The experience was good. They were professional.

Absolutely, hands down, the best experience I've had with a contractor in my entire 44 years of existence. I used Angie's List to find what I hoped was a reliable local contractor who could fix what a crook had not properly done when asked by my aging parents to replace their roof a few years back. The crook (old contractor) disappeared after my parents started calling complaining after the first heavy rain that the roof leaked. Mr. Romero and his young son/apprentice showed up on time as promised to take measurements and assess the work load. They were both very professional and calmly explained the areas that needed repair and explained in great detail what they would do. They also were very accommodating with another HVAC contractor i had hired at the same time to install a new HVAC system which meant removing two old swamp coolers on the roof. Mr. Romero, as promised, reached out to my HVAC contractor directly, and coordinated the work on the roof with him. They both completed their work in 2 days. Mr. Romero had requested that the HVAC contractor leave all openings unfinished so that Mr. Romero's company would be 100% responsible to seal the entire roof oncee the new air conditioner was in place. I live in San Antonio and make frequent trips to El Paso for business. Mr. Romero took the time to email me multiple photos of the work in progress as well as the completed roof work since I was not in town during the work. He was also very gracious and friendly with my parents during this whole process. I highly recommend Mr. Romero for your next roofing project.

It didn't go I can't rate a job when it wasn't done not too happy with paying for false advertising

Mr. Romero promptly returned my phone call and request for a review of our leaking (only 4 year old) roof. The original contractor was long gone and there was no hope of invoking their "warranty". We set an appointment and Mr. Romero arrived on time the same day. We reviewed the apparent trouble spots on the roof and the remedial options were fully explained to me. The entire roof was inspected and my attention was drawn to potential, future problem areas. Romero Roofing soon provided a written estimate for the cost of repairs and some "optional" although recommended items (which was competitive, and in some cases. less expensive that other estimates we had obtained). Upon our acceptance of the estimate, the roofing crew arrived, on time a few days later to start the work. Mr. Romero stopped by to make sure everything was going satisfactorily. His crew was polite, efficient, conducted the work quietly (without the usual blaring radio), and their clean up was faultless. I had originally been told that the work would probably span two days, however, everything was accomplished in one day! A couple of days after completion, Mr. Romero conducted a "walk through " with me and pointed out all areas where the work had been done and readily answered all my questions. The firm warranties their work for 1 year and as they have been an El Paso fixture for a long time, I do not doubt that IF I have any problems after the next downpour, they will be responsive and provide a solution. I was most satisfied with the manner in which this company conducts their business. To conclude: if you have concerns about the roof of your home (or business), Romero Roofing are well qualified and ready to answer your questions, provide a reasonable estimate of cost, and when requested, make effective repairs in a timely manner.

Great I have used him before and he was wonderful.I wrote an evaluation at that time as well. I have had he do more work for me so I am comenting again.

Crew arrived as promised very professional, cleaned up area. We did find a few nails in the yard and called, they sent out someone to sweep the yard again for any debris.

The service turned out great. It was a well received product and service. It was something that I needed and he came out and attended to my needs. I liked the quality of the work.

There were a couple of things that were forgotten initially but after contacting Mr. Romero they were completed quickly.

He came and gave me an estimate. He was going to deduct the Big Deal and I never got around to calling him back. I was gonna call him back earlier this month. I went to the e-mail where he had given me the estimate and it said that the e-mail address was not available. As far as performing work, he hasn’t performed work yet. The estimate was way above what the discount was but he would discount the money I paid for the deal. I don’t know what credit he would give. He was very professional, he knew his work. We thought the damage that we had would be covered. The insurance adjuster had told me we could get it done for under $100. He took pictures and showed me everything and it was about $500. He was very prompt in giving me estimate and sending me pictures of it. I give him an A rating but the deal was like a C rating. His work was good. He was punctual and responded right away. If he honors the deal, we're definitely gonna use it.

Nothing, I called several times, even left my return number. He never returned my call and had to use someone else. WAY TO GO, MR. "NO SHOW", ROMERO.

Did a great job. Met with Mr. Romero and he went over every detail of what was going to be done, prior starting the job. Work was clean and they provided quick service. Very professional and helped with submitting a claim with my home insurance. Highly recommended.

Everything was as promised and on schedule. Work was done professionally and very clean.

I was pleased with most of the work done on my roof. The only issue I have is that Mr. Romero does not do a final walk through with customer, at least, he didn't with me. Had he done a final walk through, he would have seen that his drywall workers did not complete their work. The dry wall workers walked away telling me that they would be back at a later time to complete the work. They never came back. I was trusting them at their word as they agreed to come back and do some extra work we had discussed. If they did not want the extra work they should have at least completed their current work.

Partial full replacement, tile roof repair and remaining flat roof reseal. Finished in two days. Roger is a great guy and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend Roger Romero roofing.

My experience has gone very well so far. They are currently working on the project. So far the staff is punctual and friendly while visiting. I would recommend this company to others.

Little slow to provide an estimate.

PLEASE SHARE THE BAD EXPERIENCE YOU HAD or MAY HAVE WITH ROGER ROMERO, HELP OTHER PEOPLE TO SAVE TIME. I called Roger Romero because he had the most ?A? reviews on AngiesList, but I SHOULD HAVE followed the advice of the ?F? review dated Nov 14, 201. Now, I am asking myself, if Roger Romero deserves so many ?A? reviews, because in my opinion either he is a lunatic, or he discriminates. I am taking the time to write this review because this guy should STOP treating people with DISRESPECT. Roger Romero may treat roofs with disrespect (time will tell) but NOT people! Below, I will state the truth. Anyway, whatever Roger Romero may answer, will of course be biased. And as I would not be able to reply back, you will decide who ?sounds? more real: a POTENTIAL CUSTOMER who simply needed an estimate to repair his roof, or a ROOFER who is afraid to lose some business, or worse who does not care. Another point to consider is that I received, for the same roof, several fair estimates from other reputable roofers who are also on Angieslist. HERE IS THE STORY: I called Roger Romero on Friday 11/15, left a message on the voice-mail. He called me back (from another phone number) and told me he can evaluate the roof by himself. I told him that I needed to be there to open access to the property and to the roof and to discuss the options. We did set an appointment for Monday 11/18 morning. Roger Romero agreed to call me half an hour in advance, which what he did on Monday morning. Therefore we should have met around 11:00am. BUT at 10:45am, ROGER ROMERO calls me and tells me that he has already seen the roof and that there is a lot of patches and work to do. I told Roger Romero that I am 5 minutes away, asked him to wait and so I will open the property to give him access to the roof, and he will be able to do an estimate. To my big surprise, Roger Romero told me that he already saw the roof. Second big surprise, Roger Romero told me that he does not have time and he has to leave because he is really busy. As I insisted that I am only 5 minutes away, Roger Romero told me that he was not interested to do an estimate. So when I reached the property, 5 minutes later, at 10:50am, ROGER ROMERO was not there. Therefore I did not see him and even do not know how he looks!! I asked a neighbor (who was in the street 10 minutes ago) who told me that he did not see anyone on the roof, or climbing other the fence. THE CONCLUSION: Roger Romero is rude, unprofessional. My opinion is either ROGER ROMERO DISCRIMINATES PEOPLE or chooses HIS ROOFS and DOES NOT CARE IF HE MADE PEOPLE LOSE TIME!!! To give Roger Romero the rank (A or F) he deserves, I encourage anyone who had issues with Roger Romero to take a few minutes to write honestly their experience with him. I think that ANGIESLIST is a good service, in particular in El Paso, and can get better if we not only post the "A" reviews but also the B, C, D and F reviews. DO NOT ALLOW THIS MAN ON YOUR ROOF, OR ANYWHERE, ON YOUR PROPERTY, ( UNESCORTED ) !!! I WAS ON MY ROOF THE DAY BEFORE HE EXAMINED IT AND THERE WERE NO MISSING ROOF TILES AT ALL!!! AFTER HE DID HIS ROOF EXAMINATION SEVERAL DAYS LATER, HE EMAILED HIS ESTIMATE WITH A PHOTO OF A MISSING ROOF TILE, ( RIGHT AT THE FRONT OF THE ROOF AND IN PLAIN SIGHT). I WENT UP AND LOOKED AT THE SAME SPOT, WHICH HAD A COMPLETE TILE BEFORE HE SHOWED UP, AND I NOTICED PULLED NAILS IN THE SAME SPOT, ( BUT NO WHERE ELSE ) !!!! NO OTHER LOOSE OR MISSING TILES AND NO LOOSE NAILS ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I CAN'T PROVE HE PULLED IT, BECAUSE I TRUSTED HIM ON THE ROOF ALONE, ( DON'T DO THAT), BECAUSE I BELIEVE HE WILL USE IT TO HIS ADVANTAGE TO CREATE DAMAGE WHERE THERE WAS NONE !!! I WOULD NEVER LET THIS COMPANY ANYWHERE NEAR MY PROPERTY ( NO MATTER WHAT PRICE HE OFFERED )!!! I WOULDN'T EVEN LET HIM WORK FOR FREE ON MY PROPERTY, HE GIVES GOOD HARD WORKING MEN A BAD NAME!!!

Roger was outstanding....answered my request same evening- was out to inspect next day at my convenience and repair and work done by end of week- whole experience was about 4 days from start to finish- I have recommended him to several of my friends and neighbors who also had leak problems from the past rains in August-can't say enough about him- was honest and fair....found nothing wrong with my roof except for what I requested- took before and after pictures so I know what needed done and what he did do...told me I was good to go for at least 5 more years unless something came up and then to call him....very, very happy and satisfied!

El Paso experienced significant rainfall the second week in September and that's when my roof decided to start leaking. Unfortunately I was out of town and my wife had to contend with the leaky roof. I searched for roof repair contractors on Angie's list and picked the top two to call. Roger Romero Roofing was one of them. The other contractor informed me that they could not make it until the following week which was unacceptable as water was coming into my house. Romero Roofing showed up that afternoon while it was still raining hard and did a temporary repair. The temporary repair cost me $350. They then showed up the following day when the rain had subsided to ensure the temporary repair would hold if it kept raining. I then got an estimate from them for the more permanent repair but because of the workload they had they could not start the job until October 7, 2013. I agreed to wait that long as it had stopped raining but more importantly because of the professional, responsive manner with which they handled the temporary repair. While it did not rain anymore, I felt confident that if it had and the temporary repair had still leaked that Mr. Romero would have come to repair it. On October 7, 2013 Romero Roofing's workers showed up early in the day to do the permanent repair. They completed the job in one day as Mr. Romero had estimated. Later that evening he sent me a set of photographs of the repairs his workers had done on different parts of the roof. I went unto the roof and inspected it directly and was extremely pleased with the work they did. If ever my house needs any roof repairs I will not hesitate to use Romero Roofing again. They are competent, professional, reliable and reasonably priced.

Mr. Romero and his crew did a great job. The job was started on the scheduled date and was completed in three days. The quality of work is exemplary and the professionalism of the entire company was impressive. I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with Mr. Romero. He showed up promptly to perform the initial survey and emailed me a well-explained estimate a day later. He also explained the benefits of certain material upgrades (30 year shingles and ridge-vent system) which we took advantage of. The crew showed up with their own port-a-potty, and cleaned the yard up before leaving on a daily basis. I definitely recommend this company to friends and family. Great experience!

No one came on Friday per our conversation. No one came or called on Saturday so I called and left a message on Saturday night. Meanwhile the leak in the hallway ceiling began to gush water. On Monday morning, Mr. Romero called and apologized and informed me he was too busy to come to my house. I think Romero roofing is probably a good company and Mr. Romero is a pleasant man albeit not attentive to my situation. I was misled for two days believing His services were "on the way.". A timely phone call would have eliminated this review.

He certainly was professional, when he was ready to leave I asked him if he had an idea of the cost. (The job was so small he didn`t measure anything, therefore must have known the cost immediately) His reply: you will get an estimate in the mail, which I did $1,150.-. I called Hector roofing . Richard King the owner came and told me $100.- an hour, probably 4 hours. I ended up paying $450.- and I am pleased. I am aware Roger Romero is a good roofer but clearly doesn`t want to be bothered with a small job.

Mr. Romero responded to a request for an estimate the same day and submitted a bid promptly outlining all that was to be include. He provided me with samples of shingling and metal flashing to choose from and once he was awarded the contract gave me options for dates on which the job was to be done. The crew arrived promptly on the date selected and worked efficiently doing the job in two days. RRR is bonded and insured and has the highest marks available from the BBB. I recommend his company unequivocally. bjp
