They were excellent. They were very good. I would recommend them to anybody to use. The guy who does the appliance repair, his name is Mark. He is absolutely wonderful. He was late getting here; but when he got here, he was great. I thought the price is good.

I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Outstanding. I heard back from Mark the day after I submitted my request. He provided a "best guess" estimate over the phone & we scheduled an appointment for a day or two later. He arrived on time, inspected the washer to confirm his over-the-phone estimate and repaired it quickly, for the price he originally quoted (minus the Angie's List coupon). Professional and prompt. I would definitely use them again, as well as recommend them to others.

Everything went perfectly. The technician called 15 minutes prior to arrival and was on time within the two hour window provided when the appointment was made. The technician was very professional, very pleasant and very knowledgable. A single service charge covered all three appliances. Diagnosis on the icemaker was completed in minutes. Technician had the required replacement part in his vehicle. Breakdown of the freezer door and shelves was handled very carefully so as not to disturb the freezer contents or in anyway damage or scratch the freezer. Icemaker was replaced and the freezer reassembled, It is now working perfectly. Ovens were heated and the temperatures did vary from from the digital display; one was too hot, one not hot enough. Display was adjusted through manufacturer's set-up options. Ovens are now operating consistently and perform in accordance to most recipes. I was very happy with the service and would not hesitate to use Captain's Cooling in the future.

I called Captains Cooling on Friday, September 30th and spoke to Mr. Mark Hall. I told him that I had a 22 year old built-in oven that would not light. He asked for the brand name which was General Electric and told me he could be here the following Monday afternoon. He arrived at 2pm on Monday, October 3rd just as promised, quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the necessary part, tested the oven and was finished in about 30 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. He left the area clean as well as leaving the old part. My oven works like a charm again. I will definitely use the services of Captains Cooling again in the future for appliance repair.

Mark hall was on time, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and nice.

Mark did a good job but is alittle on the pricey side.

It went just fine. No problems. But I felt his price was simply too high. He worked 20 minutes. Not only did he charge me the parts and labor (about $160). He also chareged me about $90 for the service call, which seemed too high. But the man did good work so I'll likely use him again if I can spare the extra cost of using him.

They gave us a quote on February 21st and did the service the next day. When they came and gave the quote he was very easy to deal with, very nice and very direct. They were terrific. They were good from start to finish. I can?t say enough good things about them. We had no complications. They were replacing the unit in a two-story house, and I did not even know they were here. That is how good they were. They were very professional. I could not have asked for better. I would recommend them to others. We will be their customers for life. We would use them again in the future.

It?s the best company that I have ever used. They were very responsive, polite and professional. It would be really nice if more companies run their business like these guys. The repair person worked as per the schedule. He worked out a way in which he could fix the washing machine when he really didn?t have time. He came in, worked, checked the washing machine and finished at 7 o?clock in the night. I have even referred them to my friends. I will use their services over and over again in the future.

Every time we have used them, the estimate has been fair. the work has been done well, and with a smile, and we have been very happy. We have recommended them to countless friends and coworkers who have also been happy. They may not be the absolute cheapest but they will do it right the first time, and clean up when they go. I trust them with any work I need to have done.

I called after reading reviews on Angies list and spoke with Randy. Randy referred me to Mark who does the appliance repair. I called Mark and we scheduled the appointment. Mark was running a little later than expected but he called to let me know. Mark inspected the icemaker and then let me know what needed to be fixed and showed me a written estimate before starting the work. He had the parts for my ice maker already on his truck so he was able to do the repair during that same visit. Mark was very professional and courteous. I especially appreciated his consideration for my wood floors and other things near the refrigerator. I definitely recommend him and will use him again.

After having new flooring installed (they had to remove the appliances to do the flooring), we were having problems with our dishwasher not working properly and a strong odor of gas from the stove when in use. Mark Hall arrived within the service window we had set to do the repairs. The floor men had kinked the water hose to the dishwasher when they re-installed it. Mark removed and straightened the hose to prevent this from happening again in the future. He used a gas leak detector and thoroughly checked the stove for leaks. No leaks were detected. We decided the smell of gas was likely due to a reaction between the gas flame and the remaining fumes of paint/glues and other chemicals used in the house over the last several days. (The smell had been strongest immediately following all the repairs we had done and has been diminishing each day as we have been trying to air the house out). Mr.Hall was very neat and professional. I would use this company again.

We have used them several times. They are fine. It was not their fault but the refrigerator company?s fault. My overall experience with them has been good. The representative had a good personality and the customer service was good. He didn?t dilly dally. He was here when he said he would be. Their price was line with others. The quality of work was good. They responded quickly to my call. The representative was very professional.

My daughter's stove is a 1985 36" Magic Chef range that she absolutely loves. Unfortunately, finding replacement parts was difficult. When her oven quit working, Mark checked out everything and still couldn't get the oven to work. He had never encountered a problem like the one with her oven. Rather than give up when he couldn't obtain the part, he said it was personal, and he would see to it that my daughter's oven would be fixed! I did a search online, sent him pictures and part numbers, and after 2 tries, we finally got the genuine, correct part. Mark put it in, made sure gas and electric were properly hooked up and not dislodged during repair, and now her oven works like a charm! This company is extremely professional, dependable, and reasonable. They were formerly known as Appliance Repair Specialist. Randy Weisinger and Mark Hall have been our "go to" repairmen for years. They have repaired my washer, dryer, refrigerator, and my daughter's oven over the years. I also referred them to my neighbor. Mark repaired her washer, and she was extremely pleased. I cannot say enough good things about these guys, they are the best! They repair air conditioners also. Give them a call. I'm voting them for the hall of fame of good work. :) Donna DeShazo

Made an appointment for service. He did not call or arrive at the appointed time so I called him a bit later. He had been delayed but arranged to come by within an hour or so. He was courteous and quickly ascertained the problem. Since he did not have one of the parts required, we arranged for him to return Monday at 1:00 PM. He was about two hours late for the appointment, but went right to work installing the fan and control board. It took almost 3 hours to complete the job. He was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. He had given the price on his initial visit. I paid him by check. The freezer and refrigerator are working fine. He said there is a 90 day labor and 1 yr parts waranty. I recommend him highly and would use him again without hesitation.

Randy came out on a high priority basis and diagnosed the problem. After attempts to restart the unit failed, we both determined a need to replace the unit. Randy also repaired sloppy work from a prior serviceman's work. He had the unit delivered the next day and was installed by a competent team that was respectful of my property. Randy followed up with several calls during the install and a few days later to see if everything was to my satisfaction. Randy was referred to me by a co-worker and I highly recommend his work. Will definitely use him again for ac/heating as well as appliance repair. Great job and service.

Profesional ,dependable great promptness as promised.

Great. He identified the refrigerator issue first. The problem was the overload relay for compressor. He shook it for me and it sounded like cracker jacks and wasn't supposed to make noise. Then he showed me the motor on the ice maker was shorted out by letting me look at his meter. He gave me three choices of repair, told me which was best option and why. Then he went out to truck and got all the parts and completed all repairs in less than an hour. The price was as quoted - no surprises. Additionally, I asked him about replacing a built in microwave. He told me it would be cheaper to replace and where to go for estimate and installation. I also asked him about some stains on dryer top. He told me there was nothing I could do because ti was painted metal - not porcelain. He then changed a water filter on the refrigerator with a new one I had but did not know how to install. (no charge)

It went well. The repair man was quick and professional.

Mark was completely successful in repairing the operation of the dishwasher door and reinserting the dishwasher in it's enclosure such that, it was parallel to the cabinet and level. The dishwasher works just fine. He cheerfully tolerated our yapping Chihuahua. At all times Mark left us with confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing.

Randy is personable, knowledgeable and highly competent. He checked back several times after the work was completed and even came by to make sure how the system was working. I have recommended him to countless people where I work and all have come back with glowing reports. I was getting ready to buy new appliances and Randy advised me on the reliability and value of various appliances. Randy is ''good people''staightforward, honest, highly skilled and with a sense of humor to boot. I actually enjoyed spending the money and have been quite pleased with the system.
