This was a popular offer, so it took a little while for them to get us scheduled. But once they did they were very professional and the installer did a great job. He was very friendly and explained what he was doing. I would highly recommend Rain Leak Solutions for any service they provide.

It took months for the work to get scheduled. Once it was finally scheduled, the job was completed in a couple of weeks.

They were very detail-oriented and tried to make the fit perfect. The crew we dealt with was very pleasant and we enjoyed meeting and working with them. A good experience!

I bought the Big Deal back in December 2012. They sent an email right away stating that they were overwhelmed and asked me to be patient. I called them in March because after waiting 3 months I had not heard back from them. After being quoted an estimate of $450 + above the deal price, I asked for a refund the on deal, but the owner talked me out of it and said that he would come take a look and see what he could do to help me. I told him when I was available and he never called or came out like he said he would. Not the kind of company I want to do business with. Too many unreturned phone calls and emails.

Update...as of 12/15/13: I called Randy 'cause the ice/sleet storm caused a gap on the roof, which leaked to interior. Randy was great. Responded within a couple of hours. We chatted, set an appt., then as he realized that ice was still built up on most roofs in the area, suggested we delay a day, if I could go up and try to get most offending ice off the roof. No problem...I did that and Randy came all the way down to Fort Worth on a SUNDAY to fix the problem. Was professional, responsive, good-natured and very good about explaining what needed to be done. I have recommended that the young woman purchasing my house keep Randy's name if she has any questions or work to be done. I recommend him highly. Spring 2013: Ten days ago, I was going to write a frustrated, poor review. Randy has overscheduled himself, I think....the Angie's List coupon he offered in December got a LOT more work than he anticipated....maybe limit it to the first 50 or something..... I started to worry that I was never going to get my work done, especially since I found out he did roof work as well...and I'd had a leak for a couple of years...no one could find and fix it, including another Angie's List roofing company. And the rainy season is coming..... So: Like many others, I purchased the AL coupon in December. In February, Randy finally was able to stop by the house to give me an estimate. While he was here, I told him about the flat, metal part of my roof that no one seemed to be able to stop from leaking. He immediately got his ladder, popped up there, with caulk gun in hand, and found a bunch of loose caulking that the roofer who'd been just a few weeks prior had completely missed (big surprise since he was only here for 15 minutes). He re-caulked and took a good general look around while up there. Remember, he was only there to give an estimate......which he did (verbal). I was thrilled...and it appeared that his 5 minutes of work DID fix the leak. So, weeks went by, every now and then, we correspond by email or phone...busy, busy, busy. I was getting frustrated and worried that I'd, well, not wasted my money...'cause he did fix the leak...., but that I'd never get the masonry done. And, I wanted to use RANDY, 'cause he is very well-spoken, patient, experienced, professional, and just plain nice. Glad I waited. He came out last week, did all the work, with a helper, and stayed within the estimate he'd given me. I would, and do, recommend him....but would qualify it....be persistent to get him out timely. I have a bit more work for him to do, on my roof. He's gave me a written estimate while here last week, and I am waiting for him to free up some time to come back out to do it. I have every confidence he will do a very good job.

Bought the big deal and never got service or response - finally used another Angies List service

I had a foundation issue and that caused several bricks to crack, as well as spacing between mortar lines. I had Randy from Rain Leak Solutions come out. He fixed up that problem area and I ended up having him go around the house to get the major spot holes in the mortar. Randy was very easy to schedule and knows his stuff. I would highly recommend.

Scheduling was a bit difficult but when the repairman came out he was great. He mentioned that he would do some additional work but we didn't hear from them again. When someone else called from the company, he was not aware that any work had been done. Given the somewhat poor communication, I'd rather just not have the other work that was promised done. I'm glad our mailbox brick was repaired.

The company was supposed to call to schedule an appointment. I called multiple times and left messages and got no response. I requested a refund from Angie's List.

They were fabulous. He was right on time and very professional. I felt like he went above and beyond. He did such a good job that you cannot tell that any work has been done.

I got a few emails from the company saying they were very busy from the offer which I understood. I never try to schedule an offer right after buying it. It was December. I said I could wait as late as March. I wrote them in early Feb, to get scheduled. A gentleman came out in early Feb to look at my retaining wall which needed some light patching of cement throughout the structure. He would get with his partner and they would schedule a time to do the work. Then I heard nothing. I sent them an email asking "what happened". They said they were in "crisis management" and would get back to me the following week. I didn't hear back. I really do not have time to chase down contractors who cannot get their act together. It's old and tiresome in this city. I am pursuing getting my money back from Angies list from this not so good deal.

My wife and I worked closely with RLS owner Randy Clyde. Although we purchased one of Angie's Deals we knew there was a strong possibility that the cost would be significantly more than the coupon cost. Randy e-mailed us within a few days of our coupon purchase. We scheduled a time for RLS to come out and look at what needed to be done and give us a proposal. Our home is 17 years old and has settled significantly over this period. Prior to RLS doing their work we had a foundation engineer come out and evaluate the settling cracks in our brick and stonework. The engineer's diagnosis was that the home had experienced normal settling and did not have any foundation issues. Randy and his crew of two others worked on our 3600 square foot two story home over two days and put in approximately 24 man-hours. They sealed virtually every crack, hole, and space in both mortar and bricks. We had a significant vertical crack (10 feet) in the Austin Stone above our garage and entry-way. Randy did a perfect color match and restored the facade to like-new condition. We also had a vertical "tear" through both mortar and brick. RLS was able to match the color of our brick and again, it is nearly invisible and good as new. Randy and his crew were true gentlemen and professionals. They take much pride in their work and would not leave until we were completely satisfied. A note to potential customers: Remain patient and flexible as exterior work is highly dependent on the weather and excellent workmanship is well-worth the wait! We highly recommend Rain Leak Solutions.

Not performed. MY FAULT - services were not performed because I failed to schedule despite NUMEROUS follow up calls from Rain Leaks Solutions to schedule the work...several calls well after the coupon expiration date.

I purchased this before Christmas. It took several calls to get them out due to the response to the deal.I had to call several times and then they missed the appointment. I did learn that the terms of the deal were misstated, but it still covered what I needed done. The work was perfomed and meets my expectations.

They were excellent. They were prompt and they did the job and left. They accomplished what they were set out to do which was to seal the doors.

I purchased as an Angie's List Deal after out first cold front. I could feel cold air drafting through out two large french doors. Raymond called me the week after purchase and explained that they had sold lots of the Deals and was trying to prioritize everyone's needs. I told him my problem was just cold air and no water leaks, etc. Raymond said that it would be a couple of weeks before he could get to me. He called back in two weeks and set appointment. He and two other employees showed up on time on the afternoon of appointment and did a very satisfactory job.

After purchasing the Big Deal for multiple outside masonry crack repairs, Randy of Rain Leak Solutions emailed me before the Christmas holiday to validate my purchase. As this was not an emergency, I agreed to a follow-up in February. He did so, and Chip came to the house to view the work and make an estimate. After I agreed, the work was scheduled as planned within a few days of the visit. Workmen came on time, were professional, and estimate for work was same as agreed. They took extra care to match mortar to the brick colors, and the polymer content for mortar is expected to expand/contract to accommodate foundation clay soil changes with weather. They also replaced crumbling cement corners to the garage, and identified and repaired a small attic access hole the squirrels had made. The two workmen that came (Chick and David) were professional, kept me informed and cleaned up very well. Randy also came by to check on the work and talk with me. Overall they worked approximately 1 1/2 days. I was very pleased and highly recommend them for work well done. I understand they had a lot of replies to their offer which may have led to some delayed replies, but I had no complaints at all.

Rain Leak Solutions did the stuff that we paid for and they went around and checked what else we may need but they have not given us a bid for it yet. They were a little overwhelmed by the response they got from the deal, and so I think they weren't prepared and then they had personnel issues so the guy who works with Randy - chip was being very nice, he really wanted to do a good job, he was trying to help Randy out but they just got inundated, they didn't expect so many calls, so they took a little longer but they were good. I would definitely use them again. They had to come back as they hadn't fixed the threshold of the door the first time, and that took them longer and we had to wait. I am happy. They handled the problem and that is important.

The work was terrific and the communication was good, as well. My only concern is that the work took 4-6 weeks to get done from the time I signed up. Not a big deal in the overall scheme of things, but I would have preferred a quicker response. That said, again, they did a good job and I'd most definitely hire them again

Shortly after purchasing the Big Deal we were informed that the company received a greater response than expected and there may be a delay in getting to everyone. However, if it was an emergency they would contact you sooner. They kept us informed of the timeframe and arrived on time on the scheduled day. Randy looked at all 5 doors and told us what he needed to do. It took him approximately 3 1/2 hours to complete all 5 doors. I think we got what we paid for.

We spoke with Randy Clyde before Christmas about repairing brick cracks on our home. He said he would call and schedule a service date after the first of the year. He never called. So I left voice mails for him several times and finally went to his website and sent an email on February 18 requesting a call. He never responded to the voice mails or the email. Even if he were to call now after waiting two months, his non-responsiveness has given me a very negative impression of him and his company. I plan to find someone else who does this type of work.

They did a good job. The service I received was good, and I would use them again in the future.

The owner was rude. I have an issue with the response from the business The business owner gave me the name and # of the brick layer he uses I paid the brick layer for his great work. No thanks to the owner of this business.

The appointment was set for a Saturday with a 2 hour window. They showed up on time, explained everything involved, and completed the work as described. The price was even lowered from the quoted price before the work started as one door was able to use a less expensive part.

He arrived on time...took a look at the 3 doors that needed to be weatherstripped...started immediately and was finished within 45 minutes...very efficient and job done perfectly...
