He was very professional and friendly. He fixed our problem, cleaned up, and gave us advice on how to prevent it in the future. What a blessing to get the work done so quickly and professionally at such a late hour. We will definitely use this company again.

Wonderful service. First, they came within one hour of my call. The serviceman was very professional and explained the likely scenarios and possible outcomes once he checked out the problem. He gave me an estimate for both likely scenarios. He tried the cheapest solution first and it worked great. He found and removed the cause of the plug. If the problem is not completely resolved they guarantee the initial unplugging for 7 days, so they will come out again if needed. I recommend them and will use them again, for sure.

I was very impressed with the prompt service I recieved. I called the office at 8:05 a.m. and they said they could have someone out today. By 10:00 a.m. I got a call saying Stevie was in the area and on his way. Stevie and John arrived at 10:15. They were very professional and explained everything they did in detail and showed me where the clog was. They cleared the clog right away and explained there was a 90 day warranty. Thanks for the great work guys. You're Awesome!

The men who came were punctual and professional. The work was completed as contracted with high quality workmanship. All the work areas were cleaned up with great detail. My wife and I would definitely use Sam the Plumber again and recommend the company highly.

I was really debating between them and the other one. Next time I will probably go with them instead of the first. The guys are really nice. I thought the quote was slightly high but in the end the other guys charge for the hour but they ended up not charging for the hour. Sam doesn't charge by the hour but per project I think. I really thought they were great. The whole idea was I thought I was saving money with the other company. I did some other things myself that they gave me a quote for. I was pretty happy. There were two guys that came out. They worked together and they actually found one of the things that I thought the problem was. They checked into it and said no, it was something a lot simpler. The other guy didn't even checked. They were going to go in and start cutting because that's what I thought might be the problem or something in the wall. But these guys actually checked it out first and then found that in fact it was just something that needs to be unclogged and they didn't actually have to go through the wall.

The plumbers came as promised I was talking with them over the phone( I was at work) Told them to remove the stuck cartridge from the old broken shower fixture and install a new cartridge. They said the cartridge is broken in such a way that it cant be removed they will have to go from the behind the shower and cut open sheetrock install a new housing connect all pipes(solder). I have my doubts Plumber wanted more job so said cant remove the stuck broken cartridge. I felt like I was taken for a ride. Previous night I had been to Home Depot so I knew that the Moen chrome fixture which comes with all the parts is in the range $100 to $150. (I think Sam the plumber gets discount on parts Plumber could have paid $60 for the fixture) Installation for plumbers should be $250 at the max. But these guys would not buzz, they said there price is $625 all inclusive!! Price doesn't include Sheetrock repair!!. This was Friday afternoon I had to shut off my water supply to the whole house for this issue and next was weekend (They charge 50% more in weekends). In short they took my advantage. They knew that this has to be done ASAP, so they jacked up the price. Sam the plumber knew that If I would not have gotten shower faucet fixed from them I had to wait until Monday or Tuesday next week that too without water. This is my first Angies list call(I just became member) and I was taken advantage of. Wow I expected better price. After telling the plumber three times that I am Angies list member he gave me $25 off and fixed the sheetrock. I think they did a good job but too much money$600 for a simple Shower fixture!!! .

Great. Everything was installed correctly. The price was as quoted and was reasonable (right in the middle of the typical price range for installation). The two gentleman that performed the installation was very professional and courteous. Would definitely use again.

They were able to send someone immediately because of a cancellation. They plumber and helper arrived in about 30 mins. They identified the cause they thought in about 15 mins and immediately began the repair. Completed repair in about 30 mins. Now we will see if the leal is truly stopped.

The work was repaired quickly. Complete explanation of the work was provided. I felt the cost was very reasonable.

It went fine. I have used them before and they are really thorough. They are also timely and when you call them they show up right away and they get working on the service quickly. They have always done a good job for me.

Danny evaluated the situation and quickly found the reason and source of water under the floor. I coukd not be more pleased! I called at 7:30 am to report my problem. The office was not opened yet but called back to schedule a same day appointment. They said between 1 and 3 pm. Danny called at 11:30 am saying he was on the way. I was certain based on the floor buckling that the floor was ruined. He located the problem quickly, and even tightened the tank to the base which was very loose but had nothing to do with the leak. He confirmed his diagnosis by looking at the water meter insuring water was not being used once the toilet was removed. He showed me how he was making the repairs and why, as the days have passed sice the repair the floor seems to be straightening out as it dries and there is no further water coming uo through the floor.

They were supposed to arrive at 5:00. Danny and Stevie were early. They were efficient and professional. They did such a good job and were so efficient that I almost felt guilty using the Angie's List coupon that I had printed from online.

Chris and Stevie were here on time. The y were both very professional and courteous. The job was done in a minimal amount of time, and I have hired them to come back to do more plumbing repairs later. Chris explained the reason that he did not contact me after the initial visit, and I understand that such things do happen. Yes, I will hire them again. I already have.

Took out old water heater and installed new one

He was very, very good. He had to remove bricks and he put them back perfectly. He was very knowledgeable. He did very good work. I have referred this company to others.

These folks were really great to deal with. Would I call them again to address any future plumbing issues? Absolutely.. A+++++

We've used Sam the Plumber before at our home, but this time I called for my elderly parents who live in an adjoining town. I got a late afternoon appointment so I could get off work early & be there. Appointment window opened and 15 minutes later a crew showed up at our home. (Apparently there was some mix-up, human or computer, that resulted in them putting on the work order the address they had on file for me rather than the one I gave for the work to be done.) However, my wife sent them on their slightly puzzled way and they arrived at the correct address still within the appointment window. The work proceeded apace, and they were done within half an hour. They thoroughly explained what was wrong and that the toilet might need to be replaced if the problem persisted, but so far, so good.

I had a water leak between the water meter and the house. I explained that this was a major problem for my house as I had to turn the water off. They had someone out in just over 3 hours. Well done. I was quoted $425.00 and told that they should be done in about an hour. Two people, one hour, $425. I thought it was a little high, but not out of the ball park. It took hours and much digging to locate the leak. I was observing much of the time and they did not dig up the yard needlessly, it really was hard to find. Both of these gentlemen plumbers worked hard for 5 hours. (10 man hours for $425) I think I got the better end of this deal, but will call them out next time and give them another chance to make their money back. The only issue that I have with this job is that I need a landscaper to come in and repair my yard. I understand that is the way it goes with plumbers. But to add and end in their favor, they found the leak and repaired and found another joint that would go soon and repaired that also without being asked. All in all, good, honest, gentlemen represented their company very well.

They arrived at my house within the timeframe I was given. I was not home but my son was there to let them in. They gave me the cost of fixing the clogged drains over the phone. By the time I got home they fixed the clogged drains and was cleaning up. They had cleaned the shower and was starting to clean the tub. They discussed that there could be some issues outside of my house and they could run a video camera in the sewer line but I was not interested.

I had to reschedule service since the first time they didn't make it within time. What make it worse was I had to call them. I had used them before and the person they sent was excellent. This time the person they sent was fine but the clean up was a mess. In fact I didn't notice until they left that they dripped toilet water on my rug and now I'm cleaning it until I get a rug cleaner out here. Also, they used my hand towel to dry the excess water when removing the toilet and just left it in the sink for me to clean up. When it comes to this type of work if you're not clean then quality does not matter.

It was great. I've used them a couple times before. They're professional, they have reasonable price. They did a thorough job. I'm very happy with the workmanship, professionalism and price. They even added an additional line to my refrigerator which gave me an ice make which I never had before. It was kind of a surprise because they ran an extra pipe down the inside wall so I could have an ice machine. There was some rack that they had displaced to get into some of the piping. They actually put it back nicely. They said they were responsible for the ship rack repair and I would have to have that done. Honestly they did such a good job of replacing the ship rack back to the original position, it's not perfect if I was to sell the house but it’s certainly liveable...very clean cuts and they were able to put back pieces and sealed it back for me. They're local which I like too...I like local companies. They've been always on time. They cleaned up everything nicely. I'm very happy with them and I highly recommend them.

The service provided by Sam the Plumber on 2/13/14 was exceptional. The technician arrived earlier than my appointment. It was explained to me what was to be done and how much it would cost. The technician was very insightful and knowledgeable. The service was great. Thanks

I called Sam The Plumber on Thursday night and told them what the problem was. They asked if it could wait until Friday and I said absolutely. He asked me how we found out about them. I told him we had used them before but I had noticed that they are in the February Angie's List. I said it shows a $19.95 service call for Angie's List Memebers. On Friday I called to see what time we were on the schedule. I was told they would be here between 12noon and 3:00pm. They would call when they were on the way. They arrived a little before 1:00pm (called first). It took about 15 to 20 minutes (if that long) to unstop the toilet. The plumber handed me the invoice for a total of $89.00. I don't know if we got the $19.95 service call or not. I forgot to ask because we had company coming and I was in a hurray. The men were very professional, nice, on time, didn't make a mess, and did a great job. I would recommend Sam The Plumber to anyone that needs a Plumber. Beverly Stanford
