Needed some lawn sprinkler maintenance and was unhappy with current service company. Because of the Angies List rating I decided to call them. They were able to come when I wanted them to, the technician called before he got to my house, they repaired my problems, cleaned up after themselves, and left. I was very pleased and will use this company in the future. Why can't all service companies be like this?

* I choose Express Electric because even though their price was higher, they sent two guys for the price. When I've used other companies that do this you get two very fast guys for the higher price. Unfortunately, one was a trainee and time was spent teaching. * i asked for a dryer outlet and the outlet they installed was not for a dryer so they had to come back a week later after we moved in and replace it. They rightfully didnt charge for this, but it shows they arent really experienced. Plus, it meant I couldnt unpack the food in the pantry until the shelves could be put in after they came out to get the dryer in. *markup on parts was very high *the discussed budget was 2 hours so i was expecting around $200. the total bill was something like $450

It was a good experience. They were prompt and courteous. I was satisfied with the job they did. They did what they said they would do and they came on time. I can't complain; I was happy with the service. I was satisfied with the price. I would use them again.

On day one, a rep came out and provided an estimate and an installation date and time. Crew came out the week of the installation date -- but neglected to call first to advise they were coming. Crew spent the majority of the day installing lawn irrigation/sprinkler systems. Equipment has worked as expected. Crew responded to concerns after installation was complete -- made adjustments, etc., all in a timely, professional manner.

Express Electric worked with us on the remodeling and updating of a 60 yr old house.. They were prompt when they were schedulted as they sometimes had to work around carpenters and plumbers... I found them to be competent, professional,and and very nice.. I have since used them again for some follow up work...

I had used this company several months ago after purchasing our home to repair several leaks and replace sprinkler heads. At that time they said there is a 1 year warranty on the work. We noticed leaking in the same place as a previous repair. The scheduled a visit for the next day, but said it would be late in the afternoon. I had to go out of town for the morning but would be back by noon. The plumber called me at noon and was at my home. He was polite enough to wait for me to get home. He found the previous work and showed me everything. It was a leak near, but not in the same place. The leak was in a tight area between several valves and required replacing most of the other work. also it was too cold for the glue to set. He felt bad that they had been out a few months before. My take was that he was unsure if the leak was new or had been previously missed. He told me it would be expensive then said he'd write the bid for only $200 since they had been out recently. That was great b/c my water bill dropped $80 just turning off water to the sprinkler for 2 weeks of a 4 week billing cycle. We scheduled work for when temperatures were warmer to allow the pipe glue to set properly. A different plumber came out teh next week (He was also earlier than scheduled, but started working before I got home.) He repaired it and it has not leaked since. I was pleased and felt they were forthright in showing me the previous repair and where the damage was this time. I would use them again, but I'll plan on them actually arriving before they are scheduled.

Their first available appointment was over a week from the time I called, but the work the guys did was great. They were professional and got the leaks stopped and our sprinklers work much better now. They ran the system several times and double checked everything. I was pleased with their service.
