drain. After checking it out, they told me the problem was that I needed a new toilet - the original had calcified to the point it wasn't moving enough water. I told the man honestly that I'd replace that myself. He wouldn't take any money and even suggested a good replacement (4 inch drain). I was pretty impressed! I was pleased with both experiences and will use them from now on as "my" plumbers.

We had people come out 9 months ago for the same things, and they charged us a lot of money. He didn't charge me at all! He was very efficient in his work, polite, and professional. He could have sold me a new sprayer for the kitchen or replace the faucet, but he didn't. He seemed to enjoy his work, and he explained everything throuroghly and was very expainatory.

My toilet had a very small leak in the bottom left side. After research on Angie's List I decided to call Sam The Plumber and set up an appointment. My window was between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. They were an hour late, but the job before me took some time and they were driving from Friendswood. Levi and Sean were very professional and friendly and knew right away what the problem was. Said it would take about one hour, but I don't think it took 30 minutes. Everything looks like it's fixed and no more leak. I would use them again. Very professional, know what they are doing and prices are reasonable.

This is the second time using Sam The Plumber and again I was very happy with their services and pricing. They are very professional and friendly too. I would recommend them for plumbing problems.

I had a drain clog issue outside and he was able to fix for me. He was on time and clean. I wished that he would work on the communication skills from customer to himself, but that was my only complaint.

Roughly a month ago, my kids double sink experienced a clog. I couldn't dislodge it with a snake or pressure because of the double sink layout and draino (always a last resort) didn't work. The problem is that the T junction in the wall doesn't allow the snake (a twisted wire device used to unclog drains) to reach clogs further down the line. So you have to go into the attic to access the stack (a vertical pipe that goes from the roof to the sewer line). I called the plumber to do this because I had reached my level of incompetence and wanted an easier access installed to get at clogs down the line. I let them know exactly what I wanted and set up a time for them to do it. They showed up without the part needed, which was disappointing as I was on a schedule. They had to go to a local big box store for the part and return... I had a neighbor stay and supervise until I returned home with the kids from school. At that point, the drain clog had been removed and a rubber boot had been installed in the stack in the attic for future clearing operations. The technician was apologetic about the part and the scheduling, but performed the task quickly, cleanly, and without problems. He was also very knowledgeable and took the time to share advice and knowledge about plumbing issues and prevention with me. Very impressed. The pricing was reasonable , but the service was excellent. Apparently, Sam the Plumber sold out awhile back, so the guys you get on service calls are all plumbers who work for the company. I would recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Sam, the Plumber, is a company I will definitely use again. Tony and Levi are extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing services.

I contacted sam the plumber and asked how much it would be to replace a garbage disposal that went out. I was given a range and told that if i pick one up from home depot or lowes, and had everything ready to go, it wouldnt take very long to install. The gentleman called prior to arriving and was right on time. He went straight to work, I watched the whole time and he explained everything as he went. I have to say that with taking out the old one and putting in the new one, it could not have been more than 20 minutes. He was professional amd courteous and new what he was doing. The price was very good and i feel that if i have any other plumbing issues they will be called first.

Sam, the Plumber, is a company I'll use again. I recommend their services. I called, was able to get an appointment, and they called before they came out to let me know their status. Both men were dress well and looked professional. They fixed the problem and did a great job caulking.

My water heater was not heating and I tried to relight the pilot light without any success. I called Sam the Plumber. The person who answered the phone was very professional and courteous. He made the appointment for later on the same day, between 2 & 4. I told him that was fine because we are home all day. About a half hour later, he called back and said they had a cancellation and he could have someone at my house in 45 minutes. He gave me the name of the plumber who would be coming, which I really appreciated! Josh R and Josh S arrived in about 35 minutes, checked out the situation, and told me 2 things that could be the problem. He gave me quotes on both solutions, and started the repair with the least expensive solution first. It worked! I have never had a good experience with plumbers until today. It was a stress free experience. Josh kept me informed of everything he was doing and how much it would cost! I think they were in and out of my house is 30 minutes or less and left behind a working water heater. This was also the least I have ever paid a plumber! They do not even charge a service fee! Sam the Plumber will definitely be my plumber for now on!

Called in problem about 5 PM. Two young workman arrived about 8:10 PM. I was informed ahead of time that a $75 overtime fee would apply, which is standard procedure in the industry for after hours work. The workers diagnosed the problem and informed me that they would have to drive to a nearby Home Depot to obtain materials. The lead plumber quoted a price of about $225. They were gone for an hour. The job became a little more complicated than first analyzed when they realized they would need to dig down to the elbow and replace the entire section of pipe to fix the problem correctly. The new quote was around $300. They completed the job around 11:10 They were very nice and I would recommend them, but I am a little surprised that they would not carry more parts and supplies in their truck. The trip to Home Depot added an hour on to the job.

I called for an estimate and they were out the next day, on time. Work was scheduled and completed the next day. Very happy with their service.

From the time we first called Sam the Plumber, we were very pleased with their responsiveness and willingness to accommodate our schedule. Josh R came out on Saturday - he was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. He took his time to methodically diagnose the issue. He was able to find a small piece of debris that hampered the operation of the garbage disposal. Although we weren't able to replicate the leaking issue, I was impressed with Josh's persistence in trying multiple scenarios in order to identify the root cause. He also double checked the screws and plates in the unit. Before leaving, Josh reassured us that he would come out again if the disposal unit started leaking and the initial service cost would be applied to future repairs. He advised us on key features of new garbage disposal units because I had expressed that I may be in the market for one soon. Josh was friendly, professional and the price was great. The company honored the $19.95 Angie's list coupon without hesitation.

Charlie and his assistant were extremely professional and kept me informed of all their findings and recommendations, including why he was making his recommendations. I hadn't even checked Angie's List! I chose them because previous family members had used them and found their work to be excellent and their prices to be extremely fair. I just happened to mention that I had recently bought an Angie's List Big Deal for some other work and Charlie said they were members of Angie's list and that I would get a 10% discount!!! I was really impressed that he volunteered that information. I guess I won't forget to check the list again! It took them about 4 hours to complete the job. He completely cleaned up after the job was finished. They are now the only plumbers I will ever use. They even recommended a water remediation company to evaluate how much damage had been done by the leak. That will be another review because I have now had to have part of my bathroom gutted, as well as quite a lot of my new laminate flooring around the bathroom!

They came out and did the work for us that Five Star Flooring paid for. They also did two covers for us that they didn't charge for. We definitely will use them in the future.

I called Sam the Plumber at 730a and Josh Redding was at my door by 9a. He shook my hand, walked out with me to check the problem, and gave me an estimate on the spot. Josh completed all the work quickly and professionally and was right on the estimate. I HIGHLY recommend them and will use them for my future plumbing needs.

They did a terrific, super job for me. Sam was very gracious, flexible, and generous with me. They treated me so kindly.

I called early 7/8/13. Plumber was to be here at 1pm. received 2 calls on status.. Mike arrived at 1:15pm Fixed the problem in short time and reduced bill from estimate.

Sams was able to come out same day. My washer pipe was clogged and flooded the laundry room. With loads of laundry to do I was in dire straights. They came out same day, explained to me about my OLD pipes. Fortunately they found a dryer sheet that had clogged the drain and was able to retrieve it to alleviate the clog. I was very happy with the technicians, they were courteous, professional and knew these older home pipes ! I would definable recommend them !
