It took a while after buying the job for us to sync up. Seems the weather played a factor as well as having others in the area. Once I explained that all 3 doors were covered and they would not be in the elements that seemed to make a difference and they were finally able to come out and on time. The guys were friendly and very efficient in doing their jobs and explained what they were going to do. They showed me the bottom rubber on the one door that needed replacing and I had that done. The price for that alone was $45 and I thought was extremely high but I could see why it needed replacing. I thought the overall pricing was on the high side but since all 3 doors were leaking and it was costing money for heating and A/C I thought it would pay for itself in short order. Over all I was pleased with the work.

They got many responses from the special that they offered and it took a deal longer to get the work done than I first anticipated but it did get finished and works better than it ever has. I did have to pay a little extra because my doors were over sized compared to normal doors.

I liked Randy. He was quiet, diligent and seemed to respect my property. He kept his work areas clean. Everything was great except for one thing. I feel like one of the aluminum weather stripping pieces probably sat awkwardly in his truck for a while because a 1.5 foot section of the rubber part attached to the aluminum was bent and wouldn't return to it's full blown normal state. The section of rubber was mashed and wouldn't fit nicely against the door. I took the aluminum off the door frame and tied string around the rubber to force it to go the opposite way (1 full week). This helped for a few days but the rubber wanted to go back to the awkward bent position (which I think was a result of laying on itself and 'training' itself to stand up funny. Next I loosened the screws and moved that section of the aluminum a quarter centimeter back. Now the rubber doesn't get in the way of the door.

Prior to this Angie's list deal, I had no idea who to go to for this time of service need - thanks to this offer - I got the necessary work done, and by a very professional company. Randy is a class A business owner, with high integrity and workmanship. Would definitely recommend him and use his services again

I purchased the Big Deal for weatherstripping three exterior doors on December 20, 2012. Within a few days I received an email from Randy Clyde saying that due to the proximity to the Christmas holidays, he would not be completing any coupon work until after New Years and that he would be in touch. In the middle of January I received an email response to an inquiry I made regarding when the work could be scheduled telling me that he was overworked and was running behind, so it would be a bit longer. The first week in February I began to be annoyed and let him know I expected service soon. He assured me that my job would be completed "by next Tuesday". He explained that he had experienced some personnel problems and was working short handed. On the following Thursday I contacted him again via email demanding to know when I would be scheduled since the Tuesday promised had come and gone. He phoned me that night and we set up an appointment for 10 am the next day. He was a no show. I phoned him and he said he didn't remember setting the appointment. He said he'd check his schedule and return my call within 15 minutes. An hour later he called back, agreeing to come to my house the following day at noon. I sent him a reminder email the night before and phoned him an hour before the appointment was to take place to avoid his forgetting again. He was actually on his way to my home when I called. He was at my house for about 30 minutes to replace weatherstripping on the three doors. I do not yet know how the work will hold up since it was just completed today. I am just so frustrated by trying to get this taken care of that I wanted to write my review now. According to the Big Deal, this is usually a $199 service. That would make Mr. Clyde's regular rate approximately $400 per hour. Wow. Should have taken up weatherstripping instead of teaching.

He was very friendly and responded very quickly to my inquiries. I ended up getting a refund because he was too overwhelmed and wouldn't be able to come to me for another 2-3 weeks, which he understood.

Arrived on time, reviewed base scope of work and addtional efforts. Secured material and addtional manpower. Got the work done in a timely manner.

Randy Clyde made the initial contact after I purchased the Big Deal. He kept in touch even during the Christmas Holidays and bad weather. He was not able to meet me for the first scheduled appointment, as his previous one took too long, but he did call in advance. He came out on a rainy day to examine the damage and set up a time when the job was to be performed. He called prior to their arrival. I was not home when the work was done, but everything looked good. He made a follow-up telephone call within a day or two of the work to find out if I was satisfied with the job.

The scheduling was the only issue we had but overall it turned out well. I paid a little extra for a door that I needed a little more on the side.

Before Rain Leak Solutions fixed our problem, you could stand in front of the door and see daylight between the doors when closed and locked. When the wind blew you could feel it as it came through our front doors. "Shorty" was a genius at problem solving and explaining our options. Both men who came out were polite and helpful. Randy was the ultimate professional when it came to arranging a workable time for the Big Deal and punctuality. Would definitely recommend.

They performed this service in great fashion and also sealed the bottom of 2 of the doors. Our front door is an extremely heavy wood stained door that was removed and the bottom was altered in order to apply stripping to the bottom. They did a great job on this and we thought the price was very fair for the work they did. I would highly recommend them if you need some weatherstripping done and also leak detection. We were extremely satisfied!

They were pleasant, courteous and efficient. What they did in less than an hour would have taken me at least half a day, if I could find the proper stripping! The bottom stripping of the back door was torn, but I hesitated on replacement because I thought the door would have to be taken off its hinges to get at the bottom. Instead they had a slide-on fitting as a replacement that did not require door removal. I would recommend them without reservation.

Randy and his team were great. I purchased the $99 weather stripping thorugh Angie's list. I also had him look at a leaky window. The weather stripping helped a great deal, we noticed the difference almost immediately. Even though he wasn't able to fix my leaking window he told us what he would do and recommended another company. What I liked best is he didn't try up-sellling us on things we didn't need. We will definitely be using him agian.

I called the company and set the appointment. Randy's brother came to the appointment and Randy showed up shortly after his brother. He discussed his services and was very professional. Overall, there was no value to the rain and leak inspection because they do not have any way to determine any leaks other than the information the home owner provides. The cost of service is too expensive with no real warranty to back their product. The cost and value does not add up overall. It is just cheaper to find a quality painting company and they will provide the same type of maintenance. About 2 months later after the inspection the home had a roof leak and I paid $325 to get repaired as compared to $1,260 for my roof to be leak free as claimed by the rain and leak inspector (that is the cost of an entire roof). Randy is very nice but way over priced.

The experience was fine. I did not have any issues. If there had been any issues, I would have remembered them.
